The Little Kitten is Saving the Villain Again Today! – Chapter 100

Extra

[Host! Host? Silly cat!]

The grumpy little cat, still groggy from sleep, angrily swiped at 1551, which had been circling above its head, knocking it down in one hit.

1551 was sent spinning from the hit, feeling dazed as it groggily shouted, “Did you forget where we’re supposed to go today!?”

Tang Xi yawned.

“Meow.” Of course not. We’re just heading off to another world for some fun.

He and his poop scooper had spent a long time on Earth. After traveling all over the Earth with a system, they started hopping to different worlds for adventure.

Now that he’d been woken up, there was no way he could go back to sleep. So Tang Xi got up from bed and started preparing for their next journey.

“Which world do you think my poop scooper will take me to this time? Last time, he brought me to that mermaid interstellar world and turned me into a mermaid,” Tang Xi frowned. “That was not a pleasant trip.”

He swore he’d never go back there again.

Seriously, what could be more cruel than turning a cat into a fish?

Every day, he found himself drooling over his own beautiful golden tail.

Even worse, his fish tail was just as sensitive as his cat tail—but way bigger. Just the slightest touch would make his whole body go weak.

Meanwhile, Ji Wu had somehow ended up becoming the Marshal of that world, keeping the poor little mermaid locked up at home every day just to torment him.

When Tang Xi first transformed into a mermaid, he couldn’t even switch between legs and a tail properly. He was basically a helpless lamb waiting to be devoured.

The more he thought about it, the more determined he became—he could not let Ji Wu choose the world this time.

That guy always found the weirdest places just to mess with him.

As soon as that thought crossed his mind, Ji Wu stepped into the room, carrying a steaming hot breakfast.

“Need me to carry you to brush your teeth?” Ji Wu asked with a teasing smile.

He was doing it on purpose. Back in the mermaid world, Tang Xi had struggled so much with transforming his tail into legs that Ji Wu had to carry him everywhere. No matter what he did, he had to be held—so much so that the entire interstellar world started gossiping that their mighty Marshal was keeping a beautiful but useless mermaid as a pet.

Of course, in the end, Tang Xi proved that he was far from useless—at least in terms of mental power. Not only was he not a waste, but he turned out to be a once-in-a-millennium 3S-class mermaid.

His reveal shocked the entire galaxy, attracting countless challengers who wanted to fight Ji Wu for the right to claim him as a mate.

Naturally, none of them met a good end.

But the whole being carried everywhere thing? Yeah, that was a dark history Tang Xi never wanted to think about again.

In his mind, he was a strong and mighty adult cat.

And yet, thanks to Ji Wu’s teasing, this so-called mighty adult cat was now completely bristling.

Ji Wu reached out and gently rubbed Tang Xi’s puffed-up ears. “This time, I’m taking you to several worlds.”

Tang Xi’s fluffed-up tail immediately relaxed. He tilted his head curiously. “How many?”

“Six.”

Tang Xi’s eyes widened. He looked up in surprise and excitement. “Awesome!”

As expected—or maybe not—they ended up in the very first world where they had met.

In that world, both He Wang and Tang Xi were long considered dead, but somehow, their love story had lived on.

By the time they arrived, it had already been ten years since Tang Xi left that world.

Tang Xi asked, “Were you sad when I suddenly disappeared?”

Ji Wu guided him through the bustling crowd, then lowered his head to press a soft kiss to Tang Xi’s forehead. “The moment I realized you were gone, I nearly went insane. Just before I lost my mind, I left. These worlds can’t hold me—I’d break them apart. So every time you leave, I regain my memories, and I follow you out.”

“Oh.” Tang Xi perked up again and took a big bite of the cotton candy in his hands—bigger than his own head.

Soft, fluffy, and sweet, it melted instantly in his mouth.

“But aren’t mission takers without identities supposed to have all traces of their existence erased from the world once they finish a mission?”

This was a precaution to prevent mission takers from leaving behind any evidence that didn’t belong to that world. And since Tang Xi had neither an identity nor a designated role in his first world, any traces of him should have been erased the moment he left.

Ji Wu paused for a moment.

“I kept it.”

Out of selfishness, he couldn’t bear to let the traces of their love be erased.

Tang Xi huffed. “So you do abuse your power. And here I thought you were just some rigid judge who spent all his time locked away in his domain, overseeing the worlds like a soulless judge.”

A cat never forgets a grudge.

He still remembered how heartbroken he’d been when he left the first world. At the time, he thought that once he completed all his missions, he could earn enough points to return home. He had even planned to give up his own existence just to use those points and reunite with his poop scooper.

Ji Wu didn’t deny it. “That was the first time.”

His first time breaking the rules—and his biggest transgression—had both been for Tang Xi.

Or rather, Tang Xi’s very existence was his exception.

They stayed in the first world for three months. During that time, Tang Xi also took a look at Ye Qian and Shen Chengsi.

They are Children of Fate in this world. Although the two of them never ended up together, the company they founded has become internationally renowned.

Since they were the original protagonists, it wasn’t hard to find them.

By this time, they were no longer young, and when they met, there was no longer the sharp confrontation of their younger days.

Tang Xi was afraid of being recognized. If they saw that he hadn’t aged a single day in the past ten years, it would be difficult to explain.

So, he only took a glance from afar.

Then, turning to Ji Wu, he mouthed: Let’s go.

Shen Chengsi’s head suddenly snapped up.

Ye Qian pressed down on his inexplicably restless heart and said with a hint of mockery, “What’s wrong? Mr. Shen, are you having second thoughts?”

Shen Chengsi abruptly stood up and turned around, striding toward the direction he had sensed something—only to find nothing there.

He stood frozen for a moment before murmuring, “Could it be…?”

Ye Qian’s gaze was unreadable—somewhere between pity and self-mockery. “That person has been gone for ten years.”

They both preferred to believe that, wherever that boy had disappeared to, he was still living his life somewhere.

Tang Xi had no idea that if he had lingered just a second longer, he would have been caught.

But by then, he and Ji Wu were already stepping into their next world.

Thirty-five years had passed since they last left this one.

Tang Xi specifically went through the textbook of this world and, surprisingly, found both his and Duan Sifei’s names inside.

Quite impressive.

In this world, he died of a stomach illness, and the whole country mourned his passing.

Especially the disabled people, who all gained new lives because of his experiments, whether they were born with disabilities or acquired them later, whether they were blind or paralyzed.

Not to mention, Tang Xi selflessly handed over the technology to the state, and with the promotion of the country and Duan Sifei, this technology didn’t become overpriced.

In this world, Tang Xi had to wear a full face mask and sunglasses to avoid being recognized, because even a child on the street could identify him.

Tang Xi: “What happened after I left?”

Ji Wu didn’t answer, only taking his hand to visit the places they once saw together.

He wasn’t as lucky in this world. After Tang Xi’s death, Ji Wu didn’t immediately regain his memories. He only remembered everything when he was lying in the coffin, about to sleep eternally with Tang Xi.

Tang Xi wisely didn’t ask more, he could tell it was something that made him angry.

In the second world, Duan Sifei was a refined scoundrel who frequently scared him.

He would even wear a white coat and gloves while bullying him, then claim he had dirtied them and needed to be punished.

Tang Xi angrily bit Ji Wu.

They then traveled to the third world.

In the third world, he was a pampered, useless little emperor, and his servant, General Nie Rong, was a fierce warrior.

“You treacherous minister!” Tang Xi reached out, trying to grab Ji Wu’s face and pull him away.

But his wrist was quickly caught, followed by a kiss on his ring finger.

Ji Wu smiled: “I’ve always supported Your Majesty from the beginning to the end, though sometimes I might slightly offend you.”

His voice had a husky tone, almost like Nie Rong’s, deliberately emphasizing the words “slightly offend,” which hinted at something flirtatious.

Just like Nie Rong, he was a rogue and rude character.

Tang Xi’s ears turned slightly red, and the memories of being pinned to the dragon throne came flooding back.

He was still fuming as they arrived in the fourth world.

In this world, his servant was a celestial master, and he was a tamed ghost.

Ji Wu chuckled: “I am your master.”

Tang Xi gritted his teeth: “Then why aren’t you as cold as Ji Fuqing?”

But he forgot that in this world, although Ji Fuqing was cold, he still liked to bully his little ghost.

In front of others, he was like fresh snow on a mountain, a detached celestial master beyond the mortal realm, but when it came to bullying his little ghost, he had his own ways.

So Ji Wu easily showed a cold expression just like Ji Fuqing, using that icy demeanor to press Tang Xi against the wall, kissing him again and again.

This world had already been a hundred years since their departure, but in the ghost-hunting families, Ji Fuqing was still revered as an ancestor.

Among the ghost hunters, there was a forbidden and dazzling love story—Ji Fuqing and his tamed ghost.

Unfortunately, Ji Fuqing was too possessive and left no portraits of Tang Xi, so future generations could only imagine how stunning the ghost was that had seduced the celestial master into the mortal world.

The fifth world was the apocalypse, and Tang Xi was a bit afraid to hear that civilization in this world had perished.

Fortunately, human civilization had not been wiped out. As the zombie king of this world, the poop scooper left humanity, who were in a rather bleak situation at the time, with the greatest gift.

Before leaving the world, he placed a mental imprint in every zombie’s mind, ensuring they could never gather into a zombie horde.

Because of this, the human base never faced another devastating blow.

When Tang Xi and Ji Wu returned, they were relieved to find that humanity still held advanced civilization in this world.

The entire world radiated with the vibrant vitality of survival after a disaster.

Lu Mang remained a hero of humanity, and the only comrade who knew his zombie identity kept it well hidden.

Tang Xi was even more unforgettable. He had left behind some of his blood samples at the time, not expecting that they would actually become the key to unlocking the apocalypse virus.

Tang Xi was quite surprised by this outcome, as he had asked 1551 many times before and received a positive answer that the original character’s blood could only ensure he had antibodies and wouldn’t become the key to saving the world.

Ji Wu sighed lightly: “Because you are the treasure of the world’s consciousness. Even when you went to other worlds, you were openly favored.”

Tang Xi extended his hand, holding his hand and smiling with curved eyes: “Now, I’m your treasure too!”

The sixth world.

This time, their identities were switched, and he became the noble master, while Morse was initially just his slave.

To take revenge for the time in the fourth world when Ji Fuqing bullied him into calling him “Master,” Tang Xi made the poop scooper call him “Master,” “Young Master,” and “Sir” many times in this world.

Though in the end, it was he who ended up crying.

Tang Xi still remembered how in this world, he would cling to the poop scooper every day, sucking his blood.

Because of the vampire’s “Bond,” he had developed admiration for the poop scooper.

However, he hid it very well.

Thinking of this, Tang Xi proudly wagged his tail.

Then he was promptly pinched.

Ji Wu chuckled lightly: “Master, let me serve you into sleep tonight…”

1551 skillfully opened the shield.

The Finale

They were still standing in the middle of the street, and Tang Xi felt too self-conscious under all the curious gazes.

But this time, just as Tang Xi lifted his foot to leave, Ji Wu firmly grasped his wrist.

Unlike Tang Xi, Ji Wu had no sense of embarrassment. He swept a cold gaze around at the onlookers, and in an instant, the crowd fell silent and averted their eyes.

“You didn’t finish your dessert earlier. I’ll take you to get something else,” Ji Wu said, his tone carrying the kind of persuasion one might use on a child.

Tang Xi happily nodded. “Okay! But just follow me—I have so many places I’ve always wanted to visit.”

Ji Wu hummed in acknowledgment. “On Earth, you call this ‘dating.’”

The moment he arrived in this world, he had absorbed its knowledge—he had done his homework thoroughly.

“We’ve met in our true forms, so we should date in our true forms too.”

No fabricated identities, no disguises.

Just Tang Xi and Ji Wu.

Tang Xi’s face flushed. “How do you say these things with a straight face?”

Despite his words, his eyes shone with unmistakable happiness.

He took Ji Wu to the park and grandly pulled out his own money to buy two buckets of caramel popcorn.

“Did you know? Back when I was just a little stray cat, I used to hide in this park. I always envied the kids who got to buy popcorn. But now… now I’m a cat who can eat popcorn too!”

As he ate, he led Ji Wu to the places where he used to hide.

“Look, across the street—that seafood restaurant. I tried going in once, but they kicked me out. But that day, a kind-hearted young lady gave me a fresh fish right on the sidewalk.”

“And over there, at that butcher shop near the market—I was so hungry once that I tried to steal just a tiny piece of meat. I thought I was doomed when they caught me. But the shop owner’s wife was so nice, she gave me a whole drumstick instead.”

Tang Xi counted on his fingers, listing all the kindnesses he had encountered while growing up.

What he once thought of as mere luck, he now realized it was the world’s way of loving him.

Ji Wu listened patiently, never interrupting. He hadn’t been able to be a part of the little cat’s past, but at least he could learn about it now.

He glanced up, lips curving slightly. He could feel the world’s affection for Tang Xi.

Tang Xi suddenly turned to him. “Thank you for making up for everything I missed in this world.”

At that moment, the warmth of the world’s consciousness surrounded them, fully accepting their union.

For the first time, Ji Wu felt the rejection he had always sensed from this world completely disappear.

Tang Xi, oblivious to this, only noticed Ji Wu suddenly reach out and ruffle his cat ears, messing up his sleek black hair.

The poop scooper is really mean and just loves to bully his cat.

They wandered around until the sun began to set. Finally, Tang Xi plopped down by the roadside and pouted.

