[Entertainment Circle] First Love Behavior Art (BL) – Chapter 80

This chapter is brought to you K, thanks for the ko-fi!  (人´∀`*)

Song Jianchu couldn’t fall asleep.

Hearing the sound of Mu Ye closing the door and leaving, he slowly opened his eyes. He searched in the drawer for his phone and called Yin Chi.

Yin Chi said, “I was about to call you. Why is your phone turned off?”

“Has Song Yan come out?” Song Jianchu asked.

“I need to tell you this in person,” Yin Chi sighed, “That idiot has been released. I don’t know if he’ll end up back inside, so we have to find him now. Are you feeling better? Can you come with me now? I can’t stand it anymore. I’ll take you for revenge, brother.”

Song Jianchu put on clothes, a hat, and a mask. “Come pick me up.”

Yin Chi quickly arrived, and Song Jianchu got in the car with a suitcase. He saw several baseball bats on the back seat of the car.

Yin Chi changed into black clothes and wore a black duckbill hat to cover himself tightly. He looked at Song Jianchu with concern and said, “Are you feeling better now? Has the fever subsided?”

Song Jianchu covered his mouth and coughed. “No.”

Yin Chi still worried and threw a cashmere scarf from the car to him. “Wear this scarf, don’t freeze while chasing that idiot. You’ve been weak lately.”

“Do you know where he is?” Song Jianchu put on the scarf.

“I’m keeping a close eye on him,” Yin Chi sneered and started the car. “That bastard has crossed my bottom line. As long as he’s on this earth, he won’t be able to escape anywhere.”

While in the car, Song Jianchu took out his phone and sent a WeChat message to Mu Ye: [Mu Ye, I need to go out for something. Don’t come back here, wait for me at home.]

He waited for a few seconds, but Mu Ye didn’t reply.

Song Jianchu called Song Yan, but no one answered.

“No need to call. That idiot broke his phone,” Yin Chi noticed and chuckled, “He was just blocked by your boyfriend.”

Song Jianchu was startled and frowned. “Did Mu Ye go to find Song Yan?”

Yin Chi couldn’t help but laugh. “Mu Ye went with some people. Bai Ye took the initiative. That idiot is still lying on the ground. We need to hurry. If we missed the first wave, we still need to pour some salt on his wounds while it’s hot.”

“…”

Song Jianchu felt a complicated mix of emotions and couldn’t help but smile.

His phone vibrated, and Mu Ye replied to his message.

[Mu Ye: Have you already left?]

[Song Jianchu: Yes, things here are finished. I’m going back.]

He hesitated for a moment, then Song Jianchu let out a sigh of relief.

[Song Jianchu: Mu Ye, thank you.]

[Song Jianchu: I’ll talk to you when I get back.]

After a few seconds, Mu Ye replied.

[Mu Ye: Okay, [hug]. I’ll wait for you at home. Come back soon.]

As if hearing Mu Ye’s gentle tone, Song Jianchu’s lips curled up helplessly, and he put away his phone.

“Jianchu,” Yin Chi suddenly said, “You seem different lately.”

“Do I?” Song Jianchu looked confused.

“Yeah,” Yin Chi smiled, “You’ve become gentler.”

“…,” Song Jianchu’s gaze became vacant.

“To be honest, you used to be quite introverted and not easy to get along with. You never asked me for help,” Yin Chi said, “After getting to know Mu Ye, you’ve changed a lot.”

Song Jianchu thought for a moment but didn’t feel that he had changed.

“So it’s true that you should be with exceptional people,” Yin Chi sighed, “You’ve become so gentle, and he treats you so well. Sometimes I feel a bit jealous.”

Song Jianchu snapped back to reality and smirked, turning his face away. “Don’t disgust me.”

“Damn,” Yin Chi chuckled, “Even dogs can get jealous. Can’t brothers get jealous? I want to beat your boyfriend to the punch!”

“It’s not necessary,” Song Jianchu replied casually.

“Do you use the same insincere tone with your boyfriend?” Yin Chi laughed.

Song Jianchu chuckled and said lightly, “Then should I kiss you?”

Yin Chi was shocked for a few seconds, shivered, and couldn’t believe his ears. “Who did you learn all these dirty words from? Don’t scare me, brother.”

Song Jianchu silently laughed and glanced out the window, feeling a sense of relief.

Song Yan’s face was bruised. He had just come out of a convenience store carrying alcohol when he saw a black sports car parked at the entrance of his rental house. A person dressed in black holding a baseball bat was leaning against the car, keeping an eye on him.

