Tyrant Meets Paranoid [Quick Transmigration] – Chapter 287

Chapter 287- Gloomy Blood Servant vs. Obsessive Vampire Prince (20)

There were even some leftover crosses and broken artifacts scattered on the ground, along with traces of human blood. It was pretty clear what had happened—someone had definitely targeted Huangfu Jian.

“Those d*mn pests again!” Wallis’s usually calm face twisted with anger.

For years, vampires and humans had lived in peace, and the blood-crazed vampires who used to run wild were pretty much history. The high-ranking vampires wouldn’t even let them off the hook, so humans didn’t even need to step in.

After all, even though vampires were super powerful, humans had the numbers game won by a landslide. The vampires knew that being exposed to the public wouldn’t end well for them.

So, every vampire agreed to lay low, hiding their existence and living secretly among humans. But even with all that, there were still some wannabe “righteous” vampire hunters who were hell-bent on wiping them out.

As one of the few remaining species, vampires figured they’d already made enough compromises by agreeing to live peacefully alongside humans. So, naturally, they weren’t about to let these hunters go around hurting them. In fact, back in the day, they gave those hunters quite the brutal smackdown.

Now, there aren’t many vampire hunters left. Some even realized that modern vampires weren’t the old savage monsters of legend and decided to back off.

But of course, there are always a few extremists who vowed to wipe out every last vampire. So, as soon as Wallis spotted the stuff on the ground, he instantly knew it had to be the work of these vampire hunters—they’d set their sights on Huangfu Jian.

What Wallis couldn’t wrap his head around, though, was why Huangfu Jian had vampire blood in him. He hadn’t sensed a thing before, so how did these hunters even know about it?

Thinking of Mu Jin’s extraordinary concern for Huangfu Jian, Wallis felt as if he had found some answers. However, now was not the time for wild speculation; the most important thing was to help Huangfu Jian regain his sanity.

So Wallis immediately approached Huangfu Jian and released his bloodline pressure in an attempt to make him obedient.

However, although Huangfu Jian was not as powerful as Wallis, he was very strong-willed. His desperate struggle to fight to the death against Wallis after losing his sanity gave Wallis a considerable headache.

He certainly didn’t want to seriously harm Huangfu Jian, so he could only try to restrain him tentatively. However, a newly awakened vampire was not so easy to deal with.

In a moment of desperation, Wallis quickly tore open his shirt and lunged forward to embrace Huangfu Jian, pressing his head against his neck. He hoped to calm the agitation caused by the awakening of the bloodline by letting Huangfu Jian drink his blood, ideally restoring his consciousness.

The deliciousness of high-level vampire blood was unmatched by that of humans, and right now, the powerful, delicious blood coursing through Wallis’s veins was right in front of him. This made it impossible for the completely irrational Huangfu Jian to resist his instincts.

At first, when Huangfu Jian faced those humans, he only thought of them as annoying flies that he wanted to swat away. Even when he smelled the blood leaking from them, he found it foul and disgusting, feeling quite repulsed.

But facing this person who held him tightly, Huangfu Jian only felt an extraordinarily rich aroma tempting him, making it impossible for him to resist his body’s instincts. He opened his mouth, bared his fangs, and bit down hard on Wallis’s neck.

“Mm!” Unable to suppress a muffled groan, Wallis experienced being bitten by another vampire for the first time in his life.

Although he had heard that being drained of blood could feel euphoric, once he truly experienced it, he realized that the rumors paled in comparison to the actual sensation.

Although Wallis also fed on blood, he did not have any particular preference for food. Even though he wasn’t as averse to physical contact as Mu Jin, who only drank blood from a cup, Wallis also did not choose overly intimate ways of feeding.

For Wallis, consuming blood was merely a means to satiate his hunger while maintaining his strength. He would select blood servants with good qualities and quickly drink from their wrists. As for embracing someone closely while feeding, that had never occurred to him.

However, at this moment, while holding Huangfu Jian, Wallis deeply felt the beauty of having his beloved’s body pressed tightly against his own. His pupils became slightly unfocused, and he yearned for more contact.

The hidden color of his eyes gradually turned back to a blood-red hue, and his fangs extended from his mouth. After the person in his arms finally released him, Wallis couldn’t help but lift his head and bite down hard on Huangfu Jian’s neck.

Wallis’s expression looked incredibly fierce, but Huangfu Jian, who had just satisfied his hunger by drinking blood, became obedient instead. Although Huangfu Jian had not yet regained full consciousness, he instinctively felt a sense of closeness to the man holding him.

