The Little Kitten is Saving the Villain Again Today! – Chapter 4

President 4

He Wang originally planned to leave the kitten on the first floor, and the cat bed he had someone buy had just arrived. However, Tang Xi seized the opportunity and clung to him like sticky candy.

All four tiny paws clung tightly to his pant leg, climbing up bit by bit.

The little kitten suddenly leaped onto his waist.

“Meow!” I want to sleep on the bed too!

Ever since Tang Xi gained intelligence, he had refused to sleep in a cat bed—he much preferred sleeping on a proper bed.

Earlier, while He Wang was changing clothes, Tang Xi had spent some time on his bed and experienced the sheer luxury of a high-end mattress. After that, there was no way he would settle for a cat bed.

The person who had brought the cat bed witnessed the whole scene and was so terrified that they didn’t even dare to breathe too loudly, fearing that He Wang, if in a bad mood, might throw the audacious little kitten out.

However, He Wang merely lowered his gaze, looking at the kitten with neither joy nor anger. He seemed about to say something but hesitated.

Tang Xi tilted his head in confusion: “Meow?”

He Wang: “I haven’t given you a name yet.”

That thought had just occurred to him.

“I can’t keep calling you ‘kitten’ forever.”

“Meow.” I already have a name.

“Meow meow meow.” Nice to meet you, He Wang. My name is Tang Xi.

Of course, He Wang couldn’t understand a single word the little kitten was saying. He just thought the kitten’s voice was soft, sweet, and unusually affectionate.

“I’ll call you Tangkuai1,” he decided after less than a minute of thought.

The subordinate who had brought the cat bed felt as if he had been struck by lightning. He never expected the ruthless and decisive He Wang to not only let a kitten climb all over him but also to give it such a cutesy name.

The fact that this man wanted to keep a cat at all was already shocking enough for the subordinate.

Tang Xi was just as stunned. He was absolutely dissatisfied with his new name.

“Meow meow meow!” You’re the candy! Your whole family is candy!

He Wang watched the little kitten meowing furiously on his waist, looking quite pleased: “Seems like you really like the name.”

Faced with this complete failure in communication, Tang Xi gave up struggling. His little paws latched onto He Wang’s expensive clothes, refusing to budge.

1551 tried to comfort him: [At least it’s a food-related name.]

The moment it said that, 1551 regretted it. Just because humans liked naming cats after food didn’t mean the cats enjoyed it.

Strangely enough, Tang Xi actually felt a little better.

[I guess it’s fine… but I’d rather be called Jerky.]

1551: …I really don’t understand you cats at all.

He Wang waved his hand, signaling his subordinate to leave, then carried the little fluff ball on his waist back to his room.

Once inside, Tang Xi immediately noticed that the bedsheets had been changed.

A flicker of guilt flashed through him. His paws had been a bit dirty earlier, and he might have left two tiny gray paw prints on the previous sheets.

He thought he had gotten away with it.

But then, his guilt quickly disappeared.

How could anyone blame a little kitten for something like that? It was obviously He Wang’s fault for randomly tossing him onto the bed while changing clothes.

Besides, the new sheets looked incredibly soft and comfortable.

He Wang paused when he saw the little kitten on his waist, eyes gleaming with anticipation, clearly eager to jump onto the bed. After a brief hesitation, he changed direction and walked toward the bathroom instead.

Just because he was willing to let a living creature onto his bed for the first time didn’t mean he could tolerate sharing it with a dirty little kitten.

The moment Tang Xi was carried into the bathroom, his fur bristled in alarm. When He Wang set him down on the sink, his first instinct was to run, but his paws slipped on the smooth surface, and he tumbled over.

It wasn’t that he was against bathing—he actually bathed every day in his human form. But he hated the feeling of wet fur, so he usually avoided water while in cat form, let alone taking a full-on bath.

He Wang caught the struggling kitten and frowned: “Be good. You’re too dirty.”

After being covered in dust from the accident site and then smearing his face with goat’s milk, Tang Xi had indeed become a certified little grimeball.

Tang Xi struggled with all his might: “Meow meow meow!” Just wipe me down with a damp towel! I don’t need a bath!

His weak protests were completely ignored as he was dunked straight into the warm water.

Since there was no pet shampoo available, He Wang simply massaged the dirt out with warm water, rubbing the tiny cat gently.

That’s when he made a surprising discovery—what had once looked like a round, chubby kitten was actually just an illusion created by fluffy fur.

Once wet, Tang Xi visibly shrank, turning into a tiny, fragile little thing. He looked like he’d fall apart if handled too roughly.

He Wang squeezed one of his small paws and muttered: “So tiny. You need to eat more—there’s barely any meat on you.”

Tang Xi: “Meow meow meow?” Are you raising a pig? Why are you weighing me like this?

A cat’s fluffiness was just a clever disguise! There was no such thing as a fat cat, only a well-insulated one.

1551: [I think your fur color is a bit risky. Ever heard the saying, ‘Out of ten orange cats, nine are fat, and the last one is as big as an elephant’?]

Tang Xi: [What does an orange cat have to do with me, a golden British Shorthair?]

Tang Xi flatly rejected the claim that a golden British Shorthair also counted as an orange cat.

With a look of utter resignation, Tang Xi was finally washed clean, then wrapped in a warm, fluffy towel.

He Wang used a low-noise hairdryer on purpose, letting the gentle warm air dry Tang Xi’s fur, filling him with cozy warmth.

