The Huangfu family not only freed themselves from centuries of enslavement but also successfully absorbed all the Mu family’s assets, becoming the most powerful family in the country. The male protagonist, Huangfu Jian, then took over as the head of the Huangfu family and rose to the pinnacle of his life.
After reading through the entire plot, Mu Jin couldn’t help but recall the movies he had seen in a modern setting in a past world. Several of those films featured protagonists who were hybrids, born of vampires and humans.
However, in this particular story, not only is the male protagonist a hybrid, but he’s also a powerful CEO. No wonder countless beauties were drawn to his charm.
In fact, the protagonist was only able to infiltrate the vampire headquarters thanks to the help of a female vampire who aided him from within. Unfortunately, that vampire ultimately sacrificed herself to protect the protagonist from the villain, dying tragically.
After confirming with 003, Mu Jin quickly realized that his lover in this world was none other than Huangfu Yu—the 100% villain who, despite once being part of the Huangfu family, turned into a vampire and raised his blade against his own brother.
There wasn’t much written about Huangfu Yu in the original plot. His name was only briefly mentioned during the first half of the story through the words of Huangfu Jian’s grandfather, Huangfu Hongzhi. It was simply noted that he was the male protagonist’s half-brother, and that his mother had passed away shortly after giving birth to him.
Yet, despite being such an underdeveloped character, this brother eventually emerged as a powerful foe, nearly killing the protagonist. It took a great deal of effort for the male lead to finally defeat and kill him.
With the omniscient perspective that Mu Jin now had, he knew that everything Huangfu Hongzhi had told the protagonist was a lie. Although to outsiders it appeared that Huangfu Yu was indeed a member of the Huangfu family, in reality, he shared no blood relation with them.
While the male protagonist’s father had been involved with many women over the years, he had never fathered a child. Huangfu Yu had actually been adopted by the Huangfu family from outside.
The Huangfu family, as Huangfu Hongzhi had claimed, did offer a blood servant to the Malkavian family every thirty years, and the blood servant had to be a direct descendant of the Huangfu bloodline.
But this arrangement wasn’t simply a matter of slavery or a curse. It was, in fact, the result of an agreement that had been signed between the Huangfu family and the Malkavian clan many years ago.

The Malkavian clan looked down on forcing others into submission, but they were still highly interested in the exquisite blood. So, they accepted the Huangfu family’s proposal. However, as the years went by, the Huangfu family’s bloodline thinned, and their blood became less and less appealing.
Despite this, the Malkavian clan had no intention of changing the longstanding tradition. They continued to accept blood servants from the Huangfu family, offering them various benefits and protection in return. After all, in this country, the Malkavian clan was at the pinnacle of power.
Years later, the Huangfu family, starting with a certain generation, had a family head who was reluctant to offer up his own child. Instead, he sought out an orphan in an attempt to swap them out, raising the child and then sending them to the Malkavian clan to serve as a blood servant in place of his own child.
