The servant replied, “Of course.”
Jiang Yi was accustomed to Shang Lu following him, but this was the first time he was shut out by her like this.

The servant looked hesitant.

Shang Lu entered a small room inside to rest.
Chi Yan stood in front of her, holding a Rubik’s Cube he found somewhere and flipping it. In a short time, he had solved all six faces.
Shang Lu, on the other hand, lowered her head, kicking the cabinet in front of her with the black leather shoes on her feet, seeming a bit bored.
Chi Yan put down the Rubik’s Cube and asked her, “Feeling bored? I observed around before coming in; we can go to the backyard. Want to go out and play?”

Father Chi is really hilarious. No wonder CY took over the rein of their corporation earlier than SM took his even though CY was a few years younger than him. Father Chi might be very excited when he handed over the management to CY, as if he’s escaping an overdue detention. 😅😅😅
