Qiao Huaiyao hesitated, no longer pressing the issue of the title and asked, “Are you at my brother’s place?”
“Yeah, I’m here,” Lu Lu, being the assistant, naturally had to be there in such situations.
He glanced at Bai Jinyan, who was sitting alone on the nearby sofa, and didn’t immediately hand over the phone, asking, “Do you need something from Brother Bai?”
Qiao Huaiyao took off the coat hanging at the entrance and asked, “Is he drunk?”

Bai Jinyan said lightly, “Lu Lu.”
“Sigh!” As soon as he hung up the phone, Lu Lu hurried over to Bai Jinyan, asking, “What is it, Brother Bai?”
Bai Jinyan propped his chin with one hand, coldly flipping through the menu in front of him and said coldly, “This page, for takeout.”
“Okay, Brother Bai.” Lu Lu glanced at the menu, didn’t take it, but noted which page it was, then turned and went to find a waiter.
With many people from the crew, coupled with the joy of winning awards and the investors funding the project, the director had rented the entire restaurant.
In this vast space, only Bai Jinyan was relatively quiet, while the rest of the place was chaotic.

Lu Lu was afraid that Qiao Huaiyao would have trouble finding the place, so he went out to wait after placing the order.
The car came and immediately greeted him.
While escorting people inside, Lu Lu said, “Brother Bai might not be in a good mood right now. If he’s a bit off with you later… don’t get angry at him, okay?”
Qiao Huaiyao furrowed his brows and asked, “What’s going on?”
“It’s not much, actually.” Lu Lu was just being cautious, “Brother Bai’s personality is quite cold, to begin with. After drinking, he’s like ‘don’t stand within three meters of me.'”

Qiao Huaiyao nodded, just a temper tantrum, it was fine as long as his brother was okay.
Upon careful thought, Qiao Huaiyao realized he had never seen Bai Jinyan drunk in front of him.
Bai Jinyan was calm and composed, not allowing himself to get drunk. Qiao Huaiyao guessed he might just be slightly tipsy.
The director came out from inside and coincidentally saw Lu Lu coming in. He glanced at Qiao Huaiyao next to him.
Recognizing him from the awards ceremony when he was sitting beside Bai Jinyan.
Lu Lu took the initiative to introduce, “This is the director, Mu Hengtian, Director Mu.”
Qiao Huaiyao greeted, “Hello, Director Mu.”
“You’re Bai’s younger brother, right?” Mu Hengtian smiled and said, “Hello, hello. Looking for your brother? He’s over there, just a few steps ahead, you’ll see him.”
Qiao Huaiyao had already spotted him. There was no one around, and Bai Jinyan was sitting there alone, quite conspicuous.

A faint smile softened his expression, and there was a hint of warmth.
“Why did you come over?” He looked a little puzzled, glancing at his phone. He reached out and held Qiao Huaiyao’s hand.
