Tyrant Meets Paranoid [Quick Transmigration] – Chapter 64

Chapter 64 – The Cold and Lonely Top Student VS The School Bully Little Wolf Dog (13)

A small curve formed at the corner of his lips. To be honest, Mu Jin understood that young people could easily be confused about emotions, so it was normal for his lover to be indecisive about their relationship.

Moreover, he had been looking forward to this birthday gift.

Hastily taking the bag, Mu Jin carefully opened it, revealing tightly packed, seemingly used notebooks. Opening one at random, he found detailed summaries of all the knowledge points in various subjects from the first to the third year, handwritten by his lover.

Although Qi Changfeng had given him notes before, those were just class notes. Even though he had summarized and organized them later, it couldn’t compare to reorganizing everything after completing the entire three years of high school courses.

These notebooks, though appearing sparse in content, contained the essence. Despite the seemingly limited content, Mu Jin could imagine how much effort his lover had put into compiling them. It was likely that he hadn’t slept well these past few days.

Feeling warmly touched, Mu Jin held the notebooks, considering them his priceless treasures. They made him happier than any other gift because he knew they represented his lover’s sentiments.

Caressing the notebooks lovingly, he noticed that his name was written carefully in the name column. His lover’s handwriting was bold and powerful, much like the person himself – strong-willed and yet tender and caring towards Mu Jin.

Feeling a warmth in his chest, Mu Jin really wanted to hug his lover tightly and kiss him passionately, but he was afraid of startling the young man.

All the grievances from earlier disappeared, and he couldn’t understand why Qi Changfeng would think he wouldn’t like such a fantastic gift.

Watching Mu Jin smiling at the gift he had given, repeatedly touching the cover of the notebooks as if he really liked them, Qi Changfeng’s heart swelled with anticipation.

However, despite not caring about others’ opinions, he suddenly lost confidence, still feeling anxious. He waited eagerly for Mu Jin’s final evaluation.

After browsing through them for a while, Mu Jin looked up, gazing at Qi Changfeng with shining cat-like eyes. Then, he suddenly pounced into his arms, excitedly saying, “Teacher Qi, this gift is just too thoughtful! I’m really happy!”

Hearing Mu Jin’s words, Qi Changfeng finally relaxed, seeing that Mu Jin seemed to genuinely like the gift. He sighed in relief.

Although he had family assets left by his mother and could perhaps afford more expensive gifts, Qi Changfeng had been pondering for a long time about what to give Mu Jin. Considering Mu Jin’s recent efforts in studying, and with both of them preparing for the college entrance exams, their grades were crucial. So, he put a lot of effort into writing these comprehensive notes, believing they would be helpful.

In fact, he also prepared corresponding exercises based on the knowledge points in these notes to assist Mu Jin’s learning. However, he hesitated to show them, fearing Mu Jin’s reaction.

If Mu Jin liked it, he could provide additional exercises later during their study sessions, improving Mu Jin’s grades even further. With Mu Jin’s intelligence, the future was unpredictable, even if they both got into the same school.

Thinking about it, Qi Changfeng’s gaze towards Mu Jin became more heated. Just imagining attending the same school, being in the same class, and maybe even living in the same dormitory, made the young man’s heart yearn.

“Teacher Qi, this is the best gift I’ve received in all these years.” Mu Jin couldn’t help but continue, his eyes full of tenderness.

In reality, anything his lover gave him would be cherished. Especially considering that the handwriting in these notebooks was meticulously written by his lover, Mu Jin couldn’t help but want to take the notebooks out of the small world and treasure them for a lifetime.

Qi Changfeng was momentarily blinded by Mu Jin’s smile, almost lowering his head to kiss him directly. However, as the conversation shifted, he heard Mu Jin saying mischievously, “Even though I love the gift, you still made me angry earlier.”

“I don’t care; you have to make it up to me. Tonight, you’re making a big meal for me!”

Qi Changfeng nodded subconsciously at the words. Seeing Mu Jin happy, he felt relieved. However, he suddenly thought that today was Mu Jin’s birthday, and Mu Jin asked him to make dinner. Was Mu Jin expecting him to spend the birthday evening together?

The young man hesitated for a moment before persistently asking Mu Jin, “Is it just the two of us?”

While carefully placing the gift into his backpack, Mu Jin, without lifting his head, replied, “Yes, just the two of us.”

Qi Changfeng was momentarily stunned by Mu Jin’s words. He swallowed hard, still persistent in questioning, “But what about your friends…”

“As for them, we had lunch together earlier. I told them I’d be reviewing my lessons tonight, and I don’t want them to disturb us, having our own time together.” Mu Jin said with a playful wink, teasing Qi Changfeng.

