Tyrant Meets Paranoid [Quick Transmigration] – Chapter 134

Chapter 134 – Violent Useless vs. Delicate Cat (14)

After he finished speaking, the little guy on the other side nodded with a smile and said, “I know, I know, I know that you just forgot to bring lunch, husband. It has nothing to do with worrying about me or being unable to eat or sleep because you missed me!”

Hearing this, Yan Yang snorted and turned his head away without refuting his words. It took him a while before he turned back to Mu Jin and said, “Don’t you have something to explain to me?”

Mu Jin quickly leaned in and hugged Yan Yang’s arm, looking at him with pitiful eyes, “Of course I do! Husband, I really didn’t want to leave, but I had no choice. I remembered something important I had to go back and deal with.”

“What was so important?” Yan Yang saw how serious Mu Jin was, and his expression grew serious too.

Then he heard his little cat earnestly explain, “Husband, you know your soul power level hasn’t been high. I suddenly remembered something from my clan’s records that if the meridians are blocked, there’s a way to break through those barriers and increase soul power.”

“I’ve sensed it before. You have great talent, but because your meridians are somewhat blocked, your soul power hasn’t been able to grow. If I can clear those blockages, you could soar. That’s why I went back to find those records, which took some time.”

Yan Yang was shocked by Mu Jin’s words. He never thought that after being considered a failure for so long, there could be a chance for change. Unable to contain his excitement, he asked, “Xiao Jin, is it true? Can my constitution really change, and can my soul power improve?”

Mu Jin met Yan Yang’s eyes and nodded firmly.

With this confirmation, Yan Yang felt a burst of joy, not just because increasing his soul power would stop others from ridiculing him. It was also because greater soul power meant more strength and the ability to protect those he cared about, without being separated from them.

Moreover, if his soul power could reach a high enough level, soul power users above level seven could live longer lives.

His precious little cat was a cat demon, with a potentially long life. Yan Yang always feared that after his own death, Mu Jin might end up with someone else. He wasn’t entirely clear on his relationship with Mu Jin, but the mere thought of his little cat showing affection to someone else made him furious.

He didn’t want to be separated from him or let him go to anyone else. So if his soul power could improve, granting him more years, maybe he could be with him forever.

Yan Yang didn’t realize that, even though they hadn’t known each other for long, he was already thinking about spending the rest of his life with him. After the initial joy, he felt a surge of gratitude. He had wronged Xiao Jin, who had gone through all this trouble just for him.

Regardless of whether this would work, he was grateful for Mu Jin’s effort. He hugged Mu Jin tightly, feeling a sense of satisfaction. He wondered how someone could be so good, running around for him and always willing to stay by his side.

He was truly thankful that fate brought this little cat to him, allowing him to experience family and happiness.

They hugged for a while until Yan Yang heard a growling sound from Mu Jin’s stomach. He let go and saw Mu Jin looking up at him with an innocent expression, feeling a little annoyed at himself.

If he had known he would meet Xiao Jin at school, he would have brought food with him. But then he remembered that he had something in his pocket that Xiao Jin might like.

Unexpectedly, Yan Yang pulled out an already-opened bag of dried fish from his pocket. Blushing, he handed it to Mu Jin, saying, “Eat this. It’s all I’ve got.”

Yan Yang had been eating poorly because he missed Mu Jin so much. When he missed him particularly badly, he would eat a piece or two of the dried fish he had saved for him.

Tasting the dried fish his little cat loved made him feel more connected to him. Even at school, he carried it in his pocket.

After going through many worlds together, Mu Jin understood Yan Yang’s thoughts, feeling a rush of emotion. He took the dried fish bag, ate two pieces, and then put one into Yan Yang’s mouth.

The two of them sat snuggled together, sharing a bag of dried fish. Then Yan Yang asked with some confusion, “But, Xiao Jin, where are your ears and tail? How did you change your appearance?”