“My feet hurt.”

Ji Wu raised a brow. “Squeamish.”

Still, he turned around and effortlessly hoisted Tang Xi onto his back. Tang Xi, delighted, kicked his feet playfully as Ji Wu carried him.

Ji Wu took him to their new home—leaving behind the cramped rental apartment.

The new house was almost identical to the grand mansion from their first world.

Tang Xi had no idea how he managed to move so quickly. Suspicious, he narrowed his eyes. “Where exactly did you get all this money?”

Ji Wu took his soft, pale hand and kissed it. “Don’t question your man.”

Even with all his memories restored, Ji Wu’s habit of being an affectionate, touchy-feely perv had only grown worse.

Tang Xi puffed out his cheeks in frustration. He had already planned how to work hard and support Ji Wu, but now? This!

Even if Ji Wu was stronger, wealthier—he was still the head of the household!

Determined to reclaim his authority, Tang Xi sat on Ji Wu’s lap, legs straddling him.

Because of their size difference, he ended up completely enveloped in Ji Wu’s embrace.

Trying to assert dominance, he flicked his fluffy tail against Ji Wu’s chin.

“Come on, tell me—why didn’t you show up to meet me sooner?”

“Do you know how scared I was after we were separated, when I left that world?”

The last part of Tang Xi’s sentence carried a hint of a pout, but in Ji Wu’s ears, it was filled with grievance.

Tang Xi nuzzled his black hair against Ji Wu’s firm chest, listening to the quickened heartbeat beneath it.

In the first two worlds, he hadn’t been sure whether the villain in every world would always be his poop scooper. So every time he was back in the system’s space, he was terrified.

Ji Wu kissed the reddened corners of his eyes. “Do you want to hear a story?”

A story?

Tang Xi tilted his head.

Ji Wu began, “At the beginning of all things, when the worlds first came into existence, a lonely judge emerged from the void. He was the very first Judge—the first pair of eyes to witness all of creation.”

“He had no emotions. He was tasked with overseeing the development of each world, stepping in only when their natural course went astray.”

Ji Wu’s grip on Tang Xi’s hand tightened slightly. “But as more and more worlds formed, eventually as vast as the starry river, he summoned many outstanding individuals from smaller worlds to become judges. He also created numerous systems, designed to travel across different worlds and recruit suitable individuals as taskers. And so, he became the Supreme Judge, distant and untouchable—still alone.”

Tang Xi’s tail slowly stopped swaying as he listened intently.

Ji Wu continued, “But from that moment on, his body started to deteriorate. The constant oversight of countless worlds caused him to absorb too much negative energy. Yet, if he didn’t do so, many worlds would collapse due to their own errors.”

“In the end, his entire being was nearly consumed by dark mist. The world consciousnesses began to reject him completely.”

It was obvious who the protagonist of this story was.

Tang Xi’s heart ached terribly. He clenched his fists, fuming, “But he became like that only because he was trying to save them!”

Ji Wu looked at his little cat, who was puffing up in distress for his sake, his eyes filled with amusement.

“That was all in the past,” he said softly. “Now, as long as you kiss me, I won’t feel bad anymore.”

Without hesitation, Tang Xi earnestly pecked the corner of Ji Wu’s lips. Just as he was about to pull away, Ji Wu held him in place and deepened the kiss.

Ji Wu finally bit his chubby cheek. Just as Tang Xi was about to lose his temper with the bite mark still on his face, Ji Wu quickly continued, “But then, one day, he discovered something strange…”

“A silly little cat was created by the world’s biased consciousness. Unlike me, who was despised by the world, he was practically born from its love and favoritism. That’s why, even though your existence clearly defies this world’s rules, you still managed to grow up safely here.”

Because from the very start, you were the world’s favorite.

Sure enough, Tang Xi instantly forgot his earlier frustration and continued listening intently. He even cheerfully chimed in, “That cat is me!”

Ji Wu took the chance to plant another kiss on him. “Smart boy.”

“You just called me silly a moment ago!” Tang Xi realized and, fuming, took a small bite at Ji Wu’s chest.

Ji Wu barely reacted to the faint pain, just letting out a deep chuckle before continuing, “So, the Judge sent a brand-new system to bring this silly little cat to other worlds to complete missions. In his eyes, rules were rules. There shouldn’t have been any sentient creatures like you in this world, so he defied the world’s consciousness and took the little cat away.”

“But in doing so, he completely lost control over himself. Because he had forcefully seized the world’s favored one, the negative energy within him finally reached its limit. To prevent himself from spiraling into total chaos, he had no choice but to cast his consciousness into the worlds.”

“Originally, he was meant to live as an ordinary person in each world and be healed by an ordinary life. But the world consciousness didn’t like him, so in every world, he was always destined to be a villain with a tragic end. And your mission just happened to be to save those villains.”

Unlike him, the world consciousness adored Tang Xi. No matter which world he traveled to, he would always change the fate of those who were originally meant to be forgotten.

And only Tang Xi—the world’s cherished one—could save him, the one the world had rejected.

No other tasker could have done it.

Tang Xi buried his face into Ji Wu’s chest again, mumbling, “Then… does that mean we can always find each other in every world…?”

Ji Wu: “The first time was fate. Every time after that… was my own doing.”

“…”

“Are you crying?”

Tang Xi sniffled. “No.”

Ji Wu gently patted his back. “Your tears are soaking my chest.”

“…That’s just my drool!” Ji Wu’s teasing completely derailed Tang Xi’s sorrow, dissipating most of his sadness.

Ji Wu didn’t expose the little cat’s need to save face. He simply stroked his back, smoothing his fur as if calming a ruffled kitten. “That’s why I didn’t dare to meet you before. I was afraid you’d be scared if you saw me covered in all that negative energy. It wasn’t until after the vampire world, when you had completely saved me, that I finally had the courage to kiss my treasure.”

Tang Xi suddenly wanted to cry again.

They had only been together for six worlds, but he had healed wounds that had been carved into Ji Wu for countless days and years before that.

Ji Wu was using the calmest words to confess his deepest love.

The atmosphere was just right. Ji Wu suddenly pulled a ring from his pocket and gently slipped it onto Tang Xi’s finger.

Tang Xi curiously touched the small, barely noticeable hole in the silver ring. Just as he was about to ask about it, a familiar, excited voice rang out—

[Host!!!]

Tang Xi’s eyes lit up.

“1551!?”

1551 was so excited it practically bounced up and down. [I missed you so much, wuwuwu!]

“I missed you too!” Tang Xi beamed.

1551 happily spun around Tang Xi, ready to pour out all of its bottled-up feelings. But before it could say another word, Supreme Judge suddenly kissed its host.

The next second, 1551 was forcefully locked back into a dark void.

In its final glimpse of the outside world, it saw the tall man flipping over and pressing his precious host beneath him.

1551: […]

Great. It was definitely going to be locked away for a long, long time this time…

Lu Congxing lived a normal eighteen years—until one day, he was suddenly told that he was actually a divine beast cub.

As a mixed-breed, his bloodline was highly unstable. Every time he woke up, he would find himself transformed into a different species.

The Bureau of Supernatural Affairs told him that the only way to stabilize his human form was to get physically close to a powerful, pureblooded demon.

Lu Congxing, a man of unshakable pride, flat-out refused.

He was someone who could punch an evil demon to death with his bare hands—how could he possibly rely on acting cute for a living? And with his lifelong nemesis, no less!

But that very night, as he stared at his own soft, furry paws—complete with pink, squishy toe beans that couldn’t even scratch a demon—he fell into deep contemplation.

A true warrior knows when to yield.

Without hesitation, Lu Congxing packed up his little bundle of belongings and moved in next door to his archenemy, He Zhouyan.

With great reluctance, he rolled onto his back and exposed his fluffy belly for petting.

. . . . .

As the last remaining Bai Ze in the world, He Zhouyan had always been terrible with animals.

Lately, however, it seemed like every strange little creature on the street was throwing itself at him.

Staring down at the furball once again sprawled at his feet, belly-up, He Zhouyan hesitated before tentatively reaching out a hand…

. . . . .

One day, Lu Congxing—having transformed into an injured little piglet—was found and taken home by He Zhouyan.

On the surface, he acted meek and well-behaved, but deep down, he was relentlessly roasting his lifelong rival, picking apart everything from his fashion sense to his personality.

What he didn’t know, however, was that as a Bai Ze, He Zhouyan had an unstable passive skill—the ability to hear the thoughts of all living creatures.

Gazing down at the tiny piglet in his arms, He Zhouyan smiled slowly and mused, “Hmm… I bet you’d make a nice soup.”

Lu Congxing, the piglet: !!!

The Little Kitten is Saving the Villain Again Today! – Chapter 98

Reunion

Returning to the small rental apartment, Tang Xi felt a sense of closure, as if everything had settled.

He reached up to touch the soft, furry cat ears on his head and the tail behind him that swayed unconsciously.

According to the system, now that he had obtained a permanent residence permit in this world, he was fully integrated into it.

The subconscious of everyone in this world had been altered—when people saw his cat ears and tail, they would only find them cute rather than strange.

Even if he accidentally transformed into a cat in front of others, they would instinctively forget that moment.

From now on, his world had no more hiding, no more fear of being taken to a research facility.

Tang Xi glanced at his phone to check the date. Due to the difference in time flow, although he had been away from this world for a long time, only six days had passed here. And today happened to be Sunday.

Thinking about his friends in this world, he quickly changed clothes and headed out.

He wandered aimlessly through the streets. For the first time, he walked openly with his cat ears exposed, and it felt surreal.

No matter how exciting the other worlds had been, this was the only one that gave him a true sense of peace.

The only thing he wasn’t used to was the absence of a certain voice that had always nagged at him.

If only 1551 could have come with him.

“Eh? Tang Xi?”

Hearing someone call his name, Tang Xi instinctively turned his head.

Only then did he realize that, without noticing, he had walked to the milk tea shop where he usually worked.

Luo Yuyun, a colleague who worked with him, waved excitedly when she saw him standing dazed at the entrance.

“You’re back from your trip?” She pulled him inside and had him sit down.

Tang Xi was a bit confused but still nodded instinctively. “Mm, I’m back.”

Luo Yuyun smiled warmly, always treating him like a big sister would. “Did you have fun?”

Tang Xi thought for a moment, then smiled softly. “Yes, I had a great time.”

Luo Yuyun nearly froze, then suddenly covered her face and let out an exaggerated scream. “Why do I feel like you’ve gotten even cuter?!”

Tang Xi frowned slightly and flicked his cat ears in protest. “More handsome.”

“Okay, okay, more handsome,” Luo Yuyun conceded while checking the shop’s records. “You have no idea—since you left, our sales have dropped. But at least the boss stopped coming around all the time, so my work got a lot easier.”

Tang Xi didn’t understand what his trip had to do with the boss coming or not.

A regular customer who was familiar with him joined in on the teasing. “Xiao Tang, you’re still on vacation, right? Shouldn’t you treat yourself to some cake as a customer?”

Normally, Tang Xi would shake his head vigorously and pout, insisting that he didn’t like cake.

But this time, he did something unexpected—he nodded and seriously studied the menu.

Luo Yuyun was surprised. “I thought you didn’t like it?”

Tang Xi hesitated for a moment before admitting shyly, “I changed my mind during my trip.”

Cake is YYDS1!

Back when he was a cat, he couldn’t taste the sweetness of cake and thought it was terrible. Even in his human form, he had resisted eating it. But unexpectedly, he had fallen in love with it in another world.

Not only that, but he also ordered a bunch of desserts and milk tea all at once, his tail swaying happily.

Luo Yuyun observed him thoughtfully. “Looks like you had some interesting experiences on your trip.”

He seemed like a completely different person—yet still as soft and adorable as ever.

Tang Xi lowered his head shyly and mumbled, “I also met someone interesting…”

Luo Yuyun didn’t catch that last part and was about to ask more when she was suddenly interrupted.

The very boss they had just mentioned appeared, dressed sharply in a suit.

However, he was slightly out of breath, as if he had rushed over after parking his car.

Luo Yuyun was surprised. She had only casually mentioned in the store’s small chat group that Tang Xi was back, yet the boss had shown up so quickly.

Their boss was a wealthy heir who had a company to inherit—this dessert shop was just a side project for fun.

Yet, because of Tang Xi, he took an unusual amount of interest in it.

His intentions were obvious, and even some of the regular customers had picked up on it.

Fearing for her bonus would be deducted, Luo Yuyun wisely returned to work, leaving the scene alone.

As for Tang Xi—well, maybe it was just his instinct as an employee, but he could never quite relax in front of his boss.

He timidly greeted, “Hello, Boss.”

Chu Qiaosi smiled at him. “You’re back. Did you enjoy your trip?”

It was almost the same question as before, but this time, Tang Xi only nodded a little awkwardly.

Chu Qiaosi seemed completely unfazed by his nervousness and reached out, intending to pull him aside. “Let’s sit over there.”

But before his hand could reach him, it grasped at nothing.

Tang Xi was suddenly pulled away by another pair of hands.

Stunned, he looked up—only to meet a pair of deep, dark eyes.

“Ji Wu.”

The name slipped from his lips instinctively—the name of his poop scooper.

He had never seen his human form before, yet in this moment, he knew without a doubt that this man was him.

Chu Qiaosi’s expression, which had been on the verge of anger, shifted instantly. He fixed a sharp gaze on the unfamiliar man who had appeared out of nowhere.

