Top Stream Business – Chapter 62 Part 2

[Sigh, some people can draw a real rose with a glass rod, while others…]

[Are you cursing again?!]

Qiao Huaiyao responded to some of the ‘assignments‘ in the comments. From the results, he could tell if a solution was lacking or if the ratios were incorrect.

He posted the correct measurements in the comments, so anyone interested could try again with the right proportions.

If they didn’t want to try again, at least they would know where they went wrong.

He kept replying until the car stopped.

On the way to the amusement park, the traffic gradually decreased.

Most visitors arrived in the morning and spent the entire day in the park.

They were coming relatively late, and the road was almost empty.

As they got out of the car, Lu Lu also stepped out and asked, “Brother Bai, do you need a driver for tonight?”

Though he said ‘tonight,’ he was asking if the driver should wait for them.

Bai Jinyan replied, “No need.”

The park had a hotel, and it would be inconvenient to run around late at night.

Lu Lu nodded and said, “Alright, I’ll head back then, Brother Bai. Just message me if you need anything.”

After saying that, Lu Lu greeted Qiao Huaiyao and left.

Qiao Huaiyao was dressed lightly underneath, as it wasn’t suitable to wear heavy clothing for running.

His jacket wasn’t very thick either, and by the time it was early afternoon, he felt a bit warm.

There were more people inside the park than outside, but it wasn’t as crowded as during the peak tourist season.

Qiao Huaiyao had seen photos of the park during peak season online, where people were packed like sardines. In such times, waiting in line for a single ride could take hours.

Bai Jinyan opened the single-use wristbands issued by the park, which replaced tickets. Once opened, they emitted a light for a fixed time.

Bai Jinyan helped him put it on and casually asked, “What do you want to try first?”

Qiao Huaiyao looked around but didn’t see any interesting nearby attractions, nor were there any recommended ones from the guide.

However, a roller coaster in the distance caught his eye.

Qiao Huaiyao suggested, “How about the roller coaster?”

“Sure.”

According to the map, the roller coaster entrance was in the middle of the amusement park.

They uploaded the map to their phones, using the voice navigation to guide them, providing real-time location updates and directions for turns.

Along the way, they passed many vendors selling floating balloons.

Almost every child had one.

Some of the balloons were bigger than the children, which looked quite amusing.

Qiao Huaiyao couldn’t help but glance at them a few times.

Those balloons were at least three times bigger than the ones they had delivered while filming the variety show.

Seeing this, Bai Jinyan scanned his wristband for payment and bought the largest cat-shaped balloon.

In the amusement park, payments were made using wristbands, with the total being settled upon exiting.

This method was convenient and also disconnected the immediate sense of spending money, leading to more purchases.

The park profited by selling these items, making more money this way.

“Brother?” Qiao Huaiyao noticed Bai Jinyan had stopped and turned to see the balloon vendor handing him a balloon.

Qiao Huaiyao: “???”

Bai Jinyan looked calm, not finding anything odd about buying a balloon. “Give me your hand.”

Qiao Huaiyao, knowing what he wanted to do, extended his hand and asked, “Why did you suddenly think of buying this?”

The balloon string was thin and might hurt if it was too tight.

Bai Jinyan tied the string to Qiao Huaiyao’s wristband instead, making it look neat.

Casually, he explained, “Every kid here has a balloon.”

Qiao Huaiyao’s eyes curved in a smile, a noticeable grin forming on his lips.

“Let’s go.” Bai Jinyan held his other hand, the one without the balloon, “Let’s head inside.”

The outer area of the amusement park had many rides suitable for children.

Thrilling rides like roller coasters and drop towers were located towards the middle and back.

Next to each ride were small stands.

They sold themed toys related to the rides, like water guns and bubble machines.

Since Qiao Huaiyao already had a large bubble machine, he didn’t buy another one.

Even at this time, there were quite a few people in line for the roller coaster.

The entrance had several lines, each for different ticket types.

Besides the staff-only entrance, all were ticketed.

A staff member in a plush costume stood at the VIP entrance, “Welcome to the roller coaster. Please take care of your valuables.”

The staff waved a large furry paw, “Balloons aren’t convenient to bring on the roller coaster. You can leave them with Lu Lu for safekeeping. Remember to collect them after your ride.”

Rather than the hassle of repeatedly handling the balloon, Qiao Huaiyao handed over his wristband.

The staff member took it and didn’t place it randomly but held onto it personally, “Got it.”

As they were talking, the previous group of riders exited the roller coaster.

