Mu Junhao was immediately shocked by this revelation, and Mu Jin appeared to waver, showing signs of belief. Persuaded by the concerned protagonist, Mu Jin hesitated but eventually handed over the jade pendant when the Taoist priest offered to purify it in the backyard.

Sensing that Gu Yang and the priest were trying to deceive him, Mo Yan had considered intervening but decided to wait until he was out of Mu Jin’s sight. Despite the unpleasant energy of the temple, its power was weak, and even the talisman’s power was negligible.
Mo Yan had thought he could simply burn the talisman without consequence, having been sealed for many years and finally regaining his strength. He despised sealing talismans. But unexpectedly, although the talisman burned easily, it still exposed his true form.

He tried to entice Mo Yan, saying, “I know you are the jade spirit of this pendant.