“You’re Tang Tang’s… friend?”

He deliberately used an overly affectionate tone, but Tang Xi, still in a daze, didn’t notice.

Neither of them looked at him. After what felt like a long time, Tang Xi finally murmured, “How did you find me so fast?”

Ji Wu had arrived in this world almost at the same time as he did.

His entire presence carried a chilling aura, as if he had come from a different era. Yet, his gaze when looking at Tang Xi was intensely warm—filled with a love no one else could understand.

“Mm, I couldn’t bear to make you wait,” Ji Wu said softly, lowering his head.

The tip of Tang Xi’s tail swayed non-stop, but he tried to act indifferent. “Oh.”

Ji Wu’s face was different from the villains he had encountered in previous worlds, yet when he looked closely, he could see traces of them.

It was as if someone had gathered all the best traits of those past villains and combined them with his own unique presence.

Tang Xi lowered his head, afraid that if he looked at his poop scooper’s face for another second, he might start crying out of sheer emotion.

Like a spoiled child finally being comforted, he hadn’t expected Ji Wu to come looking for him so quickly—without any hesitation.

Ji Wu shifted his hold from Tang Xi’s shoulders to his hand.

Tang Xi gently returned the grip, and his fluffy tail, following his heart’s desires, wrapped around Ji Wu.

At that moment, the shop seemed to thaw into a warm spring. The previously frozen atmosphere finally started to flow again.

Chu Qiaosi stared at their intertwined hands, barely managing to maintain his expression. His words came out sharper than he intended, tinged with jealousy. “Strange, I don’t recall Tang Tang ever mentioning you before.”

Tang Xi grinned sweetly. “I met him while traveling.”

Chu Qiaosi’s eyes gleamed. “Oh? So you’ve only known each other for six days?”

Ji Wu lowered his gaze. “Six worlds.”

He had spent countless years watching over this one precious treasure.

“What?” Chu Qiaosi hadn’t caught his words.

But Ji Wu had no intention of explaining. With practiced ease, he led Tang Xi to a seat.

Luo Yuyun, sensing the cold aura from Ji Wu’s glance, immediately rushed over and handed Tang Xi the cake he had ordered earlier.

“Thank you.” Tang Xi accepted it with feigned composure, but his eyes sparkled with excitement.

Ji Wu gazed at him with indulgence, picking up the fork and inserting it into the cake. “Eat.”

He even placed Tang Xi’s favorite strawberry cake right in front.

Tang Xi, usually polite and well-mannered, didn’t thank him. Instead, he seemed completely accustomed to being pampered, his expression full of trust.

Between them, their interaction was as effortless as breathing.

Luo Yuyun, who had worked with Tang Xi for so long, had never seen this side of him before. He was always so sensible.

Yet, this spoiled little expression somehow felt even more real.

Feeling slightly overwhelmed, Luo Yuyun quietly stepped away.

Chu Qiaosi watched them, as if staring at a world he could never belong to.

It made him restless.

Because at this moment, he suddenly realized—compared to Ji Wu, he had no advantage.

Not in looks, not in physique, not even in presence.

The only thing he could compete with was family background.

Chu Qiaosi had been the golden child since birth, and even in this situation, he refused to give up.

He walked over to Tang Xi and extended an invitation to dinner.

Tang Xi shook his head. “No need, but thank you.”

He even smiled at Chu Qiaosi, causing Ji Wu to darken with displeasure. Under the table, Ji Wu reached out and grasped Tang Xi’s cat tail, kneading it firmly from the base.

“Mm!”

Chu Qiaosi immediately asked, “What’s wrong? Are you feeling unwell?”

“N-No,” Tang Xi replied, shooting Ji Wu a glare, both annoyed and flustered.

Ji Wu eased up slightly, but still refused to let go of his tail.

Chu Qiaosi remained unaware of the under-the-table struggle. He reached into the breast pocket of his suit and handed Ji Wu a business card.

“This is my card.”

Ji Wu glanced at it once—and didn’t take it.

Tang Xi accepted the card on Ji Wu’s behalf, looking a little embarrassed. “Thank you, but Ji Wu… doesn’t have a business card.”

Chu Qiaosi felt an even deeper pang of bitterness.

Tang Xi’s attitude made it clear—he already saw Ji Wu as one of his own.

Still, Chu Qiaosi forced a magnanimous smile. “I don’t know what your friend does for a living, but maybe he’d be interested in joining our company.”

His poop scooper doesn’t even have legal status in this world. Where would he get a job?

Tang Xi found it amusing. In every past world, his poop scooper had always been someone powerful. But here? He was an illegal resident.

Good thing I can afford to take care of him. From today on, I’m the head of this household.

Before he could say anything, Ji Wu suddenly spoke.

“We’re not friends.”

Before anyone could react, he leaned in and pressed a kiss to the corner of Tang Xi’s lips—where a bit of cream had been left behind.

“We’re boyfriends.” He delivered the bombshell with an utterly calm expression.

Chu Qiaosi looked at them in utter disbelief.

Feeling a little guilty, Tang Xi quickly grabbed Ji Wu’s hand, muttered an apology, and bolted out the door with him.

In this world, same-sex relationships weren’t exactly the norm. He figured his sudden coming out had probably shocked his boss.

Trying to explain would only be more complicated. And since Tang Xi wasn’t great at handling awkward situations, by the time he processed everything, he had already dragged Ji Wu several streets away.

Panting, he finally stopped and leaned against Ji Wu for support.

Ji Wu reached out and tapped his forehead lightly. In an instant, Tang Xi’s breathlessness disappeared.

“So squeamish,” Ji Wu commented flatly.

Getting tired from just a short run—such a delicate little creature.

But this creature was his now. His treasure. And he would protect it well.

A treasure that could run away… meant he had to keep an even closer eye on it.

Having been under Ji Wu’s unwavering gaze from the start, Tang Xi finally snapped.

With a fierce little growl, he bit Ji Wu’s shoulder.

“What are you staring at?!”

Ji Wu didn’t answer. He simply wrapped his arms around Tang Xi and held him close.

“This time,” he murmured, “I was the one who found you.”

I don’t want to part with my little kitten—or with you all… QwQ

They were still standing in the middle of the street, and Tang Xi felt too self-conscious under all the curious gaze

The Little Kitten is Saving the Villain Again Today! – Chapter 97

Vampire End

Even from such a distance, the sounds of battle outside could still be heard clearly. It seemed humanity wasn’t entirely without hope.

The Church had spent a fortune preparing high-purity silver weapons for them, but for vampires of noble blood, even being pierced through the heart with silver wasn’t enough to guarantee death.

Hearing Tang Xi say that, 1551 actually started to worry—could the Child of Fate really be killed just like that?

Meanwhile, Tang Xi, carefree as ever, was playing with his own little tail.

He stood up, chasing his tail in circles, until he finally caught the fluffy thing.

Then, he bit down on it.

When Morse opened the hidden door, this was the scene that greeted him—

A fluffy, golden little dandelion foolishly biting its own tail. Upon seeing him, it let out a delighted “meow!”

The small tail slipped from its mouth, landing on the ground with a soft plop. The tip twitched happily.

Seeing Morse frozen in place, the little dandelion flapped the tiny wings on its back, trying hard to take off, and then—like a cannonball—launched itself straight into his arms.

Morse’s previously restrained expression was instantly replaced with overwhelming joy. He had imagined countless scenarios on the way here, but never had he expected this—Tang Xi throwing himself back into his arms without hesitation.

Catching the tiny kitten, Morse pressed a near-reverent kiss onto its soft, fluffy belly.

Tang Xi: …? Are you messing with me?

With his small paw, he unceremoniously smacked Morse’s handsome face. But before he could retract it, Morse caught the tiny paw and placed a kiss on its chubby little pad.

“Meow!” Stop that!

Reluctantly, Morse let him go, though the smile lingered on his face.

Tang Xi looked at that smile—why did it look so foolish? Where was the sinister aura he had when his vampire identity was first revealed?

To make communication easier, Tang Xi shifted back into human form.

“The Church has set its sights on this place. What do we do next?” He hooked an arm around Morse’s neck as he spoke.

Morse, however, only focused on two words: we.

His heart swelled with warmth.

At that moment, he truly felt as if his angel had fallen into his embrace.

Tang Xi repeated his question, and Morse gently stroked his head. “Don’t worry. I’m here.”

The fact that the Church had discovered this castle wasn’t the issue—the real problem was that they would keep coming back, over and over again.

Morse himself didn’t mind, but he didn’t want his newly turned little vampire to live in such an environment.

So, he spread his wings and scooped Tang Xi into his arms.

Tang Xi, caught off guard by the sudden princess carry, had no time to protest before Morse’s wings completely wrapped around him.

Then, Morse bent down and kissed him.

It was deep and consuming, leaving Tang Xi dazed and breathless. It took a long while before he recovered enough to glare at Morse. Huffing, he bit down on Morse’s neck in retaliation—just as Morse finally retracted his wings.

And just like that, their rather compromising position was laid bare for all to see.

At that exact moment, several servants rushed over, drawn by the commotion.

The moment they arrived, their eyes locked onto the entangled figures at the entrance of the manor.

He… he actually brought himself back.

Tang Xi’s eyes widened in surprise, his cat-like pupils growing even rounder.

A maid named Linda stared in shock before suddenly letting out a shriek: “Young Master! You’re back!”

She ran toward him but stopped abruptly when she caught Morse’s warning glance. Instead, she stood at a slight distance, tears welling up as her fingers trembled.

She wouldn’t have reacted this emotionally before, but after learning that the Young Master had been secretly providing free medical care and medicine for the sick servants, her impression of him had changed. Ever since the day he was taken by the vampires, she had been anxiously waiting for his return.

And now, he was finally back—only, how had his relationship with Morse…

Everyone knew that, before this, the Young Master’s favorite pastime had been tormenting that slave.

Linda widened her eyes but held her tongue. She had worked here long enough to know which words could be spoken and which should remain unsaid.

More and more servants gathered, making Tang Xi increasingly flustered. He squirmed, trying to get down.

Morse leaned in and whispered, “Young Master, you’re injured. Let me carry you back.”

Tang Xi immediately understood his real intention and shot him an annoyed glare.

Still, he said nothing and allowed himself to be carried—though his face burned with embarrassment. He buried his head, fingers clutching tightly onto the fabric of Morse’s chest, his soft fingertips reddening from the pressure.

It wasn’t long before rumors spread throughout the entire manor—how the slave Morse had bravely rescued the Duke from the vampires, and how the once prideful Young Master had finally acknowledged him.

Morse, full of amusement, gazed at Tang Xi. “Shall I have them turn this story into a ballad?”

“No way.” Just the thought made Tang Xi’s face flush even redder.

Morse sighed in mock disappointment, then playfully pinched Tang Xi’s chin. “Then… let’s do something else instead.”

This time, before Tang Xi could refuse, Morse silenced him in the most direct way possible.

They stayed in the manor peacefully for a few days—until Evans showed up.

And he wasn’t alone. He had brought Mitchell with him.

When they arrived, Tang Xi had been in the middle of feeding.

He always became a bit… possessive when he was drinking blood.

Tang Xi latched onto Morse’s neck and sucked.

Even when Evans barged in, Tang Xi didn’t lift his head. He remained nestled in Morse’s arms like a small beast, feeding.

Linda hurried in after him, apologizing hastily, “I’m sorry, Young Master. I couldn’t stop the Knight Commander.”

It was the first time she had seen the usually polite and cheerful Knight Commander look so terrifying—like something precious had been taken from him.

Morse waved his hand, signaling her to leave.

Throughout the entire scene, Linda didn’t question the eerie sight in the room. She simply withdrew without a word.

Morse had used the innate abilities of his bloodline to hypnotize everyone in the manor, making them oblivious to the strange occurrences around them.

Evans was in utter disbelief. “You… you were really turned.”

That day, he had saved Mitchell from the chaotic battle, and Mitchell had told him that Tang Xi had become a vampire.

He hadn’t believed it. So the moment he regained mobility, he rushed to the manor.

Tang Xi finally finished drinking and lifted his head, a trace of blood still at the corner of his mouth. Against his unnaturally pale skin, it stood out even more starkly.

He asked, “Are you here to capture me?”

To him, it was just an ordinary question. But to Evans, it felt as if an invisible force had clenched his heart, squeezing the air from his lungs.

Captured vampires had only one fate—death.

And as the Knight Commander, he couldn’t let any vampire go. Even if that vampire was his childhood friend—the very person he had sworn to protect.

But before he could answer, his vision blurred, and he collapsed.

Morse looked displeased. “So persistent.”

Tang Xi knew his poop scooper was jealous again. He quickly pressed down Morse’s hand, stopping him from unleashing more power. “Don’t kill him.”

Morse always listened to Tang Xi—except in bed.

So in the end, he didn’t go for the kill. Instead, he hypnotized Evans completely, making him forget Tang Xi ever existed.

For a long time, Tang Xi and Morse indulged in a life of decadence within the manor. With Grover gone, Morse no longer bothered to maintain the disguise he had once used to impersonate him.

He even enjoyed teasing Tang Xi in bed, mimicking a butler’s tone just to fluster him.

Until one day, he was kicked out of the room for two nights. After that, his excessive role-playing finally toned down.

. . . . .

Two hundred years later, Tang Xi returned to the system space.

One morning, his rescue value suddenly maxed out, and he was brought back.

This time, he didn’t feel any sadness. Because he knew—his poop scooper had returned too. And he knew that, in reality, his poop scooper had never stopped watching him.