Seeing another person lazily sitting in the car, Song Yan’s pupils trembled, and he took a step back. “… What are you going to do?”

Yin Chi lowered his hat brim and walked over, saying in a low voice, “I’m going to beat you, you idiot.”

“!!!”

Is this ever going to end!

Song Yan cursed in his mind, dropped the shopping bag, and ran away. He was hit with a bat on his side as someone behind him kicked him into the alley in front.

Song Yan chose to move here initially to hide from debt, but he didn’t expect to be blocked by someone else.

The alley echoed with his screams once again.

These kinds of incidents happened frequently in this area, and the neighbors were used to it. No one cared and closed their doors and windows.

Song Jianchu sat in the car with a tired expression. He crossed his arms and waited for five minutes, feeling that it was enough disturbance for the neighbors. He got out of the car calmly.

He glanced at the person cowering in the corner, his voice indifferent. “That’s enough.”

Yin Chi was not satisfied, so he reluctantly threw away the baseball bat in his hand and lit a cigarette to calm down.

He threatened in a low voice, “Song Yan, if you dare to call the police or do anything, let’s see who can handle whom. But remember, if your mom dares to do anything again, she’ll spend the rest of her life in a wheelchair.”

Song Yan was already convinced and kept silent, cowering.

Song Jianchu saw that Song Yan had his hands in his coat pocket and didn’t show any emotion as he looked at him. He said calmly, “You stay in the car, I want to talk to you.”

Yin Chi patted Song Jianchu’s shoulder and walked out of the alley.

Song Jianchu stood in front of Song Yan, coldly and indifferently assessing his miserable face.

“Come on, let’s fight!” Song Yan gritted his teeth.

Song Jianchu took out a card and handed it over. “There’s five million in the card.”

Song Yan hesitated and looked up, sneering mockingly. “What’s the meaning of this? Are you dreaming that I’ll donate bone marrow to you?”

“Don’t worry, I won’t force you if you don’t want to. It’s for the burial of your second uncle.”

“Take your money and get lost!” Song Yan angrily said, “It’s because of you that my dad died!”

Song Jianchu spoke in a calm tone, “Song Yan, if you were a bit clear-headed, you would know that your second uncle had nothing to do with me.”

“How dare you say that?!” Song Yan glared, his eyes red. “If you had been willing to help when Suk went bankrupt, I wouldn’t have ended up like this!”

Song Jianchu said, “You and your dad already ruined Grandpa’s company. Isn’t it difficult for you to take responsibility for your own mistakes?”

Song Yan was so angry that he trembled. “Song Jianchu, you’re terrifying. How can there be such a cold-blooded person like you…? Have you ever thought about the fact that my family has been supporting you all these years?”

Song Jianchu smiled meaningfully.

“What are you laughing at?” Song Yan was annoyed.

“That’s how my dad passed away. You must have heard about it,” Song Jianchu said calmly. “Back then, when there was a successful match with your second uncle, he agreed to donate bone marrow only if he could have a 50% stake in my dad’s company. We had already done the preoperative chemotherapy, but your second uncle regretted it before the surgery.”

“The chemotherapy before bone marrow transplantation destroys the entire immune system. If the transplant is not done within six days, the person will die. Grandpa took me to beg your second uncle, and I kneeled for him at that time, even though I didn’t understand why I had to kneel.”

Song Jianchu’s words were almost unfamiliar, completely different from what Song Yan had heard from his dad.

Song Yan’s face gradually turned pale. “It’s impossible. You’re making it up… My dad never had a successful match.”

Song Jianchu was undisturbed and continued calmly, “Your second uncle also used the opportunity to extort Grandpa, forcing him to give up the inheritance rights to the company that were originally meant for my dad. Grandpa was healthy at the time, and my dad’s management abilities were superior. If it weren’t for your second uncle’s coercion, how could Grandpa trust him to inherit the company?”

“…What trick are you trying to play?” Song Yan’s expression wavered. “What you’re saying has no evidence. How do I know if you are just bluffing?”

“You can choose not to believe, but this is the truth. I have no interest in fabricating a tragedy in my own family,” Song Jianchu said calmly. “On the sixth day of the failed donation, your second uncle donated the bone marrow, but it was already too late. The surgery was bound to fail. If your dad had initially refused the donation, my dad said he could have lived for a few more years. There was a chance for a complete cure through matching in the bone marrow registry or with a kind-hearted stranger.”

