Synopsis:

Nan Xu suddenly faced a family crisis, and her parents arranged for her to stay at her former neighbor’s house.

The only problem was, that “neighbor brother” was arrogant and unruly—and he couldn’t stand well-behaved, delicate girls like Nan Xu.

On the day she moves into Xie Hejing’s house, the boy comes out of the shower after a game of basketball, hair still dripping, a towel hanging loosely around his waist.

He pauses when he sees her, lips curling into a smile before his gaze sharpens in warning: “Those beautiful eyes of yours… don’t want them anymore?”

Xie Hejing set two rules for Nan Xu:

  1. Don’t enter his room.
  2. Outside the house, they are strangers.

And so, the front door became the dividing line for their relationship.

But later, the “line” shifted—to the door of Xie Hejing’s bedroom.

One night, Nan Xu, dressed in a frilly nightdress, walked down the dark hallway and pushed open that forbidden door.

She was immediately pulled into a cool embrace. He chuckled nonchalantly, “Little sister?”

Glancing at the nightdress now lying crumpled on the floor, Nan Xu whispered, “My dress is dirty. You’ll have to wash it clean for me.”

Hearing this, Xie Hejing tapped his finger against her body and murmured in a low voice: “Stop calling me ‘brother’ from now on.”

Scooping her up, he headed toward the bathroom. Startled, Nan Xu let out a cry, only for him to lean close and whisper in her ear: “Shh… Lower your voice. This place isn’t soundproof.”
