Tyrant Meets Paranoid [Quick Transmigration] – Chapter 39

Chapter 39 – Autistic Young Master VS Ruthless Boss (14)

Completely didn’t expect to see a bothersome presence at the door as soon as it opened. Looking at the uninvited Zhuang Hongwen, the impatience in Leng Xiao’s eyes was completely undisguised. Turning his head and seeing Mu Jin, who also showed a surprised expression not far behind, raised an eyebrow.

Seeing Leng Xiao’s reaction, Mu Jin quickly, with a strong survival instinct, explained to his lover, “I didn’t tell him I live here.”

Upon hearing Mu Jin’s words, Zhuang Hongwen showed a triumphant smile and said, “Wu Jue, have you forgotten what we do!”

“Although you usually hide your contact information online, making it impossible for us to find your location, we met yesterday. How could we not find relevant information about you? But I really didn’t expect that Wu Jue, you’re actually a young master!”

Mu Jin, hearing Zhuang Hongwen’s words, was momentarily stunned, realizing the truth of the matter. He could feel that the other party had no ill intentions, just treating him as a friend, wanting to find him.

Initially, he wanted to invite the person in, but unexpectedly, after learning the reason why Zhuang Hongwen found the Mu family, Leng Xiao instantly closed the door.

With a bang, the door was closed, and Zhuang Hongwen stared at the door that was now pressed against his nose like a chicken’s eye.

He felt extremely lucky that he had dodged quickly; otherwise, his nose would have been broken by the suddenly closed door.

Staring at the closed door in a daze, he thought about the code he had been studying all night yesterday, which still had a difficult problem. He really wanted to discuss it with Mu Jin in person, so he reluctantly knocked on the door again.

Because the young man respected Mu Jin, he didn’t excessively search for Mu Jin’s information. He only knew the address and that he had a sister. As for who Leng Xiao was, he thought it was another family member of Mu Jin.

In the end, the person inside the door became annoyed and opened it. After all, Mu Jin had explained to Leng Xiao that the other party had no malicious intent.

Although the man felt quite unhappy that Mu Jin spoke up for a stranger, seeing the little guy holding his hand with a pitiful look, he had to go along with it.

Fortunately, after the door opened, Mu Jin immediately, in front of Zhuang Hongwen, held Leng Xiao’s hand in an intimate gesture. He innocently said to Zhuang Hongwen, “Sorry, maybe the wind was too strong just now, and it blew the door closed.”

“Ah? Ah! The wind was indeed strong! Haha…” Zhuang Hongwen, looking at the tall man opposite him with a cold look, wiped the cold sweat from his forehead. He didn’t expect Wu Jue to be so good at telling lies.

However, when he came back to his senses and noticed the intertwined hands of Mu Jin and Leng Xiao, he seemed to understand something. His gaze swept back and forth between Leng Xiao and Mu Jin.

Seeing this, the man, as if proclaiming sovereignty, encircled Mu Jin completely in his arms.

Mu Jin patted his lover’s back soothingly. He naturally knew what Leng Xiao was thinking. He smiled with relief and introduced to Zhuang Hongwen, “By the way, I didn’t properly introduce you yesterday. Leng Xiao is not just a friend; he’s someone I like.”

Zhuang Hongwen widened his eyes at the words, not expecting the seemingly shy young man to have such boldness.

Leng Xiao also didn’t expect Mu Jin to introduce him like this. For a moment, he was stunned. When he reacted, his heart was immediately filled with joy.

The man knew that Mu Jin’s condition was getting better and almost considered him a normal person. He could feel Mu Jin’s affection for him, but it was challenging to define whether this affection was the one he desired. But now, Mu Jin had truly expressed his feelings.

Yesterday night, he had done something bad in a fit of anger, but looking at Mu Jin’s current appearance, it seemed that the little one understood his intentions.

Seeing Mu Jin holding his hand firmly and stating to his (not really) rival that he was the one Mu Jin liked, Leng Xiao’s heart surged with warmth.

Did this mean that he finally saw the light after enduring the storm? Had Mu Jin truly fallen in love with him?

For a moment, the man’s heart bubbled with sweetness. Even the blonde guy in front of him didn’t seem so annoying anymore.

On the side, Zhuang Hongwen didn’t understand why the terrifying expression of the man suddenly softened. Hearing Mu Jin’s introduction, his initial surprise had already passed.

He hadn’t expected Mu Jin and Leng Xiao to have such a relationship, but Zhuang Hongwen accepted it well.

After all, in this era, same-sex relationships were not uncommon, especially since same-sex marriage had long been legal in H country.

In Zhuang Hongwen’s view, as long as two people genuinely love each other and can be together, it is a fortunate thing. However, Zhuang Hongwen himself prefers women more.

Easily calming the man next to him with a sentence, Mu Jin can finally talk about some other topics with his friend.

As soon as Mu Jin got into the main topic, the young man naturally became serious. Through conversation with Mu Jin and his guidance, he quickly identified his own shortcomings.