Under the breeze of the hairdryer, he quickly fluffed up again, turning into a golden dandelion—rounder and even more puffy than before.

Bathing a cat wasn’t easy. He Wang himself was drenched, and his now-transparent clothes faintly revealed the outline of his abs.

After placing Tang Xi on a pillow on the bed, he headed straight for the bathroom.

Though the frosted glass door blurred everything inside, Tang Xi still felt a subtle, indescribable awkwardness.

A handsome guy was showering, stark naked, just a wall away from him—somehow, that was even more embarrassing than changing in front of him.

This tiny moment of awkwardness came from a sudden realization: the world he was in followed a boys’ love storyline, and the villain happened to like men.

Even though he was just a little kitten, he was still an internet-savvy one, well-versed in human web culture.

But now, as a cat, he couldn’t use phones or computers.

Tang Xi poked at 1551 in his mind: [If only I had a human form right now. At least I’d be able to play on my phone.]

1551 was utterly exasperated, feeling like it was babysitting a child: [Just tell me what game you want to play, and I can send it directly to your mind. Stop poking me! I’m trying to figure out a way for you to enroll in Ye Qian’s school—I’m busy.]

1551 firmly believed that once this world ended, it had to request a pay raise from the Judge. Taking care of such an immature, play-obsessed, non-human host should be worth double the points.

Just thinking about it, it could almost hear the sound of points raining down on itself. Instantly, its mood improved.

Tang Xi tilted its head: [I don’t want to play a game. I want to watch a movie. I want to watch Puss in Boots.]

With a pained heart, 1551 spent 0.5 points to stream the movie for him and emphasized: [Make sure to pay me back once you earn some task points.]

Tang Xi ignored it and focused entirely on the movie.

But since the down-feather pillow was just too comfortable, he fell asleep after only ten minutes.

1551: ??? You prodigal little cat.

. . . . .

Tang Xi slept soundly until morning. When he woke up, he realized he was alone.

He jumped up in a panic and meowed anxiously: “Meow meow meow!” 1551, I lost the villain!

Before 1551 could respond, He Wang stepped out of the bathroom, adjusting his tie.

“You’re awake?”

His deep, magnetic voice was tinged with a husky morning rasp, adding an unexpected hint of sensuality.

Tang Xi twitched his little ears. Seeing that the villain was still here, he suddenly remembered something else…

“Meow meow meow!” My breakfast!

Surprisingly, He Wang seemed to understand exactly what he was so anxious about. With one arm, he scooped up the little kitten and headed downstairs.

The dignified president had now become a mere mode of transportation for a tiny kitten.

If someone had told people that something like this would happen to He Wang, no one would have believed it. But here it was, happening right before their eyes.

The veterinarian who had been invited over also knew of He Wang. He had previously treated the pets of high-profile individuals and had heard plenty of rumors about the infamous President He.

Being described as “moody and unpredictable” was already putting it kindly—within the cutthroat world of business, He Wang was known for being ruthless, devouring his competition without mercy.

At first, the veterinarian felt tense and uneasy under He Wang’s intimidating presence. But the moment He Wang started asking about cat care, the veterinarian straightened his back and launched into an enthusiastic explanation, speaking fluently and confidently.

The butler had found someone reliable—the veterinarian was a true animal lover. When discussing his area of expertise, he radiated confidence.

Meanwhile, Tang Xi contentedly chewed on the specially prepared beef, savoring the rich flavors while secretly critiquing everything in his mind.

All these care tips are for ordinary cats. My stomach is way stronger than that. I can eat everything humans eat, plus raw meat that humans can’t. And unlike normal cats that are strict carnivores, I can survive just fine on plain white rice too.

Feeling smug, Tang Xi flicked the tip of his tail proudly.

The meal passed peacefully as the veterinarian and He Wang engaged in friendly conversation.

Once breakfast was over, it was naturally time for He Wang to head to work.

He had a massive company to run—there was no way he could slack off every day and dump everything onto his subordinates.

But Tang Xi didn’t want to let him go alone. He was terrified that if He Wang met Ye Qian out of his sight, sparks of love might fly, and his mission would fail. That would mean facing punishment.

Besides, after everything He Wang had done for him, Tang Xi couldn’t bear to let him end up with the same tragic fate as in the original storyline.

So, for the first time when leaving the house, He Wang experienced just how clingy a little kitten could be.

He had to stop and pick up the little kitten that had, for the sixth time, deliberately flopped in front of him, pretending to fall just to get his attention.

A man who always had the final say, he had never felt this helpless before.

In the end, it was 1551 that broke the stalemate.

1551: [Silly cat, I finally got everything arranged for you! You can go to school in human form now!]

Tang Xi, who had just been lying on the ground acting spoiled, immediately jumped up. Like a heartless little scoundrel, he avoided He Wang’s outstretched hand as if nothing had happened.

“Meow.” Alright, man, you can go now.

Now that the kitten was finally behaving, He Wang felt oddly uncomfortable.

Hadn’t this little thing just looked like he was about to cry if himself left? How could he change his attitude so quickly?

Behind him, the butler chuckled: “Little Tangkuai is actually quite well-behaved.”

“Behave and don’t cause trouble,” He Wang said, giving the kitten—now busy licking his paws—a final deep glance before turning to leave.

The moment He Wang was gone, Tang Xi shot up excitedly.

[1551! I want to go to school! Now!]