Mu Jin was taken aback by Yan Yang’s question. It was only then that he remembered that his current appearance was the normal human form of the original owner, and Yan Yang hadn’t seen it before.

He wasn’t planning to reveal this just yet, so he brushed it off with a cheeky response, “It’s just a simple illusion. The ears and tail are tucked away. Do you miss my ears and tail, husband? If you’d like, I can bring them out for you right now.”

As soon as he said that, a pair of white cat ears popped out from his black hair. Yan Yang, finding this amusing, reached out and gently pinched the cat ears.

Seeing Mu Jin’s ears twitch and his playful attempt to avoid the touch, Yan Yang felt a sudden rush of affection. He didn’t know what came over him, but he leaned in and playfully nibbled on the furry cat ear.

Mu Jin, surprised by his lover’s unexpected move, felt a shiver run through him like a jolt of electricity, involuntarily letting out a soft moan, “Stop!” before collapsing into Yan Yang’s arms.

Yan Yang wasn’t sure why he did that, but Mu Jin’s reaction, the gentle moan, and the flush on his face made Yan Yang’s heart skip a beat.

Taking a couple of deep breaths to calm his racing heart, Yan Yang forced a smile and lightly rubbed Mu Jin’s forehead, saying, “You should put your ears away; it’ll be bad if someone sees them.”

Mu Jin nodded, blinking rapidly to clear the moisture from his eyes. He didn’t expect his ears to be so sensitive. Although he didn’t mind getting intimate with his lover, they were still in school, which wasn’t ideal, so he obediently put his ears away.

Worried that one packet of dried fish wasn’t enough, Yan Yang eventually ran to a nearby shop to buy more of Mu Jin’s favorite food. He knew his little cat loved to eat, and he couldn’t let him go hungry.

Although Mu Jin said it wasn’t necessary, he didn’t refuse when he saw Yan Yang’s insistence. He knew that Yan Yang hadn’t eaten well either, so when he saw that the food his lover bought was all his favorites, he happily shared them with him.

The rest of the day passed without incident. Although some students seemed interested in befriending Mu Jin, they were quickly deterred by Yan Yang’s deathly glare.

Mu Jin didn’t have much interest in socializing with these young students. He enjoyed watching his man’s possessiveness and felt that attending Saintlin Academy with Yan Yang was a great idea.

After school, Mu Jin walked with Yan Yang. He explained that his disguise was to surprise him so that they could be together at school every day.

Yan Yang was pleased to hear that Mu Jin’s disguise was meant to surprise him. He didn’t question how Mu Jin managed to become a transfer student at Saintlin Academy. To him, his little cat was a cat demon—using a bit of magic to enter the school was no big deal.

The two walked to a secluded spot, where Mu Jin transformed back into his cat form and climbed into Yan Yang’s backpack, returning to the Yan family’s house.

Once in Yan Yang’s room, he let Mu Jin out of the backpack. Seeing that no one was around, Mu Jin transformed back into his half-human form and headed straight for Yan Yang’s closet, casually picking out his lover’s clothes to wear.

As for why he could transform a school uniform but not conjure clothes at home, Mu Jin refused to answer. Anyway, if his lover didn’t notice, neither did he!

Yan Yang still couldn’t look directly at Mu Jin’s body. He waited until he was sure Mu Jin was dressed before turning around, only to be greeted by his little cat’s warm embrace.

After dinner, they chatted about the events of the past few days and then, as usual, fell asleep in each other’s arms.

Yan Yang had previously been troubled by how much his cat clung to him, always sleeping in his arms, and his restless behavior at night, which often left him blushing and flustered.

But after these past few days, he realized how hard it was to sleep without his little cat in his arms. Now that he could hold his little cat again, he felt a surge of emotion, almost to the point of tears.

It felt great to have his Xiao Jin back, quietly nestled in his arms like an obedient kitten.

Even if his little cat’s sleeping habits weren’t great, sometimes being too clingy and making him blush, it didn’t matter. As long as he stayed by his side, Yan Yang could endure it all.
