Chapter 275- Gloomy Blood Servant vs. Obsessive Vampire Prince (08)

So what the woman said was true; it turned out that the young man had only directly fed on his blood. For some reason, upon learning this news, a wave of joy surged in the man’s heart.

However, Huangfu Yu still maintained a blank expression. As he looked at the woman in front of him, he knew she had not come with good intentions.

Sure enough, Julia continued to speak while crushing the rose in her hand, the bright red juice flowing over her fingers. Right in front of Huangfu Yu, she licked the juice off her fingertips, appearing utterly seductive.

Julia leaned in closer to Huangfu Yu, licking her lips and teasingly said, “You really have a handsome face. Since the master likes it, I’d love to have a taste too.”

After saying this, Julia reached out to touch Huangfu Yu’s cheek, but he quickly dodged away.

Seeing Huangfu Yu’s reaction, Julia’s face showed a moment of surprise. As a vampire, she possessed her own innate talents, and her allure was difficult to resist, even for high-level vampires, let alone ordinary humans.

A powerful being like her master was naturally hard to enchant, but how could an ordinary human in front of her be completely unaffected by her charm?

Julia’s pride had been bolstered by the years of admiration she received; everyone knew of her longing for her master. Yet, no one dared to speak out, as there were no other vampire women in the Malkavian clan more exceptional than her.

If her master had remained alone, it would have been one thing, but now that he had finally awakened, a mere human blood servant had suddenly appeared by his side.

What was so special about this lowly human? Even if he had an appealing appearance, he was merely their food. Even if he were to be transformed into a vampire, his rank and abilities could not compare to hers.

Even if Julia currently felt little affection for Mu Jin, she still envied the human before her. Most of the lower-tier vampires and servants in the manor were ardent fans of Mu Jin, and there were countless who felt jealous of Huangfu Yu’s circumstances.

Thus, when they saw Julia verbally provoking Huangfu Yu, none of them stepped in to stop her. After all, Julia was one of the most influential figures in the manor.

As Julia looked at Huangfu Yu’s calm demeanor, her anger grew. She didn’t dare to simply grab him or kill him, as doing so would clearly challenge her master’s authority, and she knew Mu Jin would not let her off easily.

She had initially hoped to entice Huangfu Yu to come over to her and obey her wishes, satisfying her vanity. However, he seemed utterly ungrateful.

While Julia’s anger mounted, her rationality gradually slipped away, yet she still firmly remembered her identity. She knew that if she grabbed him and directly fed on his blood, it would leave quite a few traces behind.

So, seizing an opportunity while Huangfu Yu was distracted, she suddenly elongated her nails and charged at him, intending to cut through his skin and feast on his blood.

After all, she had many ways to make this man swallow his anger, claiming she had accidentally hurt him. She was curious to taste the flavor of his blood and find out what made it different, that it could entice even the most discerning master.

However, as Julia launched her attack on Huangfu Yu, he had already sensed her movement. Yet, the speed of a vampire was beyond what a human could match, so even though Huangfu Yu saw Julia’s attack coming, he couldn’t evade it.

However, Julia’s attack never landed. Just as she charged at him, she was flung backward with force.

At some point, the cute-faced young man had already positioned himself in front of Huangfu Yu. Mu Jin coldly stared at Julia, who had been harshly thrown to the ground. His overpowering aura pressed down mercilessly, forcing even the surrounding servants to tremble and fall to their knees.

Blood trickled from the corner of Julia’s mouth as she looked at Mu Jin in terror. She had never seen her master display such anger before, especially while awake. This was the first time she had witnessed him so ferocious and enraged.

Why was the master showing such strong emotions—just for a human?

Julia deeply regretted attacking Huangfu Yu. She never expected that a human would matter so much to her master. She had calculated that Mu Jin had left the manor with Wallis for another city—so why had he returned so quickly?

Under the pressure of Mu Jin’s aura, Julia couldn’t stand; she could only kneel, her entire body trembling. She felt the full extent of Mu Jin’s terrifying power, as if he could crush her with just a single finger.

Mu Jin ignored Julia on the ground and swept his gaze over the others in the garden. Though Wallis had always obeyed him, it seemed that many still didn’t understand how important Huangfu Yu was to him.

Under Mu Jin’s icy gaze, no one dared to even breathe. After a long moment, Mu Jin finally looked down at Julia with a cold, disdainful expression and said, “There won’t be a next time.”

