Chapter 273- Gloomy Blood Servant vs. Obsessive Vampire Prince (06)

Thinking about how Mu Jin had been asleep for so many years, it was possible that after finally waking up, he suddenly wanted to do something to entertain himself. After all, today, his master had tried directly drinking blood and even shared a room with a blood servant.

Since the people of the Huangfu family were so audacious, they had to be prepared to face the wrath of the Malkavian clan and the cruel methods of their master.

Mu Jin didn’t even need to say anything; Wallis imagined a whole scenario on his own. He only left the room after confirming that Mu Jin had no further instructions, heading off to handle other matters in the manor.

So when Huangfu Yu awoke, he found Mu Jin quietly sitting in the soft glow of the setting sun, lazily perched on the sofa. Under the warm yellow light, Mu Jin appeared gentle and beautiful.

Huangfu Yu didn’t understand why he would use such words to describe a fierce blood clan member, yet he could not muster any feelings of fear toward the person before him. The exhaustion of the past few days had dulled his desires; perhaps death was inevitable, and regardless of the methods employed against him, he felt no fear.

Mu Jin soon realized that Huangfu Yu had woken up. He looked expressionlessly at the man opposite him, stood up, and pressed the bell on the wall. Before long, a servant arrived, and Mu Jin simply instructed, “Bring food.”

Shortly after, a bowl of hot meat porridge was brought in. The porridge was fragrant, with steam rising from it, causing Huangfu Yu to swallow involuntarily.

Although he hadn’t been deprived of food since arriving here, his appetite had always been poor. However, after fainting and getting some good rest, he felt somewhat better, and naturally, his appetite had returned. At that moment, feeling extremely hungry, he looked at the porridge before him and felt a surge of desire.

Mu Jin watched as the man’s attention was completely on the food, and a hint of a smile flickered in his eyes. He picked up a spoon from the side and tapped it against the bowl of porridge, then looked up at Huangfu Yu and said softly, “Go ahead and eat.”

Huangfu Yu didn’t hesitate and began to eat the large bowl of porridge hungrily. The porridge contained plenty of vegetables and minced meat, providing balanced nutrition and being easy to digest. As it warmed his stomach, it made him feel completely cozy.

The amount was just right; after finishing the bowl, Huangfu Yu felt full without being stuffed. Once his hunger was satisfied, he noticed that the room he was in was quite spacious and bright, with large floor-to-ceiling windows that provided a clear view of the beautiful scenery of the manor outside.

The room’s decor was simple yet elegant. Having served the Huangfu family for a long time, Huangfu Yu had a discerning eye. He could tell that the furnishings in this room were quite valuable and suited the identity of the person opposite him.

Although he still couldn’t fully grasp who Mu Jin was, he remembered that the most authoritative figure in the manor had always been the handsome, golden-haired man. Today, that golden-haired man had actually referred to the person in front of him as “master.”

So, this person was the true owner of the manor?

But why did he let himself rest here? After all, to the other party, he was merely an inconsequential blood servant. Wasn’t the treatment he received a bit too good for a blood servant?

However, before Huangfu Yu could continue his wild thoughts, Mu Jin stood up and walked over to him, placing the documents he was holding beside Huangfu Yu.

Seeing this, Huangfu Yu struggled to sit up and carefully examined the documents in front of him. To his astonishment, he discovered that they contained detailed information regarding himself and the recent activities of the Huangfu family.

So, the person opposite him already knew that he was an imposter? What would he want to do about someone who had no connection to the Huangfu family’s bloodline at all?

Mu Jin quietly stood by the bed, watching the man’s expression change several times after seeing the documents, finally settling into calmness. He slightly leaned forward, extending his hand to gently touch Huangfu Yu’s eyes.

When Huangfu Yu saw Mu Jin’s movement, he suddenly recalled what the other had said before: that his blood was blood of despair and complained that its taste was not delightful enough.

So, could the other see into his heart through his eyes?

Huangfu Yu looked up and silently met Mu Jin’s gaze, waiting for the other’s judgment. However, Mu Jin simply stared into his eyes for a long time before softly saying, “There is still no anger in your eyes, so have you already given up hope for life?”

Upon hearing Mu Jin’s words, Huangfu Yu lowered his eyelids, unable to help but let out a bitter laugh in his heart.

He had reached a dead end, nothing more than a silenced waste, a human who had lost everything, a lowly blood clan reserve. What right did he have to reignite his hope for life? Perhaps the only thing he could look forward to now was the peace after death.

Was he unwilling? Of course he was. But what ability did he have to take revenge on the Huangfu family now? He wanted to curse those who had harmed him, but if curses were truly effective, how could so many people continue to live well after betraying their oaths?

He had lost all hope, so how could he expect to rekindle life in his eyes?

“What if I am willing to help you then?”

A clear voice rang out, causing Huangfu Yu to feel momentarily disoriented. He turned to look at Mu Jin’s face, only to find that there was still no trace of emotion in his eyes, as if the words he had just heard were merely an illusion.

