Chapter 383 – ABO: The Heaven-Sent Sweetheart – Escape Plan (07)
Warren stroked his chin in thought, and as he pondered, he caught the sight of the two whispering intimately to each other out of the corner of his eye.
“Ahem—”
He cleared his throat twice to remind the pair across from him—show some mercy to single dogs in public.
Bai Tang, embarrassed, hid behind Jacob. Jacob gave Warren a brief glance, then led Bai Tang away.
“These days, people even have the nerve to bully single dogs…” Warren muttered as he watched the two disappear into the distance.
Jacob was quite wealthy. He took Bai Tang to a five-star hotel and booked a small suite, entering without anyone recognizing him.
Standing on the sixty-first floor, the people on the street were smaller than ants. Bai Tang had to squint, but he still couldn’t see clearly.
“What’s Tang Tang looking at?” Jacob came out after his shower and saw Bai Tang leaning against the floor-to-ceiling window, peering downward.
Even though Jacob knew the current high-strength glass was perfectly safe, seeing the boy in such a precarious position made his heart skip half a beat in fear.
He strode over quickly and scooped the boy back into his arms, still damp from the shower.
“Ah~”
Caught off guard, Bai Tang let out a soft gasp. When he saw who it was, he gently tapped Jacob’s bare chest with his fist, his tone shy and coquettish.
“You scared me to death~”
“Tang Tang…” Jacob murmured gently.
It has been two months since Bai Tang last used inhibitors, and their effects are fading. Bai Tang’s natural omega scent begins to surface, strongly affecting Jacob. The two are mutually drawn to each other, and emotions escalate quickly.
Like a large dog, he licked the back of the boy’s neck. With just a little force, he could bite through the boy’s glands and possess him completely.
“Tang Tang…” Jacob’s voice was urgent. He couldn’t wait to mark Bai Tang, but he didn’t want to force or make things difficult for him.
“Mmm~” The omega attracted the alpha, and similarly, the alpha’s scent attracted Bai Tang.
The skin on the back of his neck burned hot, and his nostrils were filled with his partner’s scent. Bai Tang’s mind began to blur, and he unconsciously moaned.
“Tang Tang, can I?” Jacob’s voice was hoarse; it wasn’t hard to tell that he was trying his best to satisfy him.
“Ah… yes, okay, Abu…”
The boy’s answer greatly encouraged Jacob. Suppressing his excitement, he sweetened the gland, gently biting it with his teeth, infusing it with his alpha scent.
“It hurts…”
The pain of the bitten gland pulled Bai Tang back to reality from his dazed state. Bai Tang tried to push Jacob away, but a omega’s strength was no match for an alpha’s.
Jacob was currently in a frenzy and naturally didn’t want to let go of Bai Tang.
After the pain subsided, it was replaced by a tingling sensation, so pleasurable that he couldn’t help but let out soft moans.
A smile flickered in Jacob’s eyes as he pulled the boy to the soft bed beside him, gently laid him down, and leaned over him…
Jacob marks Bai Tang, causing initial pain followed by warmth and closeness. The two share an intimate moment, with Jacob being especially strong and energetic due to his alpha constitution. Bai Tang becomes exhausted and eventually faints from the intensity.
When he wakes up again, he is clean but sore, though not in serious discomfort. Jacob holds him, deeply satisfied that Bai Tang now fully belongs to him as his mate.
Bai Tang originally wanted to scold him, but when he sees Jacob smiling foolishly, his anger disappears, and he calls him a “dummy.” His voice is hoarse from overexertion.
Jacob hurriedly picked up the glass of water on the bedside table and gently handed it to Bai Tang to soothe his throat.
“You’re smiling so stupidly. You don’t look anything like the pirate who’s famous across the galaxy.”
“I’m not a pirate right now. I’m Tang Tang’s devoted believer, and I’ll use all my lifetimes to protect you.”
Jacob was in an exceptionally good mood. He brushed the boy’s long hair behind his ear and pressed a reverent kiss onto his forehead.
The two of them stayed in the hotel for three days. Bai Tang was now completely covered in Jacob’s scent. Like an overgrown puppy, Jacob would seize any spare moment to nuzzle against him and sniff him nonstop.
After it happened too many times, Bai Tang angrily shut him out of the bedroom. No matter how long Jacob knocked, Bai Tang ignored him. Only after Bai Tang fell asleep did Jacob open the door, quietly tuck him in, and hold him as he slept.
They spent three days in sweetness and bickering, until Bai Tang turned on the virtual TV and saw the news: Jacob Lowry had appeared on the planet, committed multiple thefts, and had even left behind a recorded back-view image.
Bai Tang glared furiously at the thief impersonating Abu. He couldn’t be mistaken—wasn’t that the passerby who talked to him at the bulletin board a few days ago? So that’s what that pensive look meant at the time—he must’ve been thinking that no one knew what Abu looked like, so he could impersonate him to do bad things.
Although Jacob was a pirate, the targets he robbed were always rich, heartless tycoons. He never harmed ordinary people—except for that one time with the Sapphire robbery.
He was absolutely furious.
Seeing that thief use Jacob’s name to flirt with beta girls made Bai Tang’s lungs explode with anger.
“Too much! Qiu’er, who is he? Bring him here!”