The two of them chatted very harmoniously, and time passed unnoticed until noon. Around that time, Leng Xiao decided it was time and entered the kitchen to prepare lunch for himself and Mu Jin. Of course, there was no intention to include Zhuang Hongwen.

The delicious and well-presented dishes were soon placed on the table. Zhuang Hongwen couldn’t help but swallow saliva, completely unexpected that the seemingly icy and terrifying man, Leng Xiao, would have such excellent cooking skills.

It seemed that Leng Xiao took meticulous care of Wu Jue. No wonder such a lovely person would choose to fall in love with such a man. If someone treated him so considerately, perhaps he would also feel moved.

However, why, after looking around, there were only two sets of bowls and chopsticks on the table? Where was his portion?

Zhuang Hongwen dared not look at Leng Xiao, so he could only look pitifully at Mu Jin. However, Mu Jin, who understood his lover’s nature very well, apologized and smiled at Zhuang Hongwen, saying, “Sorry, we’re having lunch now. You should head back, and welcome to visit my home again next time.”

Hearing Mu Jin’s words, Zhuang Hongwen was dumbfounded. He didn’t expect to be left out of lunch.

Feeling quite aggrieved, he couldn’t help but complain in his mind. This man named Leng Xiao was too stingy, not even giving him a meal.

Even if they didn’t prepare for him, they should have told him to leave earlier. Watching them enjoy delicious food with such a tantalizing aroma was simply too cruel!

Although he felt very wronged, the young man didn’t want to linger further in front of the tempting food. He could still sense that Mr. Leng Xiao, the man next to Mu Jin, was quite possessive. Disturbing them for so long might cause inconvenience.

A certain person with an exceptionally long reflex arc finally realized the reason for Leng Xiao’s cold attitude towards him. He glanced apologetically at Mu Jin, stood up, and planned to say goodbye and leave.

Unexpectedly, before he could speak, he heard the sound of the main door opening not far away.

“Xiao Jin, sister is back.”

A sweet voice came, surprising Zhuang Hongwen as he turned to see a tall and charming woman entering.

She had light makeup, dressed professionally, and wore a bright smile on her face.

Zhuang Hongwen could swear he had never seen such a beautiful girl in his life, at least in his perception.

Moreover, this girl not only had a beautiful appearance but also seemed to exude a certain charm that he couldn’t describe, leaving him unable to look away.

Unable to control his wildly beating heart, the young man stood there stupidly, not knowing how to react for a while, feeling a bit at a loss.

Nervous and overwhelmed, he couldn’t find words to say despite opening his mouth several times until he heard Mu Jin happily call, “Sister.” Only then did Zhuang Hongwen manage to recover.

Hearing Mu Jin’s call, Mu Yaqin’s mood improved. She then noticed Zhuang Hongwen standing there and looked at Mu Jin with some inquiry.

Mu Jin immediately introduced his sister to the main guest, “Sister, this is Zhuang Hongwen, the one I mentioned to you, Old A. He is the most outstanding member of our team and came today to see me.”

Mu Yaqin nodded quickly at the words, showing a sweet smile towards Zhuang Hongwen, and said, “Oh, you’re Xiao Jin’s friend. He often mentions you. Thank you for taking care of my brother for such a long time. I’m Mu Yaqin, nice to meet you.”

While speaking, she extended a friendly hand. Trying to express goodwill to her brother’s friend who came home for the first time.

Thinking about how her brother’s autistic condition had improved so much that he even had friends visiting, her mood was a bit excited.

Mu Yaqin had been in the business world for many years, although not old, she was good at reading people. Looking at the young man in front of her, although he had dyed hair and dressed a bit oddly, his eyes were clear.

When he looked at her, his baby face blushed, looking silly and quite interesting, making her think that he should be a good-hearted child.

Thinking that Zhuang Hongwen and Mu Jin were about the same age, the sister nodded with satisfaction. Then, she noticed that there were still only two sets of bowls and chopsticks when she looked at Mu Jin and Leng Xiao.

Unable to hold back a wry smile, the sister thought, as expected. Even she, the sister, found it difficult to get a share, let alone this friend who came to their home for the first time.

Sighing inwardly, Mu Yaqin put down the food box she was holding onto the table. Fortunately, today, she had brought quite a bit of packed lunch from the company, and it should be enough for this young man beside her brother.

Turning her head, she looked at the young man beside her, politely saying, “If you don’t mind, stay and eat together. This is what I brought from the company.”

After saying that, she went to the kitchen and brought out two more sets of bowls and chopsticks.

  1. Yea, a quick search on google will show that autism ranges from severity, but often includes difficulty with communicating, social interactions, and often having obsessive interests and repetitive behaviors. I see a lot of translators putting Autism when a character have very unsocial personalities so maybe it’s just how the word is in Chinese?

  2. I think in this arc the author mistaken Post-traumatic stress disorder (ptsd) for autism. As in children they might exhibit the same symptoms. Im not professional so not sure, but it’s definitely not autism.