The staff member said, “You two can go up and choose your seats first. A friendly tip from Lu Lu: for a more thrilling experience, sit towards the back. The front offers a better view.”

At the highest point, the front row pauses, allowing a view of the drop before descending.

But the back row, during the pause, is on the climb, leading to a seamless transition from climb to plunge.

The roller coaster tunnel was empty.

Qiao Huaiyao and Bai Jinyan were the first to enter.

Preferring the view from the front row over the back row’s plunge, Qiao Huaiyao said, “Brother, let’s sit in the front row.”

“Alright.” Bai Jinyan didn’t mind which row, as long as Qiao Huaiyao was happy.

The roller coaster had two seats side by side.

As soon as they sat down, a staff member came to secure their safety belts and checked everything before letting the next group in.

Qiao Huaiyao glanced at Bai Jinyan, smiling as he extended his palm, “If you get scared later, you can hold my hand.”

“No need to wait.” Bai Jinyan slowly raised an eyebrow, placing his hand over Qiao Huaiyao’s, interlocking their fingers.

Qiao Huaiyao was taken aback. What did he mean by no need to wait?

Before he could react, Bai Jinyan, after clasping his hand, moved closer, bringing Qiao Huaiyao’s hand near his face.

He subtly avoided the camera’s angle behind them and placed a kiss on Qiao Huaiyao’s hand.

Qiao Huaiyao’s fingers trembled, “Brother.”

Before he could pull his hand away, Bai Jinyan tightened his grip.

With a smile in his eyes, Bai Jinyan leisurely completed his earlier statement, “I can hold your hand now.”

Qiao Huaiyao blinked, wanting to say more, but the next group of riders arrived.

To avoid drawing attention to the front row, Qiao Huaiyao discreetly lowered their interlocked hands onto his lap.

When they had sat down, Qiao Huaiyao had purposely let Bai Jinyan sit on the inside, making it less likely for the arriving riders to notice them.

You couldn’t wear a hat on a roller coaster, and sitting in the back would make them more visible to incoming riders.

In the front row, they were only seen from behind, and no one would go out of their way to the front just to see who was sitting there.

Once the roller coaster was full, an electronic announcement played: “The roller coaster is about to start. Please remain seated and cooperate with the staff to ensure your safety belts are secure.”

“After the roller coaster starts, do not leave your seat or unfasten your safety belts. Avoid taking high-risk photos.”

“Please ensure your own safety. We hope you enjoy your ride.”

After the staff checked the safety belts from the front row to the back, a long beep sounded, and the roller coaster slowly started moving forward.

Qiao Huaiyao shook their interlocked fingers slightly.

Bai Jinyan noticed his movement and mimicked him.

As the roller coaster climbed to the highest point, it paused briefly before plunging downward.

Qiao Huaiyao instinctively tightened his grip.

The screams from the back rows were continuous and lively.

The roller coaster moved quickly, and the wind was strong.

During the ride, there was a point where they hung upside down at the highest turn.

The sensation of weightlessness made it feel like they were suspended in mid-air.

The roller coaster ride lasted only about two and a half minutes from start to finish, looping back to the initial tunnel.

Qiao Huaiyao turned to look at Bai Jinyan’s wind-tousled hair and reached out to smooth it.

Bai Jinyan lowered his head to make it easier for him to reach.

After fixing his hair, Bai Jinyan ruffled Qiao Huaiyao’s hair in return.

They were the last ones to unfasten their safety belts and get off the ride.

Once everyone had left the tunnel, they disembarked and exited through the less crowded VIP channel.

After retrieving their wristbands, they took a nearby express elevator downstairs.

Directly across from the elevator was a small stand.

Qiao Huaiyao noticed some trinkets on it that resembled the plush costume worn by the staff member earlier.

They seemed to be roller coaster-themed merchandise.

Qiao Huaiyao immediately spotted a headband with plush ears.

He glanced at Bai Jinyan and asked, “Brother, should we go check it out?”

Bai Jinyan succinctly replied, “Sure.”

The stand was filled with various items, and Bai Jinyan browsed through them, asking, “Which one do you like?”

Seeing that Bai Jinyan wasn’t paying attention, Qiao Huaiyao quietly picked up the headband, “Brother.”

“Hmm?”

When Bai Jinyan turned to look, Qiao Huaiyao placed the headband on his head.

Bai Jinyan was momentarily stunned, then slowly raised one eyebrow.

Qiao Huaiyao’s eyes curved into a smile as he looked at the fluffy black ears, “It looks great!”