Life was already hard enough for Abu—carrying him around, taking care of him, hiding from bounty hunters—and now someone was out there causing trouble and ruining his reputation. How could Bai Tang not be mad?
Qiu’er, who had been locked in Xiao A’s “small white room” for three days, was practically vibrating with excitement—finally, he had something to do.
Through the system, Bai Tang quickly learned that the man impersonating Jacob was named Warren, a traveler from the Galactic Alliance—and not just that, he was a major general in the Alliance’s military, and also one of the officers pursuing Jacob’s team.
Bai Tang: “!!!”
Jacob had already bought tickets and packed their luggage. When he walked into the bedroom and saw a puffed-up, furious Bai Tang, he glanced at the TV. The broadcast made him want to laugh.
“Don’t be angry. He’s just a clown—why bother, hmm?” Jacob pinched the boy’s little nose, and Bai Tang’s puffed-up lips instantly deflated.
“I am angry! He’s impersonating you and doing bad things! Abu would never do that~”
He understood his own partner well. Jacob’s identity in this life might not be the most legitimate, but his character was unquestionably good.
“It’s almost time for us to board. If Tang Tang still can’t let it go, then before we leave… we can send him a little gift.” Jacob spoke mysteriously as he opened the virtual computer. His fingers danced across the interface, typing in line after line of code.
Xiao A gasped. “Male lead is so handsome~”
Before long, the green code turned red, and a blue dot appeared on the large map.
“What’s that?” Bai Tang leaned in closer.
“That’s his location.” Jacob opened a live view of where Warren currently was. His silhouette was identical to the one shown in the news—he hadn’t even changed his clothes—making things extremely convenient for them.
Jacob sent Warren’s location to the authorities. After comparing the footage, they confirmed that the back-view image matched exactly.
Five minutes later, a crisp notification sounded—their account had received a deposit.
Bai Tang opened it and saw an extra twenty million credits.
His eyes widened, his bright clear gaze full of confusion.
Jacob kissed his soft pink lips and said gently, “This is Tang Tang’s reward.”
After someone reported the “Jacob” sighting, officials locked onto the suspect’s identity. They issued a partial reward to the informant first; once the suspect was caught and confirmed, the rest of the reward would be delivered.
Bai Tang wasn’t greedy—getting even a portion of the reward was already a pleasant surprise.
Jacob took Bai Tang to board the ship. On the way, cars with blaring sirens rushed past them—it was obvious they were all heading out to capture the fake “Jacob.”
Bai Tang covered his mouth and secretly laughed. Trying to frame Abu? Just wait to get caught.
Jacob, who quietly hid all his achievements and merit, looked at Bai Tang with a doting smile. As long as Tang Tang was happy, nothing else mattered to him.
The road ahead was complete chaos—everyone had to make way for the law enforcers.
Jacob and Bai Tang nearly missed the passenger ship, but thankfully, they made it just in time.
Once an omega is marked by an alpha, it’s impossible to hide it. The alpha’s scent lingering on the omega is easy for others to detect. But Bai Tang wasn’t worried—he had two systems.
Products from the system were always top quality.
The scent–concealing agent from the main system’s marketplace perfectly hid the alpha scent lingering on Bai Tang.
Jacob booked an entire cabin. Once inside, Bai Tang kicked off his shoes and jumped onto the bed, lazily sprawling across it.
Jacob had been a bit too intense earlier. Even with the treatment system healing his body, standing for too long still made Bai Tang’s waist feel sore.
Jacob placed a pillow under Bai Tang’s lower back and kissed him. “I’ll go get a basin of water. I’ll be quick.”
“Mm-hmm~” Bai Tang enjoyed the affection from his partner, reluctantly watching him leave and close the door.
“Dear passengers, the ship will take off in two minutes. If you have not boarded yet, please do so as soon as possible. Thank you for your cooperation.” The sweet voice from the announcement echoed throughout the vessel.
Bai Tang curled up on the bed, watching the nature documentary Xiao A had given him.
Suddenly, the cabin door was forcefully pushed open. Startled, the drowsy Bai Tang jerked upright. He looked over and saw a disheveled male alpha rush into the private cabin.
“Who are you? Get out!” Bai Tang shouted sternly.
The intruder didn’t leave. Instead, he closed the door and pressed his ear against it, listening closely for sounds outside.
Bai Tang clutched the blanket tightly, calling Jacob’s name in his mind.
A moment later, the announcement confirmed that the passenger ship had taken off. The man let out a sigh of relief, then turned to greet Bai Tang.
“Hey, we meet again.” Warren flashed a row of white teeth. He removed his wig, revealing his natural golden hair.
“It’s you!” Bai Tang recognized him immediately — the guy who had impersonated Jacob to commit crimes.
“That’s right, we meet again. I’ll just use your cabin to hide for a bit, hope you don’t mind.” Warren, confident in his looks and accustomed to many betas swooning over him, assumed Bai Tang wouldn’t dislike him either.
But to his surprise, Bai Tang’s shoulders trembled as he cried out loudly, “Abu—!”
His soft voice trembled, full of fear.
Warren panicked and quickly covered his mouth, worried the cabin guards would come.
Suddenly, the door was kicked open. Jacob saw a man laying hands on Bai Tang, and fury exploded within him. He grabbed Warren and landed a punch straight into his stomach.
Warren didn’t even see who had hit him before he was beaten senseless, unable to fight back at all.