1551 was even more anxious than he was, running around the system space frantically:

[Ahhh! Are you about to meet the Supreme Judge?!]

But Tang Xi was unexpectedly calm. He stood up and said, “Before that, I want to know—why did he keep avoiding me?”

Every time his poop scooper traveled between worlds, he lost his memories. Only Tang Xi remembered everything.

That feeling wasn’t exactly pleasant.

1551 sensed the shift in atmosphere and slowly floated down. [Are you… angry?]

Tang Xi twitched his ears, his face calm. “No.”

But the fur bristling on his tail completely betrayed him.

1551: [Oh.] …So he was angry.

Carefully drifting in front of Tang Xi, 1551 asked hesitantly, [Why are you suddenly so mad?]

Tang Xi’s face flushed.

1551 had been blocked out last night and had no idea what had happened.

It didn’t know how the poop scooper had tormented Tang Xi.

How he had bullied him. How, even when Tang Xi cried, he still wouldn’t stop.

This morning, Tang Xi had planned to settle the score properly.

But before he could, the rescue value maxed out, and he was yanked out of that world.

Hah.

Did that man really think he could just change identities and pretending last night never happened?

Tang Xi lazily curled up and started playing cat-matching game.

1551 was in a bit of a dilemma. The judge above it had been relentlessly poking at it, and just from the tone, it was clear how urgent the situation was.

But this little ancestor wasn’t in a hurry at all.

It wasn’t until they reached level ten that someone finally lost patience.

A judge personally descended into 1551’s system space, politely inviting Tang Xi to meet the Supreme Judge.

1551 was so overwhelmed with excitement that it nearly fainted.

After all, that was the one who governed countless worlds.

Unexpectedly, Tang Xi shook his head. His gaze remained focused on the cat-matching game, his only sign of unease being the slight twitching of his tail.

“Why won’t he come to see me?”

The Judge hesitated. He felt he had to say something to coax the little kitten back on his superior’s behalf.

The Judge replied, “It’s not that the Lord doesn’t want to see you, but rather, his true form has never left that space.”

Tang Xi’s left cat ear twitched. “He can’t leave?”

A moment’s distraction, and the cat-matching game ended in failure.

The Judge responded, “No, there’s no such restriction. It’s just that the Lord has always been there, overseeing all the worlds…”

For a moment, he found himself at a loss for words.

Tang Xi’s innocent question suddenly made him realize—there was indeed no reason for the Supreme Judge to remain in that space forever.

Yet, it had always been that way. No one knew when the Supreme Judge had come into existence, only that he had appeared alongside the first world and had been guarding it ever since.

It was as if it were some kind of unspoken rule, a law that everyone simply accepted.

In the end, the Judge said nothing more. His tone, however, was complicated as he added, “The Lord wishes to tell you the truth in person—why he didn’t come to you from the very beginning.”

Tang Xi set down his game console. “Oh.”

1551 brightened: [Are you going to see the Lord now!?] It was so excited that its voice cracked.

Tang Xi blinked. “No, I want to redeem my points.”

1551 instinctively switched to work mode: [Understood. Please select your wish. I will process the exchange after verifying your points.]

It suddenly had a bad thought.

[You’re not thinking of—!]

Tang Xi: “I want to go home. Back to my own world.”

1551: [Understood. I’ll process your application immediately and issue a permanent residency certificate.]

With a final [Application confirmed], the space fell into complete silence.

Vampire 11

At the banquet, there were delicate cakes made with extracted blood. Tang Xi was fed several pieces by Morse.

In the end, he held a small fish-shaped strawberry blood cake in his hands, nibbling on it quietly from the side.

As he ate, he leisurely played a cat-matching game with the system in his mind.

Since the bold man who had offended him earlier had been rejected, and Morse was now engaged in conversations with other vampires, no longer keeping an eye on him at all times, no one at the banquet dared to approach him.

Suddenly, a hesitant voice sounded from his right front side. “Are you very hungry?”

Tang Xi looked over in confusion. In his mind, 1551 exclaimed in surprise: [Isn’t this the original protagonist shou?]

It seemed to be a vassal of one of the vampires present.

As Tang Xi turned to face him, he finally got a full view of the black-haired young man.

Dressed in elegant and luxurious attire, compared to him, Tang Xi looked like a scruffy child who had just been playing with a ball on the streets.

A flicker of jealousy flashed across Mitchell’s face but quickly disappeared. He put on a friendly expression. “Oh, are you a vassal of a vampire as well?”

Some humans willingly followed vampires as living blood bags, whether through coercion or for their own purposes. Such individuals were known as vassals.

Vassals had only two possible fates—either they were played with until they were discarded, their bodies unable to withstand the blood loss, or they were eventually turned into vampires, gaining an almost immortal existence.

Unless a vassal was deeply cherished, vampires—who were inherently wicked—would rarely choose to turn them. Granting a vassal power also meant creating a new potential threat, even if there remained a hierarchy between them.

Since vampires couldn’t reproduce like humans, turning vassals was one of the few ways their race could expand.

Tang Xi tilted his head in thought. In a way, he truly was Morse’s vassal.

A reluctant vassal, to be precise.

So, he obediently nodded, his expression utterly innocent.

Mitchell felt an unexplainable surge of joy, pleased that this seemingly unattainable boy—who had an angelic face—was actually in the same position as him, just another vassal.

From his refined and delicate skin, Mitchell could tell that before becoming a vassal, this delicate young man must have been of noble birth. Perhaps he was even the child of a high-ranking aristocrat.

Feeling strangely satisfied, Mitchell reached out to pull Tang Xi along. However, when Tang Xi dodged his touch, he wasn’t offended. Instead, he simply smiled and pointed to a section of the banquet hall.

“You should come with me. That area has food prepared specifically for vassals. The high-end blood cakes you’re eating now are meant for the vampire lords. There are also many other human vassals over there.”

He assumed that Tang Xi was only eating the blood-infused cakes out of sheer hunger from mistreatment. However, the gratitude he expected never appeared on Tang Xi’s face.

Instead, Tang Xi looked confused, making him seem even more like a lost little lamb that had accidentally wandered into a den of wolves.

[1551, do I really not look like a vampire?]

1551 examined him carefully and gave an honest answer. [You really don’t.]

Perhaps it was due to the cat genes in his body. Even after battling with the vampire genes, they seemed to have ended up in a draw—each side taking half.

Tang Xi’s eyes remained round and adorable like a human’s, lacking the signature crimson hue of vampires. His fangs, while sharper, hadn’t grown noticeably longer. The only truly vampire-like feature was his pale skin.

But even that wasn’t the eerie, deathly white of vampires. Instead, it had a soft, healthy glow, as if he had been pampered and well cared for—making him look irresistibly touchable.

So it was perfectly reasonable for Mitchell, who had arrived late and missed much of the banquet, to mistake him for a fellow vassal.

After all, how could a soft, fluffy little kitten—turned vampire—still look so soft and completely devoid of the sharp edges a true vampire should have?

Tang Xi was unhappy. He bared his small, sharp tiger-like teeth at the person in front of him.

Using what he thought was a fierce and menacing tone, he declared, “I’m a vampire! I’m not like you people at all!”

Even after turning into a vampire, he still looked down on commoners—perfectly fitting the original character’s personality.

Tang Xi poked at the system. [1551, do I look scary?]

1551: [Uh…]

In reality, he looked incredibly adorable. Even though he tried his best to appear fierce, he resembled an angry little kitten with fluffed-up fur.

A kitten that could only hiss but wouldn’t even extend its claws.

Hearing the system’s affirmation, Tang Xi started feeling a little guilty. [Am I being too mean?]

But the original character’s personality had already been set in stone. There was no way he could apologize to the protagonist shou.

Mitchell stared at him in uncertainty, unable to process what was happening. Deep down, he refused to believe that Tang Xi was a vampire.

So, Tang Xi deliberately continued speaking in a “harsh” tone. “Just look at what you’re wearing. It should be obvious that we’re not on the same level. Where did you get the audacity to talk to me?”

However, with his soft voice and the way he scrunched his nose in displeasure, he looked more like he was acting spoiled than truly being harsh.

He was pure and innocent—who could bear to reprimand such a little kitten?

Their commotion finally caught the attention of Morse, who had been conversing with another vampire nearby.

Morse immediately walked over and asked in a low voice, “What’s wrong?”

Tang Xi didn’t want to seem like a tattletale, so he just shook his head, indicating that it was nothing.

But Morse didn’t believe him. Without hesitation, he bit his own fingertip and placed it into Tang Xi’s mouth.

Like an unreasonable but overly doting parent, Morse simply assumed that his little angel must have been frightened somehow.

And in his mind, this was the best way to comfort him.

The moment Tang Xi tasted the delicious blood, his eyes narrowed in satisfaction, and he instinctively suckled on Morse’s finger.

Morse gently patted his head with his free hand, allowing the greedy little vampire to cling to his entire arm. Once he confirmed that Tang Xi had calmed down, he lifted his gaze coldly and stared at Mitchell—the reckless human.

The vampire Morse had been speaking to earlier was still confused about what had happened but followed along anyway.

That was when his eyes met Mitchell’s, who looked completely panicked.

Fury erupted in the vampire’s chest as he stormed forward, grabbing Mitchell by the collar. “What do you think you’re doing?!” he demanded.

He hadn’t expected the troublemaker to be his own vassal. Even though he had arrived late, he had witnessed Morse’s practiced way of calming the little vampire down. There was no mistaking what had happened.

To avoid getting into trouble with Morse, it was better to act first and make it seem like he was taking responsibility. Maybe then, he could avoid getting implicated.

After all, he had been hoping to gain favor with this ancestor and boost his reputation in the royal city. But now, it seemed impossible.

The more he thought about it, the angrier he became. He suddenly raised his hand and slapped Mitchell hard across the face.

The sharp, crisp sound startled Tang Xi, who had been comfortably sucking on Morse’s finger. His misty eyes widened as he looked outside.

The vampire who had just struck Mitchell suddenly froze as if his throat had been seized.

As Tang Xi’s emotions fluctuated, a sweet scent of blood filled the air.

Because the other vampire was close enough to catch the scent, his eyes immediately turned red with hunger.

If Morse weren’t there, he probably would have snatched Tang Xi away on the spot and made him his own.

Meanwhile, Mitchell burst into tears. Ignoring the burning pain on his swollen cheek, he crawled to the vampire’s feet and begged for mercy.

Tang Xi was no longer a clueless newbie. Even without the original plot, he could roughly guess what was happening. Feeling a little sympathetic, he asked the system: [Isn’t this the part where the original protagonist’s love interest shows up to save him?]

1551: [Something like that.]

It sounded just like a cliche knight-saving-the-princess story—predictable yet romantic.

Tang Xi suddenly realized something. [Then that means Evans is about to show up, right?]

Before 1551 could respond, a commotion from outside interrupted them.

1551: [He’s here!]

Evans appeared on a white horse, followed by a thousand blood-soaked knights.

The moment he arrived, his eyes locked onto Tang Xi—who was nestled in Morse’s arms, looking utterly aggrieved.

“How dare you!” Evans was furious.

Unlike human banquets being crashed by vampires, this time, humans had crashed a vampire banquet. To the vampires, it was as if their food had willingly delivered itself to their doorstep.

Morse paid Evans no mind but still furrowed his brows and lowered his head. “Go now. Find the hidden passage in the rockery at the back garden and hide there. It leads to the outside world, but you just need to wait for me inside.”

He carefully pointed out the passage’s location, as if afraid Tang Xi wouldn’t find it.

Tang Xi knew his poop scooper too well and immediately sensed something was off. He grabbed Morse’s sleeve with wide, pleading eyes. “Aren’t you coming with me?”

Morse hadn’t expected this question. He froze for a moment, his instincts screaming at him to pull Tang Xi into his arms and promise that he would always stay by his side.

But he held back.

That passage led to the outside world. Ever since that day—when he’d turned Tang Xi out of jealousy—he had regretted it.

Vampires were inherently selfish creatures, yet for the first time, he was afraid.

Afraid that Tang Xi would resent him. Hate him.

So now, he was giving him a choice.

If Tang Xi stepped out of that passage, he could leave. He could return to the world that belonged to him.

Morse gave Tang Xi a gentle push, making sure he safely ran toward the back garden.

The rockery was easy to spot, and even a directionally challenged little kitten could find the passage without trouble.

Tang Xi obediently sat inside, never once glancing at the light that led to the outside world. Instead, he curled up into his original form, a small cat.

When boredom set in, he flicked his tail.

“Meow, meow, meow?”

[1551, when is my poop scooper coming back?]

1551 looked at him with exasperation. This foolish kitten hadn’t even realized that he now had the chance to escape.

Or rather, he had never even considered leaving Morse’s side.

By all logic, his character should have collapsed long ago, but the biased world consciousness simply turned a blind eye.

Suddenly, a thought struck Tang Xi, and he meowed softly, “Evans won’t be in trouble, will he?”

The original character’s childhood friend had always treated him well—he didn’t want anything bad to happen to him.

Humans already had slim chances of winning against vampires, let alone at a banquet filled with high-ranking vampires.

1551 snorted. [What are you even thinking? He’s the Child of Fate. There’s no way he’d go down that easily.]

Tang Xi reminded it, [But the current villain is being played by the Supreme Judge.]

Even without his memories, that terrifying presence remained.

1551: […Evans, in danger!]

