The Boss’ White Moonlight is Resurrected – Chapter 89 Part 2

Ten minutes later, Shao Heng leisurely followed Wan Tong out of the house.

But when they arrived at the elevator, they saw a sign indicating it was under maintenance.

“What should we do? Maybe I should call the doctor and reschedule,” Wan Tong said helplessly.

Shao Heng looked in the direction of the emergency staircase and said, “We can take the stairs.”

“…” Wan Tong looked concerned and reminded him, “Young man, we live on the 12th floor.”

“How many years older than me are you? Do I not have a name or something?” Shao Heng gave her a cold glance, hands in his pockets, his black eyes shining brightly.

Wan Tong gently touched her nose and said, “You’re focusing on the wrong thing, A’Heng. We live on a too-high floor. Let’s wait for the elevator.”

Shao Heng pulled his hand out of his pocket and impatiently replied, “Stop talking, let’s hurry.”

After saying that, he turned his back to her and squatted slightly. “Come on, get on!”

Looking at the young man’s not-so-wide but exceptionally strong and robust arm, Wen Tong reached out and climbed onto his back. She nestled her entire body against him.

After Shao Heng stood up with her on his back, he felt a warm breath against his ear and heard her soft voice, “A’Heng, aren’t I heavy?”

At 165 cm tall and 95 pounds, she was slightly rounder for someone who often appeared on camera, but if anyone were to blame, it was the delicious meals he had been cooking for her lately.

Shao Heng didn’t answer; he just made a snort noise from his nose.

Wan Tong continued to explain, “I used to exercise a lot, but I’ve been staying home a lot recently and eating too much. I’ve gained a little weight. It’s all because your cooking is so delicious; you’ve made me gain weight.”

Listening to her chatter, Shao Heng couldn’t be bothered to reply. He just couldn’t hide the slight upward curve of his lips.

He was proud of making her gain weight.

Thinking that Shao Heng might be tired, Wan Tong suggested, “A’Heng, maybe you should put me down.”

“Don’t move around, or I might just throw you down!” Shao Heng threatened playfully, making her hold onto him tightly, bringing her even closer.

The hallway was rarely used, narrow and stuffy. Shao Heng was almost choked by her grip. “Are you trying to strangle me?” he asked.

Wen Tong quickly loosened her grip. “I’m sorry.”

Shao Heng was sweating from the heat. Her warm breath in his ear was almost scorching his left ear.

Being so close to her, he could even feel the softness against his back. He swallowed hard a few times, feeling his throat and lips suddenly very dry.

“Shut up, stop talking; it’s so annoying!” he grumbled lowly, his voice a bit husky, and he started descending the stairs even faster.

The clattering sound and the up and down bumps made Wan Tong a bit hesitant to look down the stairs, so she closed her eyes.

After just a few minutes, Shao Heng pushed open the door, and a cold breeze hit them.

Wantong opened her eyes and found herself in the first-floor lobby. The cold air from the management office made her shiver.

It was only then that she noticed that both she and Shao Heng were sweating profusely. She even saw that his ears and neck had turned red, and sweat beads were slowly trickling down, wetting his hairline.

However, Shao Heng had no intention of putting her down. He carried her out of the apartment directly.

Wan Tong took out two tissues from her bag and gently wiped the sweat off him, but he turned his head and said, “Don’t touch me.”

Wan Tong : “…” Then why did he carry her?

After he yelled, Shao Heng turned his head away and silently led her out of the residential complex. The taxi they had called earlier was already waiting.

Inside the car, Wan Tong handed the tissues to Shao Heng and said, “Thank you, A’Heng.”

Shao Heng didn’t take them. Instead, he lifted the hem of his black T-shirt and wiped his face with it.

Because Wan Tong had been looking at him, she also saw his abdominal muscles, which were still sweating and glistening, as his T-shirt rose…

Wan Tong silently averted her gaze. Did he have to be this provocative? She felt like she was going to have a nosebleed.

At the hospital, Shao Heng followed Wan Tong like a transparent person.

The young male doctor who was removing the cast for Wan Tong seemed to be a student brought by the director from before.

“You can be more active during this period, but avoid strenuous activities, and pay attention to your diet…” The male doctor spoke gently, occasionally glancing at Wan Tong. His eyes behind the glasses were warm and friendly.

The two nurses assisting on the side exchanged meaningful glances. Who didn’t know that the director sent Dr. Lin over here because Dr. Lin was too busy to date anyone?

This young woman is not only beautiful but also sexy and charming. It seems that Dr. Lin might have developed some feelings for her, otherwise why would he become so talkative?

However, their gazes couldn’t help but sneak into the corner at Shao Heng, that guy must be this woman’s younger brother. Those genes are really something, he’s so handsome!

Wan Tong also noticed that Dr. Lin was being overly enthusiastic, but she had no reason to refuse, so she could only awkwardly respond with occasional smiles.

Shao Heng, on the other hand, became impatient and walked up, saying, “Can we leave now?”

Wan Tong quickly looked at Dr. Lin and said, “Doctor, I’ll be careful. Thank you for your help. We’ll be leaving now.”

Only then did Dr. Lin say, “Alright then, give me your contact information, and I’ll send you some things to pay attention to later.”

After saying this, he appeared visibly nervous.

How could Wan Tong not understand what was going on? This was a way of indirectly asking for her contact information.