The other person’s scent was truly pleasant, and the taste of blood was exceptionally sweet. Huangfu Jian breathed deeply, and the pain in his neck almost vanished in an instant; he felt only tenderness and affection from the person embracing him.

As the other began to drink his blood, bringing him pleasure, Huangfu Jian instinctively closed his eyes, revealing a look of enjoyment.

Fortunately, Wallis quickly regained his rationality and did not drink too much blood from Huangfu Jian. However, it must be said that the experience of being drained by his beloved while also tasting his lover’s blood left him immensely satisfied and further affirmed his feelings for the person in his arms.

Wallis could tell that Huangfu Jian’s face was still filled with confusion, but he couldn’t help but extend his fair, slender fingers to grip Huangfu Jian’s chin and give him a deep kiss on the lips. He then tentatively deepened the kiss, exchanging an exceptionally passionate moment with the man in his arms.

After the kiss, Wallis continued to caress his beloved’s cheek, his eyes filled with unmasked obsession. Holding the man tightly in his embrace, he felt his slender waist, and after tasting him, Wallis only wanted to press this man down onto the bed and shower him with affection.

Both men were tall; one was ruggedly masculine, while the other was gentle and handsome. If one were to distinguish closely, the handsome man appeared to be even taller.

At this moment, Huangfu Jian, who had completely calmed down and become obedient, was effortlessly lifted by Wallis and gently placed in the passenger seat of his car. Wallis then searched Huangfu Jian’s body until he found his car keys, and drove him straight back to the Makavi family estate.

Upon returning to the estate, Wallis immediately settled Huangfu Jian in his room and then hurried to find Mu Jin.

After all, the awakening of Huangfu Jian’s bloodline was too sudden. It was evident that Huangfu Jian’s current state was not that of a transformed bloodsucker; rather, his blood already contained the bloodline of a vampire. Although he had some guesses in his mind, he still needed to confirm this with Mu Jin.

It was already quite late, and Wallis knew that Mu Jin would be resting with Huangfu Yu at this hour. However, he couldn’t care less about that; his concern for his beloved took precedence.

So, he quietly stood outside Mu Jin’s door, knowing that his master would sense his presence.

For a high-ranking vampire, the innate alertness made Mu Jin quickly notice Wallis outside the door.

After glancing at the man sleeping deeply on the bed, Mu Jin leaned over and kissed his beloved’s cheek before carefully getting out of bed. He opened the door and stepped outside. After nodding to Wallis, they both went to the study next door.

“Did he awaken his vampire bloodline so soon?” Mu Jin furrowed his brow upon hearing Wallis describe the situation with Huangfu Jian, but there was no trace of surprise on his face. This eased Wallis’s mind, as it seemed his master had long known about Huangfu Jian’s uniqueness.

Mu Jin indeed knew that Huangfu Jian’s blood would awaken eventually, but he hadn’t expected it to happen so quickly. Not only had it occurred much earlier than in the original storyline, but according to Wallis, it had involved vampire hunters this time.

In the original plot, Huangfu Jian was able to awaken his bloodline simply because he encountered a group of ordinary robbers. At that time, the male protagonist was under life-threatening circumstances, which triggered the awakening of his vampire bloodline. But now, why had vampire hunters gotten involved?

Mu Jin suspected that the actions at the previous banquet had led to some narrative changes; however, he didn’t consider Huangfu Jian’s earlier awakening of the bloodline to be particularly significant.

According to Wallis, although Huangfu Jian’s awakening was sudden, none of the vampire hunters had died at the hands of the enraged Huangfu Jian; instead, they all managed to retreat. Moreover, Huangfu Jian had been fortunate enough to be discovered by Wallis, who brought him back to the estate.

Mu Jin’s fingers gently tapped the table as he contemplated the recent events, trying to identify anything unusual. Combining this with the storyline, Mu Jin felt that the sudden appearance of these vampire hunters likely had something to do with the Huangfu family.

“Master, can we allow Huangfu Jian to stay at the estate for the time being? I will take care of him myself.”

When Wallis said this to Mu Jin, his tone carried a hint of pleading, but his attitude was exceptionally resolute.

The estate served as the stronghold of the Malkavian family, and outsiders couldn’t easily trespass unless they were part of their own group.

Even though the Huangfu family would send blood servants every thirty years, they did not send them directly to the estate. Instead, the Malkavian family would designate a location, and both parties would send people to that designated spot to pick them up before bringing them to the estate.