The Little Kitten is Saving the Villain Again Today! – Chapter 95

Vampire 10

The tiny kitten, no bigger than the palm of a hand, sank into the pillow, meowing for a long while before finally flipping over. Tucking its little paws under its fluffy chest, it curled up snugly.

With big, innocent cat eyes, it gazed at Morse, who was still standing in place, as if silently questioning why he hadn’t left yet.

Morse waited for a while, expecting either a plea to stay or a cry for mercy, but neither came. Left with no choice, he left with a dark expression.

Tang Xi lazily flicked his tail and summoned the system.

[Where am I now?]

1551: [In Morse’s ancient castle. Judging by the looks of it, there are still some puppets working inside.]

The castle had remained hidden for a long time, but recently, its ancient formations had failed, causing it to reappear before the world. Morse had been taken away while he was in deep slumber inside the castle—along with the countless gold and silver treasures stored within.

Tang Xi blinked. [And what’s the poop scooper up to now?]

1551: [Settling scores with those greedy humans.]

That was only half the truth. While Morse did intend to deal with the humans, they were nothing more than ants—merely an afterthought.

His main goal was to purge the vampires who had grown too bold.

The vampires had a strict hierarchy. Though they instinctively obeyed vampires of purer lineage, loyalty was another matter entirely.

Their fear was etched into their very blood and bones, yet that didn’t stop some vampires from making their own moves. After all, they were a race born to plunder, as naturally as breathing and eating.

All the highborn vampires from the royal city and nearby towns had been summoned for a meeting. Some appeared anxious, while others were filled with fanaticism.

Some even brought along delicious human blood slaves or vassals in an attempt to curry favor with the ancestor.

But the moment Morse appeared, all their schemes came to an abrupt halt.

Without a doubt, he was the strongest vampire in history. No vampire could resist submitting to him. Even though none of those present were his direct progeny, they still willingly addressed him as “Father.”

The vampire ancestors were not limited to just one, but most had vanished after leaving behind countless descendants. When Morse emerged, he alarmed many vampire elders, but since they had little memory of this ancestor, they had clung to the hope that they could avoid acknowledging him.

Yet now, as they saw him in person, they were so overwhelmed that they nearly fainted.

The purer the vampire’s bloodline, the stronger the instinctive suppression they felt from him.

Those who had initially harbored rebellious thoughts immediately abandoned them. In the face of absolute power, they no longer dared to have a will of their own.

Not only was the vampire world in turmoil, but the human side was in chaos as well.

A noble banquet had been attacked by vampires, resulting in heavy casualties. A duke had even gone missing, prompting the king to order the church to retrieve him at all costs.

The matter was of grave importance, and the church faced unprecedented pressure.

Evans, clad in armor, his eyes cold and determined, pressed his fist against his heart before the grand cross of the church, swearing to exterminate every last vampire.

Regret weighed heavily on him. He regretted not keeping a closer watch on the boy that night.

In the panic of evacuating the fleeing crowd, he had lost sight of him.

A pampered aristocratic young master, taken by vampires—his fate was all too easy to imagine.

Evans didn’t dare dwell on it. He simply tightened his grip on the sword at his waist.

“Commander, look on the bright side. Remember the vampire corpse we found upstairs at the banquet hall? Maybe they’re too busy fighting among themselves to be draining blood right now,” someone beside him tried to console him.

“Commander, we have so many people. We will wipe them out, won’t we?” another sought reassurance from him.

Evans forced a strong, reassuring smile. “Of course.”

He couldn’t afford to show even the slightest trace of sorrow in front of others.

Too many eyes were on him. He represented the entire church—uncertainty was not an option.

Tang Xi was completely unaware of all this. He had played a game with the system for a while before falling asleep, even unconsciously shifting into his human form in his dreams.

He had no idea how dangerous that was. He simply nuzzled into the soft pillow, instinctively curling into the most comfortable sleeping position.

When Morse returned, this was the sight that greeted him.

The newborn little vampire lay sprawled on his bed, his fair waist exposed, exuding an air of complete vulnerability. Covered in his scent, he was waiting for him—waiting for his “father.”

Morse’s gaze darkened instantly. He stepped forward, scooping up the soft, sweet-smelling kitten into his arms.

Now that Tang Xi had become a vampire, he was even more prone to sleep. This time, he slept for an entire day. He only groggily woke up because, in his dream, a mischievous dog kept chasing him.

It tackled him to the ground and relentlessly licked his feet.

The dream was so vivid that it jolted him awake in fright.

But even after waking up, that strange sensation lingered. He let out a small, confused whimper—only to lower his head and see someone holding his foot.

Morse looked up at him with a smile, his voice gentle. “Young master.”

Tang Xi’s drowsiness vanished in an instant, replaced by sheer terror. He shrank his foot back.

But Morse didn’t let him escape. Instead, he looked troubled. “Do you not like me calling you that? Then perhaps I should call you ‘Master’ instead.”

The way he said it completely twisted the meaning.

This world’s poop scooper was way too perverted.

Tang Xi suddenly regretted everything. His toes curled slightly as he stammered, “I—I was wrong. I shouldn’t have bullied you back then. I promise I’ll never pick on slaves again. Please, let me go.”

He assumed Morse was reminding him of their past in the castle to punish him for all the teasing and trouble he had caused when Morse was just a slave.

Thinking back, he really had gone too far. He had set up difficult tasks for the slave Morse, and to “humiliate” him, he would often stick out his little foot to playfully kick him.

Back then, Morse would always look at his feet with a strange expression.

Maybe this was karma.

The more Tang Xi thought about it, the more distressed he became. His eyes welled up with tears, and his fluffy cat ears drooped pitifully.

Morse raised an eyebrow. “Do you truly realize your mistake?”

His plan had, quite unintentionally, succeeded. The little one was no longer lounging about carefreely—he had finally realized that he was in a wolf’s den.

Tang Xi nodded vigorously, his small nose turning red. “Yes, I really know I was wrong.”

Raised in luxury and pampered since birth, the young master was far too naive. He actually thought that admitting his mistake would earn him mercy.

But before he could breathe a sigh of relief, Morse’s sudden shift in demeanor frightened him once again.

Lowering his head respectfully, Morse adopted a respectful posture—but his words and actions were anything but obedient.

“Master, why are you suddenly speaking nonsense? Are you angry with me again? Did I do something wrong? Please, punish me just like you used to—kick me again.”

Morse slowly enunciated the word punish before suddenly grabbing his foot and pressing it against the burning heat beneath him.

So this was what he meant by punishment.

Tang Xi’s entire face flushed red, making him look utterly pitiful.

Through the thin fabric, the scorching heat against his sole made him instinctively pull back, but any struggle against a mature vampire was futile.

In the end, dazed and confused, he succumbed once more to Morse’s seductive whispers and deep, breathy murmurs. For a fleeting moment, he almost believed it—that the poop scooper was still a slave and that he himself was the wicked noble who tormented him.

It wasn’t until everything was over that he was cradled in Morse’s arms and rewarded with blood.

The moment Tang Xi caught the scent of blood, all his grievances were forgotten. He whimpered softly, latching onto a finger to sip.

But the wound was far too small. He had to suck harder, his eyes half-lidded in a dreamy haze.

Morse controlled the wound’s healing speed, gently patting his back as if coaxing a child to eat.

To him, newborn vampires were no different from fledglings.

With something delicious in his mouth, Tang Xi no longer cared about the earlier bullying. Like a fool, he let himself be taken advantage of again.

The vampire who had sworn to imprison him, afraid that his little vampire would grow bored, specially arranged a grand banquet just for him.

After all, this was the person he had chosen to spoil with flowers and treasures. He couldn’t bear to let him suffer even a little.

Human nobles always enjoyed hosting those tedious gatherings, but if it was something Tang Xi liked, Morse was more than willing to make the effort.

The vampires who had just been ruthlessly put in their place barely had time to tuck their tails before receiving invitations to the banquet.

No vampire dared to defy the summons. They had no choice but to dress in their finest and attend.

Tang Xi, who just wanted to be a salted fish: …

He allowed himself to be dressed in one exquisite outfit after another, purely to indulge his poop scooper’s twisted tastes.

Every single garment had been rushed to completion by the most renowned tailors at Morse’s command, adorned with enough priceless treasures to make anyone green with envy.

Yet, no matter how extravagant the attire, in Morse’s eyes, nothing was good enough for his delicate young master.

After much deliberation, he finally made a decision—swapping the agate brooch on Tang Xi’s chest for a priceless emerald. And before Tang Xi could get truly angry and throw a fit, Morse bit his own finger.

The moment the scent of blood hit him, Tang Xi was instantly pacified, obediently licking it clean.

Newborn vampires always had an insatiable thirst for fresh blood.

Couple that with his naturally gluttonous nature, and he was practically conditioned to behave as long as food was involved.

Docile and well-fed, he was led out and presented before everyone.

The entire hall erupted into astonished murmurs.

As the first and only vampire ever turned by Morse, Tang Xi’s bloodline surpassed that of every other vampire—Morse himself being the sole exception.

Even though he was just a newborn, young and inexperienced, the other vampires had no choice but to bow their heads before him in submission.

Some vampires, unwilling to give up, even went so far as to present pure, innocent human girls as tribute.

After all, that was a delicacy most vampires found irresistible.

Tang Xi locked eyes with the terrified girls and immediately caught the fear lurking in their gaze.

He grew furious, imperiously ordering the vampire to release them.

Vampires didn’t abide by human rules. Many turned humans into vampires simply to make them better lovers—regardless of the fact that, in a twisted way, the act also created an unbreakable familial bond.

That was exactly how this particular vampire saw Tang Xi.

But now, he was drenched in cold sweat.

No… something was off. This wasn’t just a simple act of indulgence.

Morse showed no displeasure at his “lover’s” overstepping of bounds. In fact, he even coaxed him with a piece of blood cake.

The vampire’s heart pounded in alarm. Before he could think, his instincts took over, and he dropped to his knees, admitting his mistake.

The girls were swiftly sent back. The remaining vampires exchanged wary glances, realizing that pushing their luck any further was a terrible idea. One by one, they submitted to Tang Xi without another word.

Meanwhile, 1551 had detected the original protagonist gong on his way to crash the party.

Watching Tang Xi happily enjoying himself at the banquet, 1551 hesitated, unsure of how to break the news.

Silly cat, someone’s coming to steal you away!

Vampire 9

Morse felt an unbearable ache in his heart. With a swift movement, he flipped over and pinned Tang Xi beneath him.

His cold fangs hovered near Tang Xi’s artery, revealing the ruthless side of his vampire nature.

A voice deep inside him roared, urging him to turn Tang Xi into one of his own—to claim him completely.

A vampire who undergoes their first embrace will develop an uncontrollable reverence for the one who turned them.

That way, he could keep Tang Xi forever. Humans were simply too fragile.

Just the thought of making his angel see only him, think of nothing else—certainly not that damned Evans—and depend on him entirely made Morse’s blood boil with excitement.

He licked a small area of Tang Xi’s skin, numbing it before carefully sinking his fangs in.

Tang Xi felt no pain at all. Instead, a tingling sensation spread through him, bringing an indescribable pleasure.

Instinctively, he pressed himself closer, as if offering himself up to Morse’s mouth.

Morse released him and lifted a drop of his own blood onto his fingertip.

“Would you like to be embraced by me?” Morse asked, his gaze locked onto Tang Xi’s, as solemn as if he were proposing marriage.

Dazed and lost in a fog of sensation, Tang Xi didn’t fully understand the question. He only had the urge to cling to his poop scooper, seeking comfort from the unbearable heat in his body.

Resting his face against Morse’s firm chest, he listened to the steady heartbeat within—though it was growing louder and more frantic by the second.

Morse’s Adam’s apple bobbed as he swallowed hard. He took Tang Xi’s silence as agreement.

Gently, he placed his fingertip against Tang Xi’s lips.

Tang Xi instinctively frowned at the taste of blood, but the familiar scent of his poop scooper soothed his hazy mind, filling him with an inexplicable sense of security.

Without thinking, he instinctively licked with his small tongue and swallowed.

Morse rewarded him with a kiss. “Good boy.”

The drop of heart’s blood slid down his throat, igniting a fire from his stomach that spread to his limbs.

He gently rubbed the cat ears to comfort him. “Sleep, it’ll be over soon.”

Tang Xi could no longer hold on and slowly closed his eyes.

When he woke up again, he had no idea how much time had passed. He was still nestled in Morse’s embrace.

“I…” He opened his mouth, then shut it again.

His throat was so hoarse it ached, and his stomach felt like he hadn’t eaten in three days. The overwhelming hunger tormented him.

Tang Xi felt a little scared.

[1551, don’t tell me I’ve been asleep for three days without eating?]

[Just one day.]

The intense hunger brought back memories of starving as a kitten. Since he couldn’t reveal his identity in human society and couldn’t find a job before turning eighteen, he often went hungry.

It wasn’t until he learned how to use his kitten form to trick people into feeding him that he finally escaped the days of starvation.

He was always fiercely protective of food—hunger was the one thing he feared most, the thing he could never accept.

So when Morse lifted his chin, he was met with a tear-streaked little face, eyes brimming with unshed drops.

Morse panicked instantly, his eyes filled with distress. “What’s wrong? Are you feeling unwell?”

Tang Xi kept crying, and being comforted by someone he trusted only made him feel more wronged.

Deep down, he understood that all this discomfort was caused by his poop scooper. He had always been independent in front of others, but when it came to his poop scooper, he became especially delicate.

