Quick Transmigration: Breaking Up That Official CP – Chapter 8

Chapter 8 – Campus Arc: A Glamorous Romance – The Cinderella Sweetheart’s Endless Love (8)

Hudson wrapped Bai Tang in a bath towel, his slightly rough fingers unintentionally brushing over the spot Tian Lingxue had touched, rubbing against the soft skin. “It’s a bit chilly in the morning. You should be more careful.”

Bai Tang shivered involuntarily at the contact, goosebumps spreading across his skin. His face flushed red as he puffed out his cheeks and nodded. Only then did Hudson let him go into the bathroom.

About ten minutes later, Bai Tang emerged, neatly dressed. Hudson handed him a nut-filled bread roll and a bottle of milk, then picked up his books, opened the door, and took Bai Tang’s hand, leading him outside.

Tian Lingxue’s eyes fell on their clasped hands, and an inexplicable sense of danger welled up inside her.

For so many years, she had fended off countless admirers trying to snatch away her little squirrel. Now, the moment they go abroad, is he really going to be taken away by a big bad wolf?

Having been in the DM (dominance-submission) community for years—and after blocking countless love-struck boys and girls from Bai Tang—she could immediately recognize the look in Hudson’s eyes and his actions. She knew exactly what they meant.

Bai Tang, however, was too pure. He never thought about anything beyond daily life, investing all his energy into food.

And as for Hudson, who had never been romantically interested in anyone before, he might not have fully realized his feelings yet. But one thing was certain—Bai Tang was special to him.

Tian Lingxue had no intention of being friendly toward the “enemy” trying to snatch away her adorable little squirrel.

With a perfectly practiced, eight-tooth smile, she wedged herself between Hudson and Bai Tang, forcing them to let go of each other’s hands.

“Tang Tang, hurry up, or there won’t be any seats left in the library.” Tian Lingxue subtly squeezed herself between the two, linking arms with Bai Tang. She then turned to Hudson and said sweetly, “Thank you, President, for escorting my dear Tang Tang out.”

Hudson narrowed his eyes at their intertwined arms, noticing how Tian Lingxue deliberately emphasized “my dear.” He already didn’t have a good impression of her, and now she was deliberately coming between them.

“It’s no trouble. I promised Tang Tang I’d tutor him, so I’ll be joining you at the library today.” Hudson stated expressionlessly, making Tian Lingxue grit her teeth in frustration.

Still lingering, huh? Fine. Let’s see who wins.

“Then I’ll have to trouble you, President.” Tian Lingxue responded with a sweet smile.

Bai Tang couldn’t help but admire the magnetic pull between the male and female leads.

Even though the plot wasn’t unfolding exactly as he had seen before, they were still naturally drawn to each other. Look at how animated their conversation was! He couldn’t afford to fail his mission—he had to make sure they got together, no matter what!

By the time they arrived at the library, the male and female leads were already in an intense intellectual duel. Bai Tang marveled at how, despite this being only their second meeting, they were already deeply engaged with each other. The influence of the plot was truly powerful.

Since he couldn’t understand the material on his own anyway, Bai Tang decided to help nudge Hudson and Tian Lingxue’s relationship along. He pulled out his phone, which had been half-charged by a power bank, and quickly found Owen’s contact to send him a message.

When Bai Tang looked up, he saw the two leads in “friendly interaction.”

“President, I don’t understand this question. Can you explain it to me?”

“President, what does this mean?”

“President, this part…”

Hudson pressed his lips together, his face darkened slightly, but he still patiently explained each question to Tian Lingxue.

Hah, you dare set your sights on my Xiao Tang Tang? Just wait. Tian Lingxue mentally noted this down for future revenge.

“Owen, over here!” Bai Tang spotted Owen scanning the entrance and waved. Owen beamed and flashed a dazzling smile.

Both Hudson and Tian Lingxue felt a sinking sensation in their chests at the same time.

Right in front of them, Owen strode forward and pulled Bai Tang into a big hug—

—Only to be intercepted by Hudson, while Tian Lingxue instinctively shielded Bai Tang like a protective mother hen.

Owen pouted in grievance. “Hey, I haven’t seen Xiao Tang Tang in so long. What’s wrong with a hug?~”

Ugh! A grown man acting all coy like that—it was enough to make anyone’s skin crawl.

  1. I love this! I didn’t know what to expect from the OGFL, but I really like that she seems protective and actually does like her friend (MC). She doesn’t instantly fall for the ML. So unexpected yet so amazing. Hope she also gets her happy ending, she’s really likeable
