The Boss’ White Moonlight is Resurrected – Chapter 90 Part 2

“So, who are you?”

After Shao Heng asked this way, both boys and girls of the other party, including the crew-cut boy, fell silent for a moment.

The girl widened her eyes in disbelief and spoke with complicated expressions, “So, you don’t even remember who we are?”

It was truly infuriating.

They had been classmates in junior high for at least a year, and these people were considered prominent figures in the class. Yet, he had no recollection whatsoever.

“You’re quite something, Shao Heng. You’re really pretentious. We know all about your family background, so you don’t have to stoop so low as to pretend not to recognize us. How strong is your ego?” The crew-cut boy felt that Shao Heng was doing it on purpose.

When they mentioned his family, Shao Heng’s face changed instantly. He reached out and grabbed the crew-cut boy’s shirt forcefully, surprisingly pulling him close, “Who do you think you are? Do you have the right to lecture me?”

The crew-cut boy also had his pride. He felt embarrassed by Shao Heng’s sudden action and became furious, “Shao Heng, let go of me, damn it!”

Before Shao Heng could do anything, he pushed the crew-cut boy away and casually grabbed a tissue from the table, wiping his hands in disgust.

“Shao Heng, you can keep pretending!” The crew-cut boy straightened his collar and was about to say more when he noticed a sexy and attractive woman approaching. She stood behind Shao Heng.

Wan Tong patted Shao Heng’s shoulder and asked softly, “A’Heng, what’s going on?”

In fact, she had been watching for a while and had a rough idea of what was happening. It was just kids fooling around.

The boys and girls on the other side were still young, and they didn’t think before they spoke. She was afraid they might provoke Shao Heng, so she came to intervene.

“It’s nothing.” Although Shao Heng said this, the hostility in his expression couldn’t be hidden.

“Alright then, your phone just rang a moment ago; it might be Sister Zhi. Do you want to call and check?”

Only then did Shao Heng return to his seat with Wan Tong.

Seeing the two of them back in their corner, the girl with long black hair pulled on the crew-cut boy’s arm, “Brother Yang, don’t get upset. Let’s sit down for now.”

The crew-cut boy glared in the direction of Shao Heng again, then sat down with an annoyed expression on his face, but the resentment in his heart couldn’t dissipate.

The other guys at the table also discreetly sized up Wan Tong, who was sitting across from Shao Heng, and couldn’t help but start gossiping.

“I had a friend before who was classmates with Shao Heng. Don’t be fooled by how smart Shao Heng used to be; his grades were terrible, he often handed in blank test papers. He has a strict older sister who even prevented him from attending the graduation thanksgiving banquet, but that girl isn’t really his sister.”

“Shao Heng is indeed Shao Heng. Could that girl be his girlfriend? She looks really… tsk, I’m truly envious of him.”

“That girl looks like a rich beauty. Could she be financially supporting Shao Heng?”

“Can’t be, he just graduated from high school…”

“Oh my, but if the target is such a rich beauty, I’d be willing too.”

“Come on, your face can’t compare to even half of Shao Heng’s, and you have no skills in bed. How could you conquer a rich beauty?”

“Hehehe…”

The guys at the table laughed lecherously, making the black-haired girl feel somewhat embarrassed. The crew-cut boy tapped the table, and everyone quieted down.

“Shao Heng turned out like this, and you still envy him? Is that all you’ve got?”

“That’s right, Brother Yang has good grades; he can go to any university he wants. His family is waiting for him to inherit. Shao Heng can’t compare to Brother Yang at all.” Someone flattered.

The crew-cut boy felt relieved in his heart, but when he looked over at Shao Heng’s direction again, his gaze couldn’t help but stay on Wan Tong.

He needed to find an opportunity to figure out who that woman was and make sure Shao Heng got a lesson.

Li Zhi took the bus, although it was only a few stops, but due to traffic, she arrived a bit late. Wan Tong and Shao Heng didn’t wait for Li Zhi and went straight to eat.

After Li Zhi sat down, she was naturally a bit unhappy but didn’t show it. She just inquired about the plans for today from the two of them.

Knowing that Shao Heng had accompanied Wan Tong to the hospital and then went shopping with Wan Tong, Li Zhi’s hand holding the chopsticks began to tremble.

She glanced at the various bags by Wan Tong’s side, and there was even an underwear brand among them!

This cunning woman, she must be so calculating to have a young and innocent boy like Shao Heng accompany her to buy underwear; she’s definitely trying to seduce him!

Li Zhi won’t let her succeed!

Li Zhi has raised Shao Heng for so many years; there’s no way she’ll concede at this moment.

The three of them took a taxi back to the apartment.

Li Zhi went to take a shower first, deliberately hanging her washed underwear inside without bringing them out.

Little did she know that after Shao Heng went in, he came out with a frown, “Sister Zhi, you didn’t take your clothes.”

Li Zhi walked over, glanced at his expression, which showed no discomfort whatsoever, and smiled. She went inside to get her things and then came out.

Shao Heng remained indifferent, without any apparent thoughts.