Through his sobs, he whimpered about how miserable he felt.

Morse grew even more flustered, hating himself for letting jealousy cloud his judgment.

“Does something hurt?” he pressed.

Tang Xi sniffled, rubbing his belly. “I’m hungry.”

His clear, cat-like eyes, now teary, looked even softer—glistening and utterly irresistible.

Hearing this, Morse didn’t feel relieved at all. Instead, guilt washed over him. He brought his wrist to Tang Xi’s lips, coaxing him to open his mouth.

“I should have thought of this.”

Newly turned vampires were always ravenous. Tang Xi, already weak, had slept for an entire day, intensifying the hunger tenfold. While it wouldn’t kill him, it was pure torment.

By nature, a starving vampire would have long since lost control, turning violent and destructive. But his little cat was different—he was foolishly well-behaved, curling up in his arms to cry rather than giving in to instinct. His fangs had already emerged, yet he still hesitated to use them.

But the moment Morse placed his wrist in front of him, Tang Xi finally followed his instincts and bit down.

The newborn vampire knew nothing about proper feeding. He didn’t even numb the skin first—just latched on hurriedly.

Morse barely blinked as his wrist was pierced, gazing at Tang Xi with indulgence. He even pushed his hand forward, letting him drink more.

The blood of a vampire ancestor—just a single drop was enough to drive lower-level vampires mad with desire.

Just a single drop could elevate one’s bloodline.

Tang Xi clutched his entire wrist, drinking greedily, quickly becoming intoxicated.

Releasing his bite, he looked up at Morse with a dazed, silly grin. “1551, this blood tastes like wine.”

It was like rich red wine—smooth, not bitter, and dangerously addictive.

At least to him, it was so delicious it felt impossible to resist.

1551 nearly short-circuited in horror.

Luckily, because Tang Xi was slurring slightly, Morse only thought he was making little whimpering sounds, completely unaware that he was addressing someone by name.

As soon as Tang Xi let go, the bite marks on Morse’s wrist vanished instantly, not a single drop of blood spilled.

Morse gazed at him, his eyes dark with unreadable emotions. “Does it taste good?”

It was impossible to tell whether the desire was sparked by Tang Xi himself or by the aphrodisiac-like effect of the vampire saliva injected into him.

Still following his instincts, he lowered his head and accurately sealed the lips of the drunken chatterbox who had been intoxicated from drinking blood.

Lips and teeth tangled, soft tongues entwining in a dance.

Morse thoughtfully retracted his fangs, but the newly turned little vampire was too inexperienced to do the same. Though his fangs were small—almost pitiful compared to a normal vampire’s—they were still sharp. In the midst of the kiss, he accidentally nicked Morse’s lips, drawing blood.

The fresh blood smeared across their lips, only to be meticulously licked clean by the greedy little vampire.

Driven by the delicious taste, Tang Xi instinctively leaned in again, persistently licking the man’s cold lips in an attempt to get more.

Faced with such an eager little prey, Morse deepened the kiss, one tinged with the taste of blood.

Meanwhile, 1551, who had just managed to escape only to be dragged back in again: …

When Morse finally let go, Tang Xi was completely dazed. He even let out a soft, dissatisfied whimper.

Who could possibly resist a kitten acting spoiled?

Morse almost lost control, nearly slicing open his own vein to feed him. Fortunately, reason prevailed in the end.

“Be good. No more blood for today.”

High-energy blood required high-intensity consumption.

Drinking too much would be more of a burden than a benefit—though this wasn’t a concern with regular human blood.

But just the thought of his little vampire pressing his lips against someone else’s skin, licking another person’s neck, drinking that low-quality blood—Morse couldn’t suppress the violent surge in his heart.

That was absolutely out of the question. His vampire belonged to him, and he alone would spoil him. There was no need for him to drink that kind of blood meant only for sustenance.

Watching the little vampire struggle to digest, Morse made a noble decision—to help him.

He reached up and unfastened the buttons at his collar. Recalling the knowledge he had recently acquired, he decided it was time to put those serious discussions about the mysteries of the human body into practice.

Just as he gently adjusted the little vampire’s position in his arms, his blood surged, seeking an outlet. His fingers traced downward with agonizing slowness.

But just as they reached his waist, the warmth in his embrace suddenly disappeared.

The person who had just been in his arms was gone.

In his lap, a tiny kitten meowed at him instead.

It took Morse a full thirty seconds to stiffly lower his head, staring at his now empty palm, where all that remained was the lingering sensation of soft, delicate skin.

Tang Xi felt that his humanoid form wasn’t satifying enough, so he simply reverted to his original form. After all, his cat ears and tail had already been seen by his caretaker.

However, something felt different this time—his back felt strangely heavy.

Dazed, Tang Xi stood up, but his four little legs, unbalanced and unaccustomed to the change, tripped over each other. With a thud, he flopped right back down.

It was exactly as the saying went—each leg moving in its own direction.

“Meow meow meow?” What’s on my back?

Tang Xi looked up in alarm, asking his poop scooper. But to his surprise, the man had suddenly gone rigid.

Morse was utterly bewildered—this was the first time he’d encountered something like this.

Where’s my treasure? He had placed his precious little one right here—a soft, sweet-smelling baby—so where had it gone?

Since his poop scooper was clearly unreliable, Tang Xi had to figure it out himself. He struggled to turn his head and, to his shock, spotted a pair of small wings on his back.

Black, delicate little wings rested there, fluttering instinctively in response to his inner turmoil—spreading slightly before clumsily folding back in.

His initial fear faded, replaced by an innate curiosity. He let out a few excited meows, twirling in circles in an attempt to touch the tiny wings.

But his movements only resulted in another tumble. This time, however, he didn’t land on his legs—gentle hands caught him mid-fall.

Morse forcibly suppressed his desires and scooped up the little kitten, rubbing his soft belly.

“Meow!”

Tang Xi, displeased, extended a paw and batted at Morse’s face, trying to push him away.

Morse fell silent.

Did I turn him the wrong way?

Shouldn’t he be feeling admiration for me now? Shouldn’t he be clinging to me?

Unconvinced, Morse held the kitten at a distance, expecting him to grow anxious.

Instead, Tang Xi instinctively spread his tiny wings, flapped them erratically, and—somehow—actually managed to lift off.

Although his wings struggled to support his weight, he fluttered as fast as he could and managed to clumsily fly across the bed, diving into the blankets. Only the tip of his fluffy tail peeked out, flicking back and forth in playful defiance.

Morse held back his irritation. With a long reach, he pulled the mischievous kitten back into his arms.

Tang Xi adjusted easily, kneading his paws against Morse’s chest, purring contentedly as he made himself comfortable.

Frustrated by the heat stirring inside him, Morse pinched the kitten’s tiny wings, moving them slightly. “I’m going to imprison you.”

He had a feeling Tang Xi wasn’t grasping the situation at all.

The newly sprouted wings couldn’t retract yet, leaving them vulnerable to Morse’s grasp. The kitten had no choice but to endure the teasing.

Annoyed, Tang Xi flipped onto his back, exposing his fluffy belly while pinning his wings beneath him to keep them from being touched.

“Meow!” I know, you’re just talking about imprisonment.

He had been through so many worlds—nothing surprised him anymore. Besides, in his original form, there was no need to maintain any kind of persona. As long as he had a comfortable place to play, and his poop scooper continued to pamper him with good food and soft blankets, he was fine.

Why was this spoiled little young master reacting so indifferently?

Morse bared his sharp fangs, deciding it was time to reassert his dignity—as the ancestor of vampires and as the “father” of this newborn fledgling.

With that, he tossed the little kitten onto the plush pillow, stood up coldly, and declared, “I’m going out for a bit. Stay put and don’t even think about running away.”

The Little Kitten is Saving the Villain Again Today! – Chapter 93

Vampire 8

Tang Xi followed the system’s guidance and ran upstairs, choosing the most inconspicuous-looking room among the many available to hide in.

Only after entering did he realize he had hidden in a changing room.

The screams from downstairs never ceased, their shrill intensity making Tang Xi tremble.

Terrified, he opened a wardrobe door and slipped inside.

[This should be safe… right?]

He curled up into a small ball, shaking.

1551 reassured him, [Don’t worry, the vampires won’t come upstairs.]

But as soon as those words fell, an even closer scream rang out.

Then came the sound of someone crashing into the wall.

That person, stumbling in fear.

Tang Xi was hidding in the wardrobe but still couldn’t block out the noise.

Even their final pleas for mercy and agonized screams as they were caught were crystal clear.

Tang Xi was so terrified that he covered his mouth, afraid he would let out a whimper.

Forcing himself to suppress his fear, he asked the system what had happened to that person.

1551, surveying the gruesome corpse drained of blood outside, carefully chose its words: [It’s better if you don’t know.]

It had originally assumed that the vampire would leave after feeding, but unexpectedly, he walked straight in this direction.

As if he had always known someone was hiding here, he approached without hesitation.

Suddenly, the noises from downstairs fell silent, making the sound of boots stepping on the floor particularly distinct.

Each slow, deliberate footstep felt like it was landing directly on Tang Xi’s heart.

He kept asking the system in his mind: [Is a vampire coming? Is he?]

1551 was just as tense: [Breathe more quietly!]

Tang Xi held his breath.

Yet, the knocking still came.

Knock. Knock. Knock.

Tang Xi’s face crumpled in despair: [How does he know I’m hiding here?]

It was as if the vampire had pinpointed his exact location. After three polite yet ominous knocks, the door was pushed open.

Rather than a mere formality, it felt more like a calculated act of intimidation—cruelly toying with the helpless prey trembling inside.

He stepped into the room, his tone relaxed. “Did you know? The more terrified a normal human is, the worse their blood tastes. But you… you’re different. The more intense your emotions, the sweeter your scent becomes.”

Inside the wardrobe, Tang Xi felt his heart nearly stop. He prayed desperately that the door wouldn’t open.

But his prayers went unanswered.

A pale hand wrenched the wardrobe open, letting the candlelight spill inside.

Tang Xi gasped softly, shrinking further into the corner.

This vampire’s presence was entirely unfamiliar—he was not his poop scooper. Faced with a stranger, Tang Xi knew his fighting ability was likely so weak that he wouldn’t even have a chance to resist before being drained dry like a mere snack.

But the wardrobe was only so big. No matter how he tried to hide, escape was impossible. Those cold, pale hands seized his ankle and dragged him out.

The touched skin felt as if it were wrapped by a cold reptile, instantly turning red in a ring.

Tang Xi was terrified beyond words, yet he forced himself to put on a haughty act, imitating the original character. “If you dare lay a finger on me, Evans won’t let you off!”

The vampire, Damon, leaned in and inhaled deeply near Tang Xi’s neck, his voice laced with fascination: “Now I finally understand why Father is so interested in you. You smell… exquisite. From the moment I was downstairs, your scent has been impossible to ignore.”

It seemed the purer a vampire’s lineage, the more obsessed they were with the scent of blood.

Tang Xi had no idea how Morse had managed to restrain himself. Just inhaling the scent was nearly driving Damon mad.

Tang Xi’s body went rigid with fear. Glancing downward by accident, he caught sight of something he absolutely shouldn’t have. His mind went blank, and before he could stop it, heat rushed straight to his head.

His entire face flushed red.

Damon let out a low chuckle, completely unfazed. “Bloodlust and desire are inherently linked for vampires. Didn’t you know that?”

Tang Xi, eyes wide and brimming with shame and frustration, snapped back, “Why the hell would I know that?!”

Damon removed his top hat, then his mask, revealing a wickedly handsome face. “Looks like Father hasn’t started ‘training’ you yet. I suppose I’ll have to take his place—”

Before he could finish his sentence, he impatiently leaned in.

Tang Xi pushed against him with all his strength, stammering in panic, “Ev—Evans is the Knight Commander! He hunts vampires like you! If you don’t want to die, let me go!”

To his astonishment, Damon actually let him go.

Tang Xi dumbly looked up, only to see blood rapidly spreading across Damon’s chest.

Morse stood nearby, his face filled with disgust as he flicked the blood off his hand, then mercilessly flung Damon against the wall.

To him, the blood of both humans and vampires was equally repulsive.

Damon grimaced in pain, his mouth opening wide. “F-Father…”

There was no resentment in his heart. At first, he had only wanted to see what kind of person could catch the eye of the vampire ancestor. He never expected that just one glance would completely captivate him.

The scent of that blood was simply too sweet—so intoxicating that, even knowing his actions might cost him his life, he couldn’t resist following his instincts.

On his way here, he had fed on others, yet the moment he opened the wardrobe and caught that distinct, overwhelming sweetness, his eyes turned red.

It was like a poppy flower, but a thousand times sweeter.

Damon never managed to utter a complete sentence before he died completely, his eyes still locked onto Tang Xi.

Vampires were incredibly difficult to kill. The purer their bloodline, the closer they were to immortality. Even the Church had to go through great trouble to take one down.

But to Morse, they were nothing more than ants.

Without so much as a glance at the chaos below, he reached out, wrapped Tang Xi in his cloak, and picked him up.

The young master looked utterly petrified, and Morse’s heart ached at the sight.

Tang Xi was still struggling to process everything. He had thought Morse was left behind at the estate, never expecting him to suddenly appear now.

To make matters worse, in his moment of terror, his tail had instinctively emerged.

Now, it was tightly pressed against his waist, as if afraid the man would notice it.