However, the person in front of him patiently said, “You didn’t mishear me. I’m asking you, what if I am willing to help you?”

Huangfu Yu was surprised to realize he hadn’t imagined it; he stared wide-eyed at Mu Jin. He truly didn’t think he had any value that would prompt the other to help him.

Yet he also knew that if he received this person’s help, all his despair would transform into hope, and impossibilities would become possibilities.

Why would he want to help me?

This question arose in Huangfu Yu’s mind, and he desperately wanted to voice it.

He certainly didn’t believe that Mu Jin would suddenly want to help a weakling out of kindness; there must be something that required an equal exchange.

What did he want from him? He was currently Mu Jin’s blood servant, merely a possession; what value could he possibly offer to warrant the other’s assistance?

Huangfu Yu longed to ask Mu Jin, but his throat could only produce a series of hoarse, broken sounds at that moment.

As those rough tones escaped his lips, he immediately fell silent. Lowering his head, he clenched his fists, seemingly transported back to the moment he had been forced to ingest the silencing drug. When he opened his eyes again, they were filled with overwhelming hatred and piercing crimson.

The next second, his chin was lifted by the man in front of him. He saw the man’s lips curve into a smile as he looked directly into Huangfu Yu’s eyes and remarked appreciatively, “That gaze isn’t bad. Even in hatred, it carries a hint of vitality.”

After making his assessment, Mu Jin leaned in and captured Huangfu Yu’s lips.

A soft and warm sensation enveloped Huangfu Yu, who was stunned and widened his eyes in shock. His lips parted slightly, giving the other an opportunity.

For Huangfu Yu, this was his first kiss. Although he once held the status of heir to the Huangfu family and was seen by others as a child of destiny, he had never developed feelings for anyone in his twenty-seven years of life and had certainly never had any physical intimacy with anyone.

Huangfu Yu had thought about finding someone to share his life with, but his work had always kept him extremely busy. Even though many people around him showed interest, he felt that something was always missing; those people were never what he truly wanted.

So when Mu Jin kissed him, Huangfu Yu felt a sense of shock. However, beyond that shock, he couldn’t summon even a hint of disgust.

He had always believed that blood clans were supposed to be covered in the stench of blood. Previously, when he was in poor condition and being fed on, he had no energy to observe the other person.

But at this moment, as their breaths intertwined, he realized that the scent coming from Mu Jin was not the sweet metallic smell of blood; instead, it was a refreshing aroma of grass and wood that made him feel invigorated, even prompting him to deepen the kiss uncontrollably.

The instinctive response led to the kiss becoming more intense, and it wasn’t until his tongue was bitten that Huangfu Yu sensed something was amiss.

Those blood-red eyes were fixed firmly on him, so this was not really a kiss; it was merely the other person feeding on him?

Instead of choosing the artery in his neck for the blood feed, the vampire in front of him had chosen his earlobe. This time, the little guy bit his tongue to draw blood. Although it was just a meal for Mu Jin, was it really necessary to be this intimate?

Huangfu Yu felt a little stifled and dazed, and the thought of Mu Jin feeding from others in the same way made him uncomfortable. But soon, his ability to think vanished once more.

His mind no longer felt muddled; instead, it was as though countless fireworks exploded, almost lifting him into the air. His vision turned white, and his body trembled uncontrollably.

Finally, Huangfu Yu instinctively reached out and pulled Mu Jin tightly into his arms, as if he wanted to merge their bodies into one. After a long moment, a shudder ran through his spirit, and in that instant, it was as if he glimpsed heaven.

When the wave of sensation passed, Huangfu Yu slowly released the person in his arms. He saw that Mu Jin’s expression remained indifferent and calm, showing no excitement.

Huangfu Yu felt as though a bucket of cold water had been poured over him, deflating his mood. However, the sticky, wet sensation from his clothes unmistakably reminded him of what had just happened. All from a kiss, from having his blood drawn, and he had lost control like that.

Huangfu Yu felt embarrassed, a rare flush of shame rising within him as he looked at Mu Jin with a complicated expression. He had imagined many scenarios of what being a blood servant would be like, but never this.

Although he was treated as mere food, vampires seemed to have a way of making people sink into indulgence and depravity. Yet, there wasn’t a single feeling of humiliation in his heart.

Mu Jin could more or less guess what was going through Huangfu Yu’s mind, but being gentle and tender wasn’t something he could do at the moment.

He wasn’t able to express his love too directly; even if he said something, the other wouldn’t believe him. And even with his energy and the repairs from 003, the madness that existed in the Malkavian bloodline couldn’t be completely eradicated.

The blood issue had amplified Mu Jin’s dark side, and now his possessiveness over his lover had reached its peak.

Although Mu Jin didn’t want to admit it, he couldn’t help but feel a deep satisfaction with their relationship. His lover was now his possession, bound to stay by his side, and everything about him belonged to Mu Jin.

This feeling of complete control over the one he loved most was incredibly tempting to Mu Jin in his current state.
