The Escaping Little Snow White Ferret from the Black Moonlight Camp – Chapter 35

Chapter 35 – Sweetheart from the Sky: The Gentle CEO’s Sweet Kiss (35)

“That couple next door? They don’t even respect or care for the parents who gave birth to and raised them. The elderly and the young in their family all have to work to support their indulgent lifestyle. Human trafficking, leeching off others—they’re worse than vampires. And you actually sympathize with them? Even if you ate bird’s nest soup every day, it wouldn’t be enough to fix your useless brain…”

“And as for Dan Xiaowen—don’t think I don’t know that she was the one who tipped them off about my whereabouts. That’s all she’s good for. Just like you, Madam Dan—playing cheap, underhanded tricks…”

“No brains, no sense, and always throwing herself at people…”

“And you.” Bai Mo turned to Ji Jian. “You’re not as brainless as Dan Xiaowen, are you?”

He’s going all out. Mo Mo has lost it. Xiao Bobao was utterly shocked. It remembered when it first met this little snow ferret—he hadn’t been like this at all. Could this be the legendary power of knowledge?

Ji Jian’s mouth twitched. “Do I look like someone who throws himself at others?”

The boy studied him for a few seconds before nodding sincerely. “Yes.”

Xiao Bobao: “……” Hahaha! Absolutely ruthless. My Mo Mo!

Ji Jian and Madam Dan felt a headache coming on. Their vision darkened. Unable to endure another second in the office, they stood up and decided to get some fresh air—any longer in here, and they might actually die from rage.

Meanwhile, He Yuchi had just received news: The Bai couple had been following Bai Mo and were captured by Jianxin Corporation.

It was five in the afternoon. In ten minutes, He Yuchi had an important meeting to preside over. But upon hearing that Bai Mo had been taken, work and meetings were the last things on his mind. He left everything in his assistant’s hands, grabbed his car keys, and ran straight to the parking lot.

Jianxin Corporation was located in a remote area, and its employees tended to leave work early. An hour and a half later, the company was almost entirely empty.

Outside, the sky was gradually darkening. From time to time, a crow cawed, and the rustling of leaves in the otherwise silent surroundings created an eerie atmosphere.

The tea on the table had long gone cold. Bai Mo sat on the sofa, listening as the noise outside faded from a bustling crowd to absolute silence. He felt no fear—if anything, he was bored.

The office window was secured with burglar bars, and the door was locked. Even if he wanted to leave, he had no way out. All he could do was sit and daydream.

Just as he was reminiscing about the delicious meals Mother He used to cook, the electronic lock on the door suddenly beeped—someone was entering a password.

Bai Mo caught a strange scent in the air. His previously sluggish mind suddenly sharpened, but at the same time, he felt his strength gradually fading. Just as Xiao Bobao system detected what it was, it immediately warned him, “Mo Mo, hold your breath! Don’t inhale it!”

Three men in black suits and sunglasses entered the room. Bai Mo looked at them and found them somewhat familiar.

“Xiao Bobao, have I seen them somewhere before?” The boy had yet to realize the danger and was searching his memory for information on them. “Who are they?”

By this time, Bai Mo had already inhaled a fair amount of the substance brought in by the men in black. The Xiao Bobao was close to despair. “They’re the ones who kidnapped you and Ning Ning before! Mo Mo, stop breathing in their drug! Quick, spray the stimulant to stay awake!”

As it spoke, the system pulled out the last bit of remaining mental recovery spray and sprayed it at Bai Mo.

“That’s a sedative. Not only will it weaken your body, but it will also induce… certain urges.” Spray more! Stay awake! Mo Mo, don’t fall for it!

The boy suddenly realized—so it was them! No wonder they looked familiar.

These men had been summoned by Ji Jian. Fueled by Madam Dan’s instigations, Ji Jian grew angrier the more he thought about it.

On top of that, his informant had just reported that He Yuchi was on his way. Under Madam DShan’s suggestive words, Ji Jian was persuaded—He Yuchi might have avoided commercial retaliation, but what about a psychological blow?

Wasn’t He Yuchi rushing over to rescue his fiancé? But what if, when he finally arrived, he found his fiancé beneath another man…? What a spectacular sight that would be.

Madam Dan was quite pleased with herself for successfully manipulating Ji Jian. Unfortunately, she was pressed for time and had to rush to the airport to meet Wenwen, meaning she wouldn’t be able to witness such an exciting event in person. However, the office had surveillance cameras—she could simply connect her phone and watch the live broadcast. She was sure that once Wenwen saw it, she would feel utterly satisfied.

As Madam Dan called for a car to take her to the airport, Ji Jian warned her, “No one else is to see those recordings. If any of them get leaked, you won’t get a single cent.”

“As long as you don’t act recklessly, I’ll keep my promise. Once I’ve settled abroad, I’ll hand over every single backup to you.”

Before her lover, Old Wu, got into trouble, he had already given her incriminating evidence. What Bai Mo had seen was just a fraction—there was much more in Madam Dan’s possession. And only she knew where it was hidden.

She had been using that evidence to threaten Ji Jian into arranging an escape for her and her daughter. If Ji Jian refused to cooperate, she was more than willing to go down with him.

Ji Jian was temporarily forced to agree to all of Madam Dan’s demands. As she got into the car and it drove away, he let out a cold chuckle. “A mere woman dares to threaten me? Old Wu, Old Wu, I really underestimated you.”

Who would have thought that his most trusted vice president’s most trusted person would turn out to be his own lover? And worse, that said lover, when backed into a corner, would use the evidence in hand to blackmail him into providing a way out.

There were two things Ji Jian hated most in life—first, the He family, and second, betrayal from his own people. Unfortunately, today, he had encountered both. His gaze turned ice-cold as he flicked his cigarette to the ground and crushed it beneath his foot. “Enjoy your last few days of peace while you still can.”

The trafficking operation had originally been handed to Old Wu by Ji Jian himself. Madam Dan, who had no real power or influence, was insignificant in his eyes. As long as he could retrieve all the evidence, she would be the one to suffer.

“When He Yuchi arrives, bring him to Office Building No. 3,” Ji Jian ordered the security guard coldly. He wanted to witness He Yuchi break down in pain and despair right in front of him.

Inside the Office

Under the effects of Xiao Bobao’s recovery spray, Bai Mo continued breathing normally, as though he had fully inhaled the drug brought by the men in black. In reality, he remained completely unaffected.

There were quite a few of them, so Bai Mo leaned back on the sofa, pretending to be weak and exhausted. Using a simple breath-holding trick, he even flushed his pale cheeks red, giving the illusion that he had succumbed to the drug. By the time Ji Jian returned to the office, what he saw was a breathtaking scene.

A beautiful young man lay weakly on the sofa, his face tinged with a rosy hue, his misty eyes staring straight at him with an inexplicable, alluring gaze.

Ji Jian’s desire surged instantly. With a wave of his hand, he dismissed the men in black from the room. However, he deliberately left the door slightly ajar—just enough for He Yuchi to push it open himself when he arrived.

Ji Jian wanted He Yuchi to walk into his worst nightmare, and to make sure everything went according to plan, the men in black had gone downstairs to the laboratory to prepare more sedatives.

The moment Bai Mo was sure they had all left, Ji Jian moved to undo his clothes and pounce—only for Bai Mo to swiftly roll off the sofa, spring to his feet, and deliver a brutal kick straight to Ji Jian’s cr*tch.

“F*ck you! You think you can take advantage of me?”

Xiao Bobao sighed dramatically. “Ah~ such poetic and elegant Huaguo language~”