Song Jianchu’s voice turned colder. “The failed donation before the bone marrow transplant is no different from killing someone.”

“It’s impossible,” Song Yan muttered, shaking his head. “My dad loved money, but he wouldn’t go that far. Thankfully, he kindly took you in and supported you for ten years…”

“It’s true that your second uncle acted as my guardian for a period of time. The money in this card is my way of repaying his kindness. Use it for his burial,” Song Jianchu bent down and put the card in Song Yan’s pocket, then straightened up and said, “From now on, our blood relationship ends here. Your family has nothing to do with me anymore.”

Song Yan was still immersed in his own world, his eyes gradually turning red. “It’s impossible, it’s not like this…”

“I won’t force you to go through with the bone marrow matching. I don’t want to become like my dad,” Song Jianchu looked at the person who used to be so prosperous, and finally gave his advice, “Some people may live in poverty for their whole lives, but they still manage to live well. Take care of yourself.”

Song Yan remained silent.

Song Jianchu turned and walked away.

As Song Jianchu walked out of the alley, he suddenly felt dizzy and nauseous. He stopped and covered his chest, took a deep breath, and when he looked up, he saw Yin Chi standing not far away.

Yin Chi was worried that his brother would suffer, so he didn’t dare to go far.

“…,” Yin Chi obviously hadn’t come back to his senses yet. His face was grim, and his gaze hesitated. “Jianchu, when you mentioned bone marrow matching… does it mean what I was thinking?”

Song Jianchu’s lips turned pale, and he couldn’t hear clearly as his ears were ringing. He leaned against the wall to steady himself, and his vision quickly darkened. He slid his hand along the rough wall and slowly knelt on the ground.

“Jianchu!”

Yin Chi rushed over and supported him. “Jianchu!”

Mu Ye went back home and intended to bring his belongings to the new place. He saved Song Jianchu’s WeChat contact.

Mu Ye put down his things and sat on the sofa absentmindedly, scrolling through Weibo for a while. He got up and went into the new house’s music studio, took down the guitar that Song Jianchu had given him.

He turned on the video recording function on his phone, lightly plucked a few guitar strings, a faint smile appeared on his lips, and his fingertips smoothly played the melody that had already taken shape in his mind…

The song was completely recorded, and Mu Ye sent the video to Gu Jiaming.

Gu Jiaming was worried about Mu Ye and went to look for Song Yan. When he saw the video, he sat up in shock.

[Gu Jiaming: !!!!!!!]

[Gu Jiaming: When was this written??]

[Gu Jiaming: Is this the one!! The title track of the new album!! It’s amazing!! 😭😭]

[Gu Jiaming: Come to the studio tomorrow! Let’s arrange the production immediately!]

[MY: This song won’t be included in the album.]

Gu Jiaming was stunned.

[Gu Jiaming: Aren’t you satisfied?]

[MY: I only plan to sing it once at the concert.]

Gu Jiaming understood instantly.

[Gu Jiaming: Is it a song written for your significant other? Can’t it be released as a single?]

[MY: We’ll see.]

[Gu Jiaming: Have you written the lyrics? Do you have a title for the song?]

Mu Ye thought for a moment.

[MY: “First Love Behavior Art,” what do you think?]

[Gu Jiaming: …]

[Gu Jiaming: That’s great. When I listen to it, I’ll know it’s yours. 😊]

Mu Ye was about to put down his phone.

[Gu Jiaming: I’m really fed up with these unscrupulous marketing accounts spreading rumors all the time! It’s endless!]

[Gu Jiaming: Song Jianchu is really a magnet for haters. No one else gets slandered like this, always saying he’s hospitalized. The hatred from the anti-rich group is terrifying.]

[Gu Jiaming: This marketing account even fabricates detailed stories, and they even posted photos…]

[Gu Jiaming: …Is Song Jianchu with you right now?]

Mu Ye frowned.

[MY: Send it to me.]

Gu Jiaming sent a screenshot of a Weibo post.

Mu Ye opened the screenshot.

He only had time to glance at it when Yin Chi’s call suddenly came in.

Mu Ye immediately answered, “Is Jianchu with you?”

“Teacher Mu, come to the hospital quickly.”

After a momentary dizziness, Song Jianchu regained consciousness after being taken to the hospital. He saw Yin Chi contacting Mu Ye.

Leaning against the hospital bed, he didn’t try to stop him.

