The Boss’ White Moonlight is Resurrected – Chapter 192 Part 1

After the dinner gathering, Wan Tong joined the Cub Protection Squad group chat

What she didn’t know was that in no time, Jian Shitong had created another group named Cub Protection Cub 2.

His mistake was that the two group names were too similar, making them easy to confuse.

Late at night, Wan Tong suddenly saw her Grandpa speaking in the group—at great length, no less—saying that tomorrow, he would have Jian Shitong arrange a meal with her, while he himself would pay a visit to Chu Yuanxun.

Wan Tong found his tone a bit odd, but she still typed to reply : [Grandpa, you’re coming to B City?]

But before she could send it, her Grandpa retracted his message…

So, had he sent it to the wrong group?

Wan Tong’s mouth twitched. Clearly, they had secretly created yet another group behind her back.

Chu Yuanxun came in from outside and saw her pouting while typing. He lightened his steps, walked to the bedside, bent down, and kissed her lips. “What’s wrong?”

“They made another secret group without me. And Grandpa said he’s making a surprise visit to you tomorrow. I bet he’s already in B City…” Wan Tong said softly, her tone a mix of helplessness and amusement.

Chu Yuanxun remained unbothered. He pinched her cheek and said, “Don’t worry, it’s not like they’ll eat me alive.”

Wan Tong was about to grumble some more when he leaned down and silenced her with a kiss, pressing her tightly against him.

Her mind went blank, her focus instantly diverted. “A-again?”

They had been at it quite a lot lately. No matter how strong she was, she still needed some rest. And wasn’t he supposed to meet Grandpa tomorrow?

But their bodies were far too attuned to each other, impossible to resist once things got started again…

The next morning, Wan Tong received a call from Jian Shitong, saying he needed to discuss something with her. She yawned as she washed up, then pulled out a family photo to show Chu Yuanxun.

“This is my Grandpa… these are my parents…”

After introducing the Jian family, she continued scrolling through her photos. But in an unguarded moment, she accidentally swiped to some… less appropriate pictures.

Her scalp tingled as she hurried to scroll past them, but Chu Yuanxun caught her wrist, his voice low and dangerous. “Hm? What’s this?”

Wan Tong shook her head firmly. “Nothing! Just some… artistic photography!”

She rushed to lock her screen, but Chu Yuanxun had no intention of letting her off. Holding her hand, he unlocked the phone with her face recognition.

“I want to see,” he said, voice tight, “your so-called artistic photography.”

Wan Tong : “…”

She felt a little guilty, and before she knew it, her phone was in his hands.

Chu Yuanxun stared at the screen, his gaze locking onto a small mole in the photo—on a throat he recognized. His own. It was a close-up of his Adam’s apple.

The tension around him subtly shifted.

He lifted his eyes, looking at Wan Tong with a meaningful glint in his gaze. “So this is your artistic photography? When did you take this?”

Wan Tong swallowed, plastering on a sweet smile as she snuggled up to him like a guilty little wife, attempting to retrieve her phone. “I forgot… just snapped it randomly…”

She spent so much time with him—sometimes, she just couldn’t control her impulses…

Chu Yuanxun moved his hand, scrolling further. Wan Tong immediately held her breath.

Several more photos appeared—all close-ups of his Adam’s apple. Some were ones she had taken herself, others were screenshots from online interviews.

She could feel his mood improving; his lips even curved slightly with amusement.

But a few moments later, alarm bells suddenly rang in her mind. Her ‘artistic photography’ folder didn’t only contain pictures of him…

She lunged for the phone, but missed, landing squarely on top of him instead.

Chu Yuanxun’s body stiffened slightly. The air around them seemed to chill.

Dazed, she lifted her head. Sure enough, he was staring at the screen, expression unreadable, eyes narrowed slightly. Clearly, he had seen something he didn’t like.

Slowly, she turned her gaze toward the screen.

Another ‘artistic photo’ was displayed—a picture she had saved last year of a male model with a striking Adam’s apple.

Chu Yuanxun’s fingers twitched.

The next picture—another model’s side profile, with a perfectly sculpted throat.

One more swipe—an anime character, side profile, Adam’s apple highlighted.

Chu Yuanxun’s lips quirked into a cold smile. “You sure have a lot of… artistic photography.”

Wan Tong bit her lip awkwardly. “Let’s just… not bring up the past?”

Chu Yuanxun stared at her blankly, clearly expecting a proper explanation.

“These weren’t taken by me! I just saw them online and saved them… I’ll delete them right now?” Under his gaze, her voice grew weaker and weaker.

It was just a few pictures—so why did it suddenly feel like she had cheated on him?

Wan Tong buried her head and selected all the photos in the ‘artistic photography’ album, deleting them in one go. Chu Yuanxun watched, his lips parting slightly as if to speak, but in the end, he didn’t stop her.

