Since this was a beginner-level world, the task wasn’t too difficult, and the timeline was relatively short.
During the short period when Bai Tang was “neglecting“ Hudson, the students of this year’s class gradually entered an excited mode. The girls were busy shopping and buying makeup, while the boys even put down their games and entertainment to start grooming themselves—all in hopes of successfully confessing to their crushes at the graduation ball.
Naturally, Bai Tang and Hudson’s “separation” did not go unnoticed. Many people still remembered that time when Little Pitiful Bai Tang had followed behind Hudson, covered in bruises, silent, and looking helpless. If Hudson hadn’t been there at the time, they would have kidnapped Bai Tang back to their dorm for cuddles and comfort on the spot.
Now, seeing that they were clearly separated, did that mean Bai Tang and Hudson were no longer a thing? And if they weren’t together anymore… didn’t that mean they had a chance?!
The young men, full of enthusiasm, were rubbing their hands in anticipation, eager to make a move.

“Qiu’er, did something change in this world?” Bai Tang asked in confusion after declining yet another invitation for a late-night snack.
“Based on my analysis, they’re trying to pursue you,” the system proudly declared. It knew it! Its Tang Tang was the best.
As the graduation ball approached, the campus atmosphere grew increasingly lively. However, the number of people trying to get in Bai Tang’s good graces had significantly decreased.
“The male lead is too cunning,” the system fumed. “Not only is he staying single, but he won’t even let others date!”
Bai Tang, on the other hand, was quite content with the peace and quiet. The only thing that puzzled him was why Hudson would rather silently do things for him in the background instead of showing up in front of him.
He hadn’t seen Hudson in a long time. Was it six days? Or seven?
A strange sense of grievance welled up in Bai Tang’s heart. Seizing the opportunity, the system chimed in,
“Tang Tang, don’t think about it anymore. The male lead is just a big pig trotter. Speaking of which, do you want some pig trotters?” The system, drooling, held up a roasted pig trotter it had redeemed with points.
“No thanks, you can have it.” Bai Tang had little interest in meat. It seemed that without seeing Hudson, even the fruits he usually enjoyed didn’t taste as good.
Finally, the day of the graduation ball arrived. Neon lights illuminated the entire campus.
Girls donned elegant evening gowns, slipped into high heels, and applied delicate makeup, while boys dressed in dashing suits, shedding their usual unkempt looks to present the most charming versions of themselves.
As one of the top-ranking noble families, the Bell family certainly had to make an impression. Owen abandoned his usual playboy persona and wore a sophisticated black suit, making him look somewhat like a refined corporate elite.
His gaze swept across the crowd—not this one… not that one either… Where was his precious girl? He wondered just how stunning she would look tonight~~~
Meanwhile, Hannah’s so-called “compensation” for Bai Tang mainly revolved around making sure her dear little brother successfully lured the little cutie back home. Only then could she be set free.
With her professional team in tow, she gave Bai Tang and Tian Lingxue a full makeover, styling them meticulously from head to toe.
The stylist admired their handiwork and sighed in satisfaction, “Ah~ what a perfect little cutie~ If only he belonged to me…”
Bai Tang had always had delicate features, but now, with a proper makeover, his usual adorable charm faded slightly, replaced by an almost ethereal beauty—like a flawless work of art, something so fragile that even the slightest touch might shatter it.