A pair of enormous black wings unfurled behind Morse. Without sparing a glance at the chaos below, he carried his most precious treasure away, relief washing over him at having regained what was nearly lost.

In just a few fleeting moments, Tang Xi realized they had arrived somewhere unfamiliar.

He was still in shock over those massive wings, completely forgetting the accusations he had been ready to hurl at Morse.

1551 spoke up to explain: [Vampires are just bats, after all. Having wings is normal. But in this world, only those with pure bloodlines possess them.]

Tang Xi was momentarily stunned. [Oh.]

Suddenly, a sharp pain shot through his foot. Instinctively, he tried to pull it back, but failed.

Looking down, he saw Morse gently rubbing his ankle.

A fresh red mark, left behind by that vampire, stood out starkly against his pale skin.

Though he still didn’t understand the situation, the spoiled little cat couldn’t help but blurt out before thinking, “What are you doing?”

Morse looked up at him deeply, then lowered his head and pressed a kiss onto the mark. His tongue flicked out, wet and warm, tracing over the spot that someone else had tainted.

He didn’t stop until the unfamiliar scent was completely erased.

Like a beast eager to mark its territory, his breath came out hot and urgent against Tang Xi’s delicate skin.

Tang Xi whimpered and instinctively tried to kick him away with his other foot—only for Morse to grab that one too.

The position suddenly became dangerously intimate.

Morse leaned in, pressing down on him. “Why Evans?”

Tang Xi, already flushed with embarrassment, blanked out for a moment at the unexpected question.

Seeing his confusion, Morse clarified, his voice low and insistent. “Why, when you were in danger, did you only think of Evans? Why didn’t you call for me?”

Just the thought of it made Morse burn with jealousy.

He needed an answer.

Tang Xi’s eyes welled up with tears, his voice trembling. “I… I thought you were at the manor.”

Morse stilled.

In an instant, his rage cooled, and he reached out to wipe away Tang Xi’s tears.

He had frightened his little treasure.

Morse’s voice softened with guilt. “I’m sorry… It’s my fault. I should never take my eyes off you.”

His precious one had no idea who he really was—no idea that he was actually Grover.

And today, he must have been terrified.

The atmosphere grew thick, charged with an emotion Morse couldn’t name. Gently, he pulled Tang Xi into his embrace, planting soft kisses at the corners of his reddened eyes.

Finally, Tang Xi calmed down.

As his emotions settled, his fluffy cat tail began to sway unconsciously.

Morse’s eyes flickered with surprise. He could clearly feel something soft and furry brushing against the back of his hand.

Without a word, he reached down—and found something that shouldn’t be there.

Right at the base of Tang Xi’s spine… a tail.

Tang Xi, still busy playing with Morse’s dark wings, suddenly stiffened as a large hand grasped the root of his tail. A jolt of electricity shot through his body, making his waist go weak. He could only collapse helplessly into Morse’s arms.

Whimpering, he protested. “Let go…”

Morse didn’t just refuse—he tightened his grip, kneading the sensitive spot.

Leaning in close, his breath ghosted over Tang Xi’s ear as he whispered, “Young Master… what’s this, hmm?”

Tang Xi’s cheeks turned red, his eyes misty as he hesitantly answered, “It’s… just part of the costume.”

Morse paused for a moment, glancing down at the fluffy tail twitching in his hand. He gave the base another firm squeeze. “Oh?”

At that moment, Tang Xi’s ears popped out from his hair, twitching slightly in the air.

Even someone as ancient as the vampire ancestor had never seen such a sight. With a mix of curiosity and something more wicked, he reached out to trace the tips of Tang Xi’s trembling ears.

Knowing he had no way to hide it anymore, Tang Xi gave up entirely and bit down hard on Morse’s massive black wings.

Morse let him bite, not even flinching. Instead, he chuckled softly, worried he might hurt his little teeth. “Careful, don’t hurt yourself.”

Tang Xi bit down for a long time, only to leave behind a faint mark of saliva.

Feeling his pride as a man take a serious hit, Tang Xi grew even more frustrated. He pushed Morse down, straddling his waist, and glared at him.

“Why did you lie to me?” he demanded.

Morse retracted his wings, his lips curving into a teasing smirk. Sharp fangs peeked out as he asked, “How did I lie to you?”

“You… You’re a vampire!”

It seemed only now did Tang Xi fully realize that the man beneath him was a dangerous and ruthless creature. His body tensed, and he instinctively tried to escape.

But just as he lifted his hips to move away, two strong hands clamped down on his waist.

Morse smiled, his golden slit pupils gleaming. “I never lied to you. You just didn’t notice.”

Tang Xi froze, his tail giving a sharp flick in irritation before smacking Morse across the chest. “I’m not stupid!”

Seeing that Morse wasn’t angry, Tang Xi’s courage grew. His voice took on a slight whine as he pouted, “Let me go right now, or I’ll have Evans lock you up.”

Evans.

Again.

Morse’s pupils contracted, his gaze darkening with unrestrained murderous intent.

Vampire 7

The carriage moved along the road, bearing a conspicuous golden emblem.

Tang Xi was almost completely sunk into the luxurious cushions, lulled into drowsiness by the carriage’s jolting motion.

This time, he only brought Linda and “Grover” with him.

Pedestrians and street vendors quickly stepped aside as the carriage approached. Even the children who had been chasing each other around the street were swiftly called back by their parents.

Their parents reminded them, “This is a nobleman’s carriage. You must not get in its way.”

To keep himself from dozing off, Tang Xi lifted the small curtain and peeked outside.

His gaze met that of the children outside. Unlike the adults, who instinctively avoided eye contact, the children’s eyes were filled with pure curiosity.

They thought this older brother looked very handsome and couldn’t help but like him at first sight.

Tang Xi, however, was more interested in the candy in their hands. He called for the carriage to stop.

From outside, the driver, “Grover,” asked, “Young Master, is something wrong?”

Tang Xi glanced at the group of children beside the carriage. But the moment “Grover” turned his head to look as well, the children were so frightened that they burst into tears, crying loudly as they ran back to their parents.

Tang Xi, who had wanted to ask where they got the candy: …

He shot “Grover” a glare.

“Grover” felt a strange itch in his heart under that glare. Without thinking, he blurted out, “Do you want some candy?”

All three of them froze.

Tang Xi hadn’t expected his butler to ask such a question. Aside from his poop scooper, no one should have known about his love for sweets.

He met “Grover’s” gaze. The ever-loyal butler actually looked even more confused than he was.

Morse furrowed his brows deeply. He was baffled by his own words. After all, he wasn’t actually “Grover”—so how did he know that the young master liked candy?

It was just like the time he had captured the Fist Rabbit. Without thinking, he had instinctively prepared honey.

It was as if a strong intuition inside him told him exactly what Tang Xi liked.

He liked candy, small cakes, and meat. He was also delicate and pampered. If he were taken home and kept, he would need to be cared for meticulously.

As these thoughts ran through Morse’s mind, his face once again took on the perfect, polished smile of a butler.

The most surprised person, however, was Linda.

She distinctly remembered that the young master didn’t actually like candy all that much.

But since she already disliked this butler, she chose to stay silent.

Buying candy on the way to an auction sounded like something only a child would do. The children with their enticing candy had already run off, and Tang Xi’s rationality returned. After a brief internal struggle, he refused.

A responsible, mature cat wouldn’t do something so childish.

With a composed nod, he said, “Let’s go.”

“Grover” looked into his eyes—the way they shimmered with reluctant longing yet held back, as if he was feeling deeply wronged. And somehow… he understood him perfectly.

With a resigned sigh, he let go of the reins and pretended to check the time. “You are a Duke. Arriving too early at a Marquis’s auction would be inappropriate. Please allow me to step away and buy you some candy.”

With this convenient excuse, Tang Xi finally gave a “reluctant” nod. But his cat-like eyes sparkled brightly, unable to hide his anticipation.

Linda watched the exchange in shock, pinching her own thigh to keep a straight face.

There was something strangely harmonious between these two. Their conversation didn’t feel like that of a master and servant—rather, it resembled a pair of young lovers.

It was as if they had an invisible magnetic field that no one else could enter.

As soon as “Grover” turned his back to Tang Xi, however, his polite smile vanished instantly.

He could sense that someone was following him, a presence lurking in the shadows.

Dealing with them was secondary—his main priority was buying the candy.

Without stopping, he purchased the sweets and then turned into a secluded alley.

His voice turned cold. “Come out.”

“Father!”

A dark figure emerged, calling out to him excitedly.

“Grover’s” face gradually morphed back into Morse’s. His crimson slit pupils locked onto the vampire before him, devoid of any emotion.

This was an inferior bloodline. It was obvious at a glance that this vampire had once been human, turned by another vampire whose blood was far from pure.

Calling him “Father” was a term of respect in the vampire hierarchy—an honorific used for ancestors.

But in truth, they had no real connection. The only link between them was the ruthless suppression of bloodline superiority.

Morse’s voice was cold. “Do not interfere with me.”

Just that one short sentence was enough to make the lowly vampire before him cough up blood, spitting out two mouthfuls onto the ground.

Yet his gaze remained fanatical. “Father, I wish to serve you! Why do you bow before that human? Let me eliminate your burdens!”

To vampires, humans were categorized only by how good their blood tasted—there were no distinctions of nobility or commoners. After all, they were merely food.

But before he could say another word, his head suddenly burst apart, splattering blood everywhere.

Morse’s expression remained indifferent, as if none of it had anything to do with him.

With a bag of sweet-smelling candy in hand, “Grover” calmly stepped out of the alley.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the royal city, another vampire let out a sigh. He could feel the life force of the fledgling he had turned vanish.

This was the same vampire Morse had sent to attack the church in an attempt to create trouble for Evans.

“I’d like to see just what kind of human is worth all this effort.” He murmured, adjusting his black hat.

At his fingertips, a corner of a black card peeked out—an invitation.

Back at the carriage, Tang Xi complained, “You’re so slow.”

“Grover” immediately bowed in apology. “I’m sorry, Young Master.”

“Forget it. Just give me the candy.”

Tang Xi wasn’t the type to punish servants like the original character. Instead, he pouted playfully as he took the candy and started eating.

By the time they arrived at the auction house, half the bag had already been devoured without him even realizing it.

“Grover” pretended not to notice that the very person who had refused earlier now had his cheeks puffed out like a hamster. Instead, he set up the small step stool and helped Tang Xi down from the carriage.

As a maid, Linda wasn’t allowed to attend the banquet. She followed the other servants to a waiting room, ready to be summoned at any time.

The moment Tang Xi stepped into the auction hall, the guards at the entrance immediately announced his title in a booming voice.

In an instant, every eye in the room turned toward him.

The Duke was notoriously averse to socializing—his presence at such an event was incredibly rare.

Even the host, the marquis, hadn’t expected him to actually show up with an invitation.

The invitation had only been sent as a formality, but everyone here was a seasoned player in high society. They instantly adjusted their attitudes and warmly welcomed him.

Officially, the auction was for charity. In reality, no one cared where the money went. What truly mattered was the silent clash of power brewing beneath the surface.

Just then, Evans arrived—saving Tang Xi from the social entanglement.

As the Knight Commander of the Holy Church, Evans held immense authority in this circle. The moment he appeared and started talking to Tang Xi, the surrounding nobles tactfully withdrew.

“Why didn’t you bring a female companion?” Evans asked, glancing down at him.

Today, he wasn’t in his usual knight’s uniform but a noble’s formal attire. His golden hair shone brilliantly under the lights, making him stand out in the crowd.

Tang Xi shot him a look and huffed. “Didn’t you ditch yours too?”

Evans instantly picked up on his childhood friend’s sour mood. Rubbing his nose sheepishly, he put on an innocent expression. “I saw you were coming. What’s wrong? Did someone upset you again?”

Tang Xi had originally planned to mimic the original character’s usual sarcastic tone, but he overdid it and ended up sounding like a complaint instead. “Who else but our fearless and valiant Knight Commander?”

Evans was stunned for a moment before his ears turned red. “W-Why are you suddenly complimenting me?”

Tang Xi: […Is he really a knight commander?]

How did someone this clueless rise to such a high rank?

He held back the last part out of courtesy, but 1551 understood him perfectly.

The system could only offer a weary smile.

This foolish cat somehow had a way of making people incapable of thinking badly of him.

Tang Xi dropped the pretense and directly told Evans that the cross he had given him was completely useless.

Evans’ expression darkened, his voice tensing. “You encountered another vampire!?”

Just then, the auction began. His raised voice thankfully went unnoticed by the crowd.

Tang Xi tugged at his sleeve. “Keep it down. Do you want to start a panic?”

When the words vampire came from the mouth of the Knight Commander, it wasn’t just casual conversation—it carried the weight of bloodshed.

Frustrated, Evans ran his fingers through his golden hair, making his once-perfectly styled locks look a little disheveled.

He sighed, his voice quieter this time. “I’m sorry. I was too naive. If a vampire could enter your estate unnoticed, they couldn’t have been ordinary. Were you hurt?”

Tang Xi shook his head. “No.”

Evans’ heart ached even more.

In his eyes, his poor childhood friend was clearly just putting on a brave face to comfort him.

After all, who could come face-to-face with a vampire and walk away completely unscathed?

Evans had never thought this way before. But when he looked into Tang Xi’s round, cat-like eyes, a strong sense of responsibility rose within him.

He even began blaming himself for not protecting him properly in the past. They had grown up together, yet he had never realized how fragile this noble young master was.

