Unable to maintain her stance in mid-air any longer, she plummeted downward.
The black demonic aura wrapped around her, dragging Yan Luo down into the abyss of the demonic lair.
In the pitch-black cave, black demonic energy permeated everywhere. A girl, radiant enough to rival the sun and moon, lay with her eyes closed, surrounded by a faint light blue barrier. However, the black energy was pervasive.
Slowly, it infiltrated, staining half of the light blue barrier. It became an entangled mix of light and dark, pure yet sinister.
Yan Luo let out a soft groan as she slowly opened her eyes, confusion flickering in them. She pressed her lips tightly together against the pain of the clashing forces within her.
Her hair tie was nowhere to be seen, and her black hair fluttered behind her. The once-loose Daoist robe had been torn to shreds during her fall. Her face, once untouchable and divine, was now surrounded by a stark contrast of black mist and pale skin.
She resembled an angel who had just fallen into hell, struggling and sinking between light and darkness.

Little Pink’s voice was worried as Yan Luo gazed downward in silence.

Yan Luo’s expression was calm, betraying no emotion. She raised her hand slightly, watching as the black energy coiled around her fingers, trying to be intimate but too fearful to touch her fully.
After a long silence, Yan Luo bit her lip gently, “Good thing I exchanged for pain reduction earlier. Damn it, can it really be like this??!!”
Once tainted by the demonic energy, it couldn’t be completely eradicated. Even if she discarded the infected part of her spiritual power, it was only a temporary measure. The demonic energy would soon return.