However, since he was the doctor here, it wouldn’t be difficult for him to get her number. He was just trying to find a legitimate reason to contact her.

When Shao Heng heard this, he snorted disdainfully and said, “You’re a doctor, can’t you write everything on the medical records? Do you need to contact patients privately? Who knows what your intentions are—”

Before he could finish speaking, Wan Tong gave him a discreet pull and interrupted what he wanted to say, saying, “Dr. Lin, thank you, but there’s no need to trouble you further. The director has already told me a lot.”

Dr. Lin saw that Shao Heng’s expression was not friendly and that Wan Tong had clearly rejected him, so he felt a bit disappointed. However, he didn’t show it and said, “That’s good. Once you’ve settled the payment, you can leave. I hope you recover soon.”

“Thank you, Dr. Lin.”

After leaving the hospital, Shao Heng coldly snorted and stared at her with a meaningful gaze as he said, “You don’t happen to like that doctor, do you? Didn’t you notice his intentions towards you?”

Wan Tong seemed to sense a hint of jealousy and narrowed her eyes slightly, asking in return, “What kind of intentions could he possibly have towards me?”

Shao Heng pretended to be naive but was increasingly frustrated, “He wanted your contact information, wasn’t it to pursue you?”

Wan Tong furrowed her brows and said, “Watch your choice of words.”

Shao Heng pursed his lips, the frustration building up in his chest making him extremely irritable as he said, “I’m used to speaking like this. If you don’t like it, you can pretend you didn’t hear it.”

“He just wanted my contact number. Do you really think he’s trying to hit on me? Then why do you cook for me every day? Should I think you’ve fallen in love with me, madly in love that you can’t control yourself?”

Upon hearing Wan Tong’s words, Shao Heng choked up, staring at her in bewilderment, feeling the blood rushing to his face.

“What nonsense are you talking about?!” He shouted at her and then turned and walked away in quick strides!

Was it because he was too angry, or… running away?

Wan Tong touched her chin, finding it hard to read his thoughts, but she could sense that she held a special place in his heart.

That’s why he could let her freeload for so many days in a row.

“Aren’t you leaving yet?” Shao Heng shouted again, looking like a ignited powder keg.

Wan Tong watched his explosive demeanor, a hint of a smile on her lips, finding it rather cute.

But the current Shao Heng was completely different from the elegant and wise character who had everything under control in the world’s original plot.

What could she do to get this grown-up child back on track?

The elevator still hasn’t been fixed.

Wan Tong and Shao Heng looked at the sign in front of the elevator door in silence for two seconds.

Shào Héng didn’t really care, but just as he was about to crouch down, Wan Tong waved her hand and said, “It’s easy to go down but going up will be tiring. Let’s wait for the elevator to be fixed.”

“Stop talking nonsense,” Shao Heng glared at her and it looked like he was about to explode again.

Wan Tong suggested, “How about we go shopping?”

Shao Heng, who had nearly blurted out words that had slipped to his throat, swallowed them back and slowly straightened up. He turned his head to the side and asked irritably, “Where do you want to go? How annoying.”

Wan Tong pursed her lips, smiled as she looked at his proud jawline, and softly said, “Let’s go shopping for a while and have dinner together tonight. I’ll treat you.”

Shao Heng seemed to hesitate for a moment, took out his phone, glanced at it, and then put it back. “Let’s go.”

Wan Tong asked, “Don’t you need to tell Sister Zhi?”

“I’ll send her a message later.”

“Oh.”

Look, Li Zhi’s control over Shao Heng has reached such a level.

Wan Tong is just a relatively unknown internet celebrity, and even when she trends, not many people recognize her.

But she has always been the most eye-catching presence in any crowd, with a slender yet hot figure, a naturally charming face, and although she still had some inconvenience while walking, her innate sexy charm makes her stand out, easily captivating people with her mesmerizing gaze.

Especially now, she is accompanied by a young man with black eyes who looks like a wild beast.

Shao Heng is very temperamental, displaying disrespect and fierceness on his face, almost wishing to drag the woman walking in front of him back home.

Is this supposed to be shopping?

It’s more like coming out for others to gawk at.

The gazes of those men are disgusting; even though they have girlfriends by their side, they keep sneaking glances over here!

As for the women’s looks, they are more filled with suspicion, scrutiny, and disdain.

Wan Tong has become accustomed to the way people look at her. Even if she’s just wearing a knee-length skirt, not revealing her waist or chest, her excessively seductive appearance and curvaceous figure still lead most people, regardless of gender, to think she’s immodest and lacks self-respect.

She was thinking about what to buy at the mall today when her arm was suddenly pulled by someone.

She turned to look and saw the young man wearing a displeased expression.

“We’re going back; no more shopping,” he said.

“Why? Didn’t we just come here?” Wan Tong asked.

“It’s too noisy.” Shao Heng spat out those three words, his dark brows revealing a hint of disgust.

Wan Tong thought he might not be comfortable in crowded public places, but she brought him out precisely because she didn’t want him to stay home all the time. He needed to overcome his social anxiety.

So she didn’t back down and softened her voice. “Just half an hour, okay? I want to buy something; we’ve already come this far…”

This time, Shao Heng didn’t resist further.

“Hurry up,” he managed to say.

Wan Tong smiled and then led Shao Heng into a women’s lingerie store.

Shao Heng : “…”