If he had, perhaps Tang Xi wouldn’t have been bullied by vampires now.

Tang Xi, unaware of Evans’ internal turmoil, knew full well that the vampire in question was actually his own poop scooper.

But he couldn’t break character—he needed Evans’ help.

He had expected Evans to offer him another protective charm or some strategic advice. Instead, the knight thumped his chest and declared that he would personally move into the estate for the next few days.

Tang Xi couldn’t find a good excuse to refuse. To avoid ruining his cover, he reluctantly agreed.

Standing to the side, “Grover” watched the scene unfold, jealousy burning through him like a fire far worse than having a cross driven through his chest.

His grip tightened unconsciously—before he even realized it, the wine glass in his hand had shattered.

Dark red wine seeped into his sleeve.

Tang Xi frowned at him in disapproval. “How unsightly. You’re embarrassing me—go change.”

“Grover” smiled slightly. “Yes, Young Master.”

He turned around without hesitation, afraid that if he stayed any longer, his jealousy would drive him to do something irrational.

Evans didn’t notice that he had just brushed past the Grim Reaper. To make amends, he used his own money to bid at the auction in Tang Xi’s name.

Unintentionally, this pushed the atmosphere to its climax.

At that moment, chaos erupted.

A blood-drained corpse suddenly crashed onto the auction stage.

Before Tang Xi could react, his ears were filled with piercing screams.

The nobles completely lost their composure, shrieking in terror.

Evans had no sword on him, but he still shielded Tang Xi behind him.

“Mmm, such sweet blood.”

A vampire, wearing a top hat and a strange mask, slowly stepped forward.

He swept a mocking gaze over the panicked nobles before letting his eyes settle on Tang Xi.

Muttering to himself, he said, “No wonder Father liked you so much. Even I can’t resist.”

Even with the mask obscuring his face, Tang Xi instantly knew—this wasn’t his poop scooper.

Though the vampire hadn’t mentioned a name, his greedy gaze when speaking of sweet blood was unmistakably fixed on Tang Xi.

Evans misunderstood immediately. He assumed this vampire was the one who had been tormenting Tang Xi all along.

His fury was so intense that his golden hair seemed ready to stand on end.

He shoved Tang Xi away. “Run! I’ll handle this!”

Tang Xi instinctively bolted.

Fortunately, the system guided him upstairs, where there were many rooms—safer, at least for now.

Author’s note: At this moment, the poop scooper is absolutely losing his mind.

The Little Kitten is Saving the Villain Again Today! – Chapter 91

Vampire 6

Grover, who had returned to serve once more, looked at Tang Xi gently and asked if he needed a bath.

Without thinking, Tang Xi nodded blankly.

The original character’s castle had a massive bath, which Tang Xi quite liked.

He glanced around but didn’t see Morse anywhere. Feeling a little awkward, he asked, “Where’s that slave?”

Grover, who had always maintained a composed and reserved demeanor, was momentarily stunned by the question. Then, he suddenly lowered his head and chuckled. “Are you very concerned about him?”

The young master, who wasn’t particularly straightforward in nature, quickly added, “I don’t care! I just don’t want him sneaking off to rest in secret. It’s not concern.”

Inside, Grover felt as if a hundred little kittens were scratching at his heart.

Oh, so his little angel had been thinking about him.

Feeling unnatural, Tang Xi rubbed his nose, worried about breaking character. He didn’t dare ask any further.

For some reason, Grover’s smile seemed to deepen.

A butler dressed in a tailcoat politely carried in a set of fresh clothes, naturally following Tang Xi into the bathhouse.

Tang Xi took a couple of steps before realizing something felt off. Amid the swirling steam, he turned around.

Grover followed a few steps behind him, his expression as restrained as ever. The mist didn’t seem to obscure his gaze at all—it was fixed firmly on Tang Xi.

Tang Xi: …

Clearing his throat, he ordered, “Grover, put the clothes down and wait outside.”

Grover bowed. “Young Master, please allow me to assist you in bathing and changing.”

Tang Xi: “That won’t be necessary!”

The mist blurred his vision. Grover stared at Tang Xi’s slightly flushed, annoyed expression. Deep inside, his possessive desires ran rampant, but his face remained respectful as ever.

Without pushing further, he retreated outside and thoughtfully closed the door behind him.

With that, Tang Xi finally relaxed. He quickly stripped off the elaborate noble attire he was wearing.

His fair skin was immediately tinged red from the steam, even the delicate curves of his knees turning a soft pink.

Sinking into the water, he squinted his eyes like a contented kitten.

Then, out of nowhere, a rough, heavy breath echoed through the bathhouse.

Tang Xi jolted in shock, his wide, water-bright eyes darting around.

A chill crept up his spine.

It felt like… something was watching him.

Trembling, he tried to summon his system, only to realize that 1551 had automatically disabled itself the moment he entered the bath.

Left with no other choice, he called out shakily, “Grover?”

“I’m here, Young Master.”

Perhaps because of the distance, Grover’s voice sounded faint, even a little stiff.

Hearing his response, Tang Xi let out a small sigh of relief. As long as someone was standing guard outside, it should be fine.

Maybe that eerie feeling of being watched was just his imagination.

But in the next second, he let out a soft cry.

Someone was behind him—half-embracing him!

“You… What are you?” he asked, his voice trembling with fear.

The “person” behind him let out a cruel laugh and spoke in a strange, unrecognizable tone, “Haven’t you already figured that out today?”

“You… You’re a vampire! Ah!”

Tang Xi let out another scream, feeling something wet and warm against his earlobe, followed by a gentle suction.

The vampire, satisfied with teasing the trembling young master in his arms, chuckled. “Correct. Here’s your reward.”

He laughed softly. “You’re really bold, daring to bathe alone. If you had let your butler in, perhaps you wouldn’t have ended up being bullied by me.”

He deliberately guided Tang Xi’s thoughts, making the young master regret shutting his butler out just moments ago.

Tang Xi whimpered, curling up in embarrassment and sensitivity.

But no matter where he tried to escape, he was held tightly in place. When the vampire’s cold fangs finally pierced his vein, his pupils began to lose focus.

It felt like he was experiencing both ice and fire at once. His mind grew hazy, his entire body reacting strangely to the vampire’s saliva.

Just from having his blood sucked, his limbs had already gone weak.

With the last shred of clarity left in his mind, his gaze landed on the clothes above the bathtub. He reached out, attempting to grab the silver cross hidden within.

Just as his slender fingers stretched forward, another large hand enveloped his, fingers intertwining to restrain him completely.

In the steamy room, faint helpless whimpers escaped.

Though it hadn’t gone to the very last step, Tang Xi’s eyes still reddened with shame.

He stayed soaking in the hot water for a long time before finally changing into his nightwear and pushing open the door, feeling utterly wronged.

“Grover” was still standing at the doorway, his expression as composed as ever when he saw Tang Xi emerge.

Tang Xi eyed him suspiciously, stealing glances at him repeatedly.

When “Grover” escorted him back to his bedroom and was about to leave after closing the door, Tang Xi, filled with shame, called out to stop him.

His mind kept replaying the vampire’s bold words from the bathroom.

If he dismissed all the servants now and was left alone again, wouldn’t he be walking straight back into the tiger’s den?

“Grover” curled his lips slightly, but the moment he turned around, his face returned to its usual respectful expression.

Under his gaze, Tang Xi hesitated, too embarrassed to speak.

After all, asking someone to stay and keep watch was something only a scared child afraid of the dark would do.

Yet, Tang Xi always prided himself on being a responsible, independent adult cat.

Then again… even if “Grover” stayed, it would be useless. Hadn’t the bathroom already proven that?

So, in a commanding tone, he ordered “Grover” to bring Morse to him.

“Grover”: What kind of blessing is this?!

At first, upon hearing that his little angel was calling for someone else to keep watch, he almost couldn’t suppress his emotions. But when he realized that “someone else” was actually himself, his mood instantly lifted.

Morse, now in a great mood, quickly withdrew while still wearing someone else’s face, then returned moments later with his own, knocking on the door.

Tang Xi, who had just placed a silver cross under his pillow, was startled by his speed. Then, raising his voice in a spoiled, willful manner, he declared, “You don’t need to come in. Just stand guard outside tonight!”

The capricious young master was both scared and unwilling to let anyone know, so he came up with a compromise.

The sweet, honey-like fantasy in his mind disappeared, replaced by the cold, empty corridor in reality.

Morse chuckled softly, curling his fingers slightly.

He could still feel the lingering warmth from the bathroom on them.

Such a disobedient little angel—so timid, yet constantly testing his limits.

His round pupils narrowed into slits, glowing red in the darkness.

Inside the room, Tang Xi anxiously whispered to the system, fearing another attack from the vampire that night.

1551 comforted him and even played an animated show to distract him.

By the end of the episode, his mind was completely filled with “Makka Pakka, Akka Wakka, Mikka Makka, Moo!”

Maybe it was because his poop scooper was standing right outside the door that he felt safe, convinced that he wouldn’t be bullied by the vampire again. And so, he drifted off to sleep in peace.

But as the moon climbed high into the sky, the door was quietly opened.

1551 was inexplicably blocked out once again.

The vampire ancestor gazed down at the sleeping young master, his expression unreadable.

Gently, he gathered the boy into his arms, stroking his silky black hair.

In a deep, puzzled voice, he murmured, “Why don’t you ever listen?”

Still, the fact that Tang Xi chose Morse—a slave—over his butler Grover to keep watch amused the vampire.

Morse traced his lips over the boy’s before nipping at them, his teeth sinking in just enough to tease.

With such provocation, even someone unconscious should have woken up by now.

Tang Xi, however, didn’t open his eyes immediately. Instead, he squeezed them shut tighter, too afraid to face reality.

But his trembling, thick lashes betrayed him.

They were so long and full, and when they quivered, they looked utterly pitiful.

A damp kiss landed on his eyelid.

Morse pressed another soft peck at the corner of his eye. “If you don’t wake up, I’ll drink your blood.”

Terrified, Tang Xi’s eyes snapped open, meeting the glowing red ones staring at him in the dark.

Morse wore a mask, concealing everything except his eyes.

“I was just teasing,” the vampire whispered, rubbing against him lazily. “How could I bear to drink your blood twice in one day?”

Yet, despite his words, his fingers instinctively traced over the spot on Tang Xi’s neck where the bite should have been.

Tang Xi flinched, then finally summoned the courage to speak. “I… I’m very rich. I can give you jewels, gold coins—just don’t bully me anymore.”

His voice was soft, almost like a plea, filled with the kind of childish coquettishness that made Morse feel as if his heart had been soaked in honey.

His mind screamed that whatever his little angel said must be right, but his face remained as cold as ever.

Without a word, he lowered his head and bit down on the tender flesh of Tang Xi’s neck—not to drink, but with an unmistakable air of possession.

A silent rejection.

Tang Xi sniffled, his nose twitching in grievance.

Morse leaned in, pressing his lips to the tears at the corner of his eyes, tasting the salty warmth.

But suddenly, a burning pain erupted in his chest.

The once soft and trembling Tang Xi had mustered all his strength to plunge a silver cross straight into his heart.

Just as the cross barely pierced his skin, the blood that seeped out corroded it completely, leaving no trace behind.

Morse wasn’t surprised at all—he never believed this little thing would just sit there and accept its fate.

“What a pity. This thing is useless to me. Looks like someone fooled you.”

In reality, for an ordinary vampire, this object would have been deadly. But in front of Tang Xi, Morse deliberately smeared the reputation of that knight commander.

His eyes were filled with feigned pity, but his actions were far from gentle—he lifted Tang Xi’s face and kissed him fiercely.

. . . . .

Tang Xi threw a tantrum willfully, particularly toward Morse, who had kept watch last night.

He picked up a cup of milk and hurled it at Morse.

According to the original character’s temperament, the cup should have been smashed against Morse’s head. But Tang Xi couldn’t bring himself to do it, so instead, he changed the trajectory and aimed for Morse’s chest.

After last night, he was almost certain that the ill-tempered vampire was none other than his poop scooper.

While bullying him, the vampire had let slip a familiar sound, despite trying to hold back. And before leaving, he had the audacity to pinch Tang Xi’s butt with a smug arrogance, as if his disguise had been flawless.

Tang Xi was so furious that his ears nearly twitched in frustration, and the invisible tail behind him flicked impatiently.

He decided to ignore his poop scooper completely, making him pull weeds and catch rabbits in the manor’s field instead. Meanwhile, he summoned “Grover.”

1551: …Something doesn’t feel quite right.

But Tang Xi was too angry to notice anything amiss. He waved at “Grover,” who had rushed over from outside, and sent another servant to deliver a message to Evans, inviting him to the auction.

With a cold sneer, he said, “Evans actually dared to deceive me. That cross was completely useless.”

And to think he had even thanked him yesterday.

The more Tang Xi thought about it, the more infuriated he became. His perception of the knight commander grew increasingly suspicious.

“Grover” asked worriedly, “What happened to you last night?”

Tang Xi’s face turned suspiciously red. He glanced at the butler, judging him to be an innocent bystander.

He managed to stay rational and refrained from lashing out, brushing over the topic vaguely before shifting the conversation.

“Prepare the finest carriage. We’re going to the marquis’s auction together.”

Clenching his small fists in anger, Tang Xi resolved to properly settle the score with that deceitful knight commander.

Author’s Note: Everyone is bullying the little cat. So mean, so mean.

Tang Xi was practically sinking into the luxurious cushions, the
