Although awards other than those from the production team didn’t fall into their hands, winning an award had already proven the movie’s worth.
A celebratory banquet was essential.
Qiao Huaiyao asked, “Does the celebratory banquet have to go on until dawn? Will you be back very late?”
Bai Jinyan thought for a moment and said, “I’ll try to come back early.”

Although Qiao Huaiyao was very familiar with Bai Jinyan, he never got distracted while watching Bai Jinyan’s movies.
A good actor could seamlessly blend into every script, immersing the viewers in the scenes of the script without even realizing it.
Some people online joked that Bai Jinyan had a face like an idol, leaving a lasting impression on people.
However, when watching the drama, he felt that Bai Jinyan was a character in the play.
Qiao Huaiyao had only been sitting for a short while when he saw Bai Jinyan coming out of the study, nibbling on the potato chips in his hand.
He looked at the time, thinking he had made a mistake. “Are you done already?”
It seemed like there were still some data entries to be completed. Why was it so fast?
“A little bit more,” Bai Jinyan came out with his laptop and sat next to Qiao Huaiyao.
Homework was the same wherever it was done, and there wouldn’t be a difference in the results of filling in the content. The only difference might be that using a laptop in the living room allowed him to accompany Qiao Huaiyao while watching a movie.
After Bai Jinyan sat down, he didn’t say much and quietly typed on the keyboard.
His fingertips occasionally controlled the mouse to scroll on the touchpad.
The sound was very soft, and the movie Qiao Huaiyao was playing was at a normal volume, so he could hardly hear Bai Jinyan typing.
He watched the movie while occasionally feeding Bai Jinyan some snacks.
Now there was hardly any noticeable gap between Qiao Huaiyao and Bai Jinyan.
Bai Jinyan paused, and although Qiao Huaiyao’s face appeared normal, he didn’t seem to notice.
He hovered his hand over the keyboard, not pressing down. Suddenly, he called his name, “Huaiyao.”

Bai Jinyan leaned down and kissed him on the lips, a faint smile on his lips as he said, “Nothing.”

Bai Jinyan raised his hand and ruffled his head, saying, “Continue watching the movie.”
Qiao Huaiyao blinked lightly. He pursed his lips, picked up the lemonade with ice on the table, and took a few sips.
The movie playing on TV was one that Qiao Huaiyao had actually seen before. Since his brother’s debut until now, he remembered the plot of every work.
He had supported Bai Jinyan before and even bought out a cinema for his movie.
A movie lasted two hours.
Bai Jinyan handled his assignment halfway through, closed his laptop, and put it aside.
He watched the latter half of this movie with Qiao Huaiyao.