He then glanced at the distant servants, sweeping his eyes over them. Only when the oppressive force nearly crushed them did Mu Jin turn and leave with Huangfu Yu, returning to their room.

After entering the room, the door was immediately shut. Huangfu Yu could sense that something was off with Mu Jin’s emotions, and he really wanted to know why. But before he could ask, Mu Jin suddenly turned around and hugged him tightly.

Their bodies were pressed closely together, causing Huangfu Yu’s face to flush slightly. Remembering the intimate moments when Mu Jin had previously bitten him, the man’s body stiffened with tension. He couldn’t understand why this powerful vampire would suddenly show such vulnerability.

Many thoughts flashed through his mind, but in the end, he couldn’t hold back. He gently reached out and stroked the other’s hair, pressing softly on Mu Jin’s soft head, and then slowly embraced him in return.

The moment he did this, he felt Mu Jin tremble slightly in his arms before tightening his grip even more.

In fact, Mu Jin shouldn’t have returned this quickly, but he was eager to handle everything as soon as possible so he could hurry back to see his lover. That’s why he left the manor with Wallis yesterday evening.

Mu Jin didn’t even use any transportation on his way back. Instead, he relied on the teleportation ability unique to third-tier vampires, teleporting from one location to another to rush back.

Thanks to Mu Jin’s high rank and the abundant energy in his body, he managed it. Otherwise, any other vampire might have collapsed halfway through such an exhausting journey.

Even so, Huangfu Yu had been wronged. He hadn’t expected that after just a day apart, he would return to witness that audacious woman attempting to harm his beloved.

Although Mu Jin knew that with him around, Julia wouldn’t dare to cause Huangfu Yu any serious harm, this time, she had still crossed the line and touched Mu Jin’s bottom line.

Without hesitation, he took action, personally punishing Julia and using his aura to intimidate everyone else. He wanted to make it clear that this person—Huangfu Yu—belonged to him, cherished above all else, untouchable by anyone.

Even though in many lifetimes, his lover had suffered, Mu Jin could never fully adjust to seeing him in pain. Every time it happened, the ache in his heart deepened.

The severe injuries combined with the pressure from his aura would be enough to confine Julia to bed for several months, reflecting on her actions. But Mu Jin still felt it wasn’t enough. He had quickly left the scene, fearing he would lose control of his anger and kill Julia on the spot.

Unfortunately, Julia hadn’t done anything truly unforgivable. If he killed her merely for provoking Huangfu Yu, the others might hold a grudge against him for it.

Mu Jin didn’t care how others saw him, but he was concerned that, if they turned their resentment towards Huangfu Yu, it would increase the danger to his beloved. That was something he simply could not tolerate.

“I left yesterday to deal with some matters. I’m sorry, I didn’t mean for you to suffer.” Mu Jin finally snapped back to reality, releasing Huangfu Yu from his embrace and offering a sincere apology.

Huangfu Yu shook his head at Mu Jin’s words. He noticed that Mu Jin was still wearing the same clothes as yesterday, which made him realize the other must have had something urgent to handle and had rushed back in a hurry.

Although he didn’t fully understand why Mu Jin felt the need to explain or apologize, it warmed his heart. In response, Huangfu Yu gave Mu Jin his first smile in days.

The man couldn’t speak, so he tentatively reached out again, gently ruffling Mu Jin’s soft hair. In his heart, he was grateful, knowing that without Mu Jin, he would have been hurt.

Mu Jin waited for a while, hoping his beloved would tell him what had happened. After a moment, he suddenly remembered that his lover’s voice had been poisoned and rendered mute.

Frustrated with himself for being so caught up in his emotions that he overlooked something so important, Mu Jin realized that healing his beloved was the most urgent matter. He knew that the medicines the Huangfu family had found weren’t very effective, and that the throat issue wasn’t too difficult to resolve.

During their kiss and blood-drinking session yesterday, Mu Jin had already used some of his power to help slowly restore him. A couple more sessions should be enough to fully heal him.

Seeing that his lover’s condition seemed slightly better today, Mu Jin immediately wrapped his arms around his neck, lifted himself up on his toes, and captured Huangfu Yu’s lips in a kiss.

Huangfu Yu froze for a moment, then quickly opened his mouth, thinking that the little one in his arms was just hungry again.
