His tone trailed off, leaving unclear whether he mocked himself, the sword, or conveyed another meaning altogether.

Little Pink sensed the power emanating from the sword and felt indignant. It seemed designed to put Yan Luo in mortal danger, something she had witnessed earlier.

Her body felt weak, but the black mist no longer permeated Yan Luo’s body.

“This is a hidden cavern I found earlier, Master. Rest assured, no one will find us here,” Yun Ze softly replied, nestled in Yan Luo’s embrace, resting against her scent, a glint of light flickering in his eyes.