Qi Changfeng heard Mu Jin’s teasing words, and his heart couldn’t help but beat faster. Regardless of whether Mu Jin meant it or not, he felt a sweet sensation, and he followed Mu Jin towards his house.

When the two reached halfway, instead of heading home directly, Mu Jin mentioned that Qi Changfeng needed to compensate him and insisted that he cook a big meal for him. So, they first went to a nearby grocery store, bought a lot of ingredients, and even decently bought a small cake. Of course, all the expenses were covered by Qi Changfeng.

Finally back home after some effort, as soon as Qi Changfeng put down his backpack, he hurried to the kitchen to prepare dinner for the evening. However, Mu Jin grabbed his arm, preventing him from moving.

Qi Changfeng turned to look at Mu Jin, seemingly puzzled about why he was being stopped.

Blushing, Mu Jin softly asked, “Does it still hurt?”

The young man was momentarily confused, not immediately understanding what Mu Jin meant. But then Mu Jin pointed to a spot on his arm, awkwardly scratching his head.

It was only now that Qi Changfeng remembered Mu Jin biting him on the arm earlier when he was angry. It did hurt a bit at the time, but he didn’t pay much attention to it. He smiled, shook his head, and said, “It’s fine.”

However, Mu Jin persisted and insisted on rolling up his sleeves to check for himself.

There were two rows of deep bite marks on his arm. Although they didn’t draw blood, it was evident that Mu Jin had used quite some force.

Looking at the deep marks, Mu Jin blushed and, considering his deliberate actions earlier, said with a hint of embarrassment, “Does it hurt a lot? I’ll go get some medicinal alcohol to rub it for you.”

But Qi Changfeng stopped Mu Jin, for some reason feeling a hidden sense of joy seeing the marks left by the other person on his arm. He even hoped that these imprints could stay on him and not fade away.

Seeing the guilt in the young man’s eyes, Qi Changfeng suddenly wanted to reach out and touch him. Although Mu Jin’s hair was not long, it was very neat. His naturally slightly curly black hair looked exceptionally soft. After hesitating for a moment, the young man reached out and ruffled Mu Jin’s hair.

The touch was as wonderful as he had imagined, softening his heart.

“It’s okay, really, it doesn’t hurt at all.” Qi Changfeng smiled, daringly pinching Mu Jin’s round and plump cheek.

Seeing the surprised look on the other’s face when he lifted his head, he quickly let go of his hand, but the amusement in his eyes deepened.

Turning his hand over, Qi Changfeng rubbed his fingers, contemplating how despite Mu Jin not being chubby at all and appearing healthy and sunny, his cheeks were indeed plump and felt comfortable to pinch.

Seeing Qi Changfeng retract his hand, Mu Jin didn’t say much. He felt happy about his lover’s proactive closeness. Gently massaging his arm a few times, he seemed to remember something and then ran back into the room.

After a while, Mu Jin came back with the clothes Qi Changfeng had worn when he stayed here before. He tossed them to Qi Changfeng and said, “Today is my birthday, so you have to spend it with me. Stop thinking about going home. So, you’ll stay at my place tonight!”

Qi Changfeng was momentarily stunned at the words. He didn’t feel any resentment towards Mu Jin’s seemingly commanding tone. Instead, he involuntarily tightened his grip on the clothes, secretly excited at the thought of sharing a bed with Mu Jin again. The feeling was different from the last time.

Although the previous experience involved Mu Jin tossing and turning, disturbing his sleep with an unsightly sleeping posture, recalling it now felt like a sweet burden.

Unexpectedly, he could sleep together again so soon, and the young man couldn’t help but look forward to it. He cast a deep glance at Mu Jin, slowly nodded, and seeing the radiant smile on Mu Jin’s face, he felt his heart beat faster.

After that, Qi Changfeng entered the kitchen. Since both had to prepare dinner, Mu Jin stayed in the kitchen to help his lover.

Casually and unhurriedly preparing dinner, they cooked several dishes that Mu Jin liked. Then, they placed them on the table. The dishes looked rich and tempting, with an inviting aroma filling the air. Mu Jin couldn’t help but drool.

He quickly took his seat, and like performing magic, he pulled out a bottle of wine from under the table. He winked mysteriously at Qi Changfeng and said, “Let’s drink this tonight! This is a well-aged wine my dad left behind. Today is my eighteenth birthday, so let’s celebrate with this. Tonight, we don’t stop until we’re drunk!”

Qi Changfeng was surprised to see the wine but thought about how Mu Jin had stopped him from buying drinks earlier at the supermarket. Now he understood the plan.