“It was dizziness caused by anemia,” the doctor said. “Where were you previously diagnosed? I don’t have any medical records from you.”

Song Jianchu voluntarily confessed, “I have chronic myeloid leukemia.”

Yin Chi took a deep breath.

The doctor nodded and said, “We’ll stabilize your symptoms here for now. If you choose to receive treatment here, I’ll need to contact your primary doctor to retrieve your medical records. Alternatively, you can go back to your previous hospital for treatment.”

Yin Chi temporarily held back his emotions and said, “Let me discuss it and decide. Thank you.”

The doctor left, and Yin Chi rubbed his forehead with a sigh, looking at Song Jianchu.

“Jianchu,” Yin Chi’s eyes reddened, “you’re too strong. If I hadn’t listened today, were you planning to go through it alone? Or were you going to inform me when you had a successful match?”

“I told you today that you’ve changed,” Yin Chi shook his head, “you’re too harsh on yourself.”

“I’m sorry,” Song Jianchu weakly closed his eyes, “I didn’t want to worry you. I didn’t know how to say it.”

Yin Chi fell silent.

“Does Teacher Mu also not know about this? Did you keep it from him too?” Yin Chi’s gaze became complex, and he quickly realized, “So what do we do now? I’ve already called him.”

Song Jianchu replied calmly, “No, thank you.”

“Jianchu, this kind of…” Yin Chi softened his tone and advised, “This isn’t right. You’re no longer in a sponsor relationship. It wouldn’t matter if I found out later, but not telling Mu Ye is deceiving him.”

“I know what I’m doing,” Song Jianchu responded.

Yin Chi choked for a few seconds. “I know you don’t want to worry Mu Ye, but have you considered what if…?”

Yin Chi suddenly remembered what Song Jianchu had said on his birthday, and his heart ached.

“I wondered why your personality suddenly changed, why you did something so unconventional,” Yin Chi finally understood and shook his head. “Mu Ye needs to know what intentions you have in this relationship. How do you expect him to accept this?”

Looking at the pale face on the bed, Yin Chi couldn’t bear to say more.

After a moment of calm, Yin Chi decided to shoulder the burden. “If you can’t say it yourself, I’ll say it for you.”

Yin Chi became completely calm and quickly thought it through. “If you blame me for keeping it from him, there might still be a chance.”

As soon as he finished speaking, the door to the hospital room was pushed open.

Yin Chi inexplicably felt guilty and quickly turned around.

Mu Ye stood at the door and glanced at the person on the bed first.

Song Jianchu and Mu Ye locked eyes.

Mu Ye took off his mask, walked to the bedside, and frowned slightly. His tone was still gentle. “What happened?”

Yin Chi nervously squeezed his sweat and instinctively mumbled, “Anemia, he fainted.”

“Anemia?” Mu Ye assessed Song Jianchu’s pale face, furrowing his brow.

“Yin Chi,” Song Jianchu said calmly, “you should go out first.”

Yin Chi looked at Song Jianchu and sighed, leaving the hospital room irritably.

“Are you still dizzy? How can it be anemia?” Mu Ye sat by the bedside, tenderly caressed Song Jianchu’s face, and looked helpless. “Why did you go out so late again?”

“Teacher Mu,” Song Jianchu gently took a breath and slowly exhaled, “I’m sorry.”

“Sorry for what? Pretending to be asleep?” Mu Ye pretended to laugh lightly. “Chu Chu, you’ve been so mysterious lately.”

Song Jianchu’s eyelashes trembled slightly, and he didn’t dare to meet Mu Ye’s gaze. In a firm tone, he said, “There’s something I haven’t told you all this time. I wanted to find a solution first and then tell you at the right time.”

Mu Ye patiently listened.

“I lied to you.”

Mu Ye raised an eyebrow.

After a moment of confusion, Mu Ye playfully pinched his boyfriend’s overly serious face. “What did you lie to me about? Did you have another lover on the side?”

Song Jianchu pursed his lips, and his face didn’t relax despite the joking tone.

A sense of heaviness inexplicably weighed on Mu Ye’s heart, and his Adam’s apple moved slightly. He quietly looked at the person in front of him without saying another word.

“My dad and grandpa both have chronic myeloid leukemia.”

Song Jianchu closed his eyes. “So do I.”

Mu Ye’s gaze froze, and the smile in his eyes gradually faded.

“Teacher Mu, I’m sorry. I’m not as good as you imagined.”