Shao Heng had never initiated a romantic relationship in the world’s original plot. Moreover, he had lived under her watchful eyes for so many years, and she had not noticed any special affection from him towards her or any other girls. So, she didn’t know how to make a move now.

Shao Heng locked the door and an image suddenly crossed his mind.

He remembered the delicate and fair fingers Wan Tong had when she held the bra in the afternoon, he remembered her bra size, he remembered the mention of her friend helping her apply body lotion at the hospital, he remembered the feeling of her lightness and softness when he carried her downstairs, he remembered every glance from her… he remembered the first time he saw her, the crimson sunset and the smile on her face.

While Shao Heng was showering, Li Zhi took out a bottle of red wine she had bought and poured two glasses.

Shao Heng was usually very meticulous, but his shower time never exceeded ten minutes. However, today he had been in there for nearly half an hour, and the sound of water had not stopped.

When Li Zhi grew impatient waiting, Shao Heng finally came out.

“A’Heng, I bought a new bottle of red wine. Come and taste it for me, okay? If it’s good, I’ll give two bottles to my colleague who’s getting married next month.” Li Zhi held a glass of red wine and approached him.

It may have been cultivated from a young age. Shao Heng had good taste in every aspect and had some knowledge of red wine.

As soon as Shao Heng picked up the glass, he smelled a pungent alcoholic odor. This kind of low-quality wine, he didn’t need to taste to know it wasn’t good.

“The wine isn’t good, don’t buy it,” he said directly without taking a sip.

“You should try it first,” Li Zhi replied. “This wine is quite expensive; how could it be bad?”

Shao Heng could only take a sip and came to the same conclusion in the end.

He didn’t like drinking because he got drunk easily, and this red wine seemed to have a high alcohol content, unlike what he had tasted before.

When he was about to pour the wine out, Li Zhi took the glass from him and said, “Don’t waste it.”

Watching her finish the glass, Shao Heng didn’t say anything and went back to his own room.

He checked the time, then opened his somewhat old computer.

Wan Tong had already started her live stream, applying lipstick in front of the camera.

Shao Heng brought out a box of colored pencils, took out a sheet of drawing paper, and with long fingers holding a pencil, he started drawing smooth lines on the paper.

After a while, the live stream was still ongoing, and he locked the finished drawing in a drawer. When he looked up again, he found that the internet had disconnected.

No matter what he tried, he couldn’t reconnect to the internet, so he had to leave his room and fiddle with the router next to the television.

“A’Heng…” Suddenly, a body pressed against him from behind.

Shao Heng’s hand trembled, and he quickly pushed the person away. “Sister Zhi, what are you doing?”

In the living room, only the lowest wattage incandescent light was on, casting a dim light. Li Zhi was wearing loose pajamas, revealing one of her shoulders. Her hair was disheveled, and her face was flushed, seemingly drunk.

“A’Heng, I have a headache…” Li Zhi reached out and held onto Shao Heng’s arm, her voice slurred.

Shao Heng wanted to push her away but was afraid she might bump into furniture, so he steadied himself. “Sister Zhi, you’re drunk. Go rest.”

As Wan Tong’s livestream was about to end, she suddenly heard a notification from Shishi, [Tongtong, the Raider used a charm bonus…]

Wan Tong : ???

[Why don’t I have the charm bonus skill?]

[You do, but it requires points to unlock.]

Wan Tong : “…”

She really didn’t know because she didn’t pay much attention to skills that required points to unlock. She had been using the points to upgrade Shishi and monitor the Raiders, which made her feel more secure.

Wan Tong pouted her lips, freshly applied with a new shade of lipstick, blew a big kiss towards the camera, and ended her livestream with a few words. Then, she quickly left the room.

At a time like this, what good could Li Zhi achieve with a charm bonus?

*Ding dong*

When the doorbell rang, Li Zhi subconsciously reached for Shao Heng’s waist, but he pushed her away, causing her to fall onto the couch.

Shao Heng quickly walked to the entrance, adjusted his clothes, and then opened the door.

It was indeed Wan Tong standing outside.

“What’s up?” Shao Heng gripped the door handle, raised his chin, and looked down with an expression that said, “I’m in a bad mood, so speak up quickly.”

Wan Tong came out in a hurry, hadn’t thought of a reason yet, and could only come up with an impromptu excuse, “A’Heng, are you hungry? Do you want some late-night snacks?”

Shao Heng had indigestion from the hotpot they had for dinner, but looking at her sparkling eyes, he couldn’t express his true thoughts. He clenched his lips and managed to utter one word, “Hungry.”

So, Wan Tong successfully brought Shao Heng back to her place.

Li Zhi, pretending to be drunk in the living room, had heard their entire conversation. After hearing the door close, she angrily stood up from the couch, clenched her fists, and pounded the sofa a few times.

Through gritted teeth, she muttered a name, “Gu Wantong!”

After some thought, she walked into Shao Heng’s room.

The computer was still on, connected to the internet, so the webpage was still on Wan Tong’s livestream page.

So, Shao Heng had indeed fallen for Gu Wantong!