“Is this good enough?” She waved her phone in front of him, her cheek rubbing lightly against his neck. “Xiao Xunxun, don’t be mad, okay?”

“…Mm.” Chu Yuanxun was completely defenseless against her coquettishness. His attitude softened instantly as he reached out and pulled her into his arms.

“Actually…” He hesitated for a moment. Actually, if it was her secretly taking pictures of him, he wouldn’t mind…

But before he could finish, Wan Tong beat him to it, holding up three fingers in a vow. “I won’t randomly save photos next time, and I won’t secretly take pictures of you either…”

Chu Yuanxun : “…Oh.”

Looking down at the girl’s smiling eyes, he sighed helplessly, the corners of his lips twitching up as he placed a kiss on her cheek.

Wan Tong covered her face. “Then I’ll head out first. If Grandpa really comes later, you handle it yourself~”

“Mm.” Chu Yuanxun wasn’t too concerned about that.

Not long after Wan Tong left, Chu Yuanxun’s phone received a notification—she had updated her Weibo.

Jian Wantong : [My source of happiness is gone!]

The attached image was a screenshot of her now-empty ‘artistic photography’ album.

Chu Yuanxun rubbed his forehead, but the corners of his mouth lifted involuntarily. She was obviously accusing him.

The little troublemaker ran off and suddenly got bold.

A minute later, Chu Yuanxun also posted on Weibo.

Chu Yuanxun : [Baby, I’m here.]

The attached photo was a close-up of his chin and collarbone, with a band-aid casually stuck on.

Moments later, a message from Wan Tong popped up on his phone : [Delete the photo!!]

Chu Yuanxun smiled as he traced the words with his fingertips. Soon, she sent the same message over a dozen times, clearly in a panic.

He replied : [What, can’t art be shared?]

Tongtong : [No sharing! It’s mine!]

Tongtong : [Delete the photo!!]

Only then did Chu Yuanxun leisurely go back to Weibo and delete his post.

However, his action had already caught the attention of netizens, and some had taken screenshots before he deleted it.

The doorbell rang. Putting away his phone, Chu Yuanxun walked to the entrance.

Outside stood an elderly man with white hair, leaning on a cane but still looking full of energy.

Chu Yuanxun had read about him in the newspapers—an amiable and reserved artist, seemingly tolerant of everything. But according to Tongtong, he actually had quite a fiery temper in private.

Elsewhere, Wan Tong was chatting idly over coffee with Jian Shitong, though her eyes were still glued to her phone.

“Tongtong, are you even listening to me?” Jian Shitong took a sip of the bitter coffee and asked helplessly.

“I am,” she replied without looking up. “Brother, you don’t have to work so hard to find something to talk about. I saw Grandpa’s message last night.”

Jian Shitong : “…”

And here they had been secretly celebrating in their group chat, thinking she hadn’t noticed.

A moment later, Wan Tong looked up awkwardly. “Brother, can you help me suppress a trending topic?”

Jian Shitong’s expression turned serious. “What happened?”

His guard immediately went up. Was someone causing trouble again? That Yuan Qingqing woman, maybe?

He quickly opened his phone, but after checking, he realized something was off. No one was badmouthing Tongtong…

Still, something had happened.

After Chu Yuanxun deleted his Weibo post, all sorts of speculation posts surfaced, and one particular theory had even made it to the trending list.

#JianXun Artistic Photography#

[The ‘artistic photography’ album seems to be Jian Wantong’s little guilty pleasure—probably similar to the ‘Homework’ folders some guys keep on their computers, if you know what I mean. Chu Yuanxun posted a photo and then deleted it, but from the screenshots, it was a close-up of his neck. No doubt it was his.

[Jian Wantong said her happiness was gone, and he immediately replied, ‘Baby, I’m here.’ What does this mean? It means her happiness is related to him!]

[Check out these images (7 pictures attached). They’re screenshots from the show. Jian Wantong always stares at Chu Yuanxun’s neck… So, my theory? Her ‘artistic photography’ album was full of neck photos. Chu Yuanxun found out and got jealous, so he deleted them. Then Jian Wantong complained on Weibo. Later, Chu Yuanxun posted his own photo in response, but Jian Wantong got jealous and made him delete it.

[Of course, this is just speculation… But honestly, isn’t it kind of cute?]

Wan Tong’s face burned with embarrassment. It was like they had completely nailed it.

So… could this trending topic be taken down?

If she weren’t afraid of getting teased even more, she would have just deleted her Weibo post instead.

Jian Shitong skimmed through the post, his eye twitching slightly before he looked at the restless girl across from him. “Sometimes, trying to cover things up just makes them more obvious.”

Wan Tong : “…”

“So, are you taking it down or not?” she pressed.

“…So they guessed right?”

“…Jian Shitong!”

“Alright, alright, I’ll take it down.” He took another sip of his coffee, his expression perfectly serious.
