Tyrant Meets Paranoid [Quick Transmigration] – Chapter 296

Chapter 296- Cultured Villain vs. Humanoid Weapon (01)

The Huangfu family, having lost all hope, decided to make one last desperate attempt, but they were no match for Huangfu Yu. No matter how hard they fought, all they did was hasten their own demise.

Huangfu Hongzhi, who was already advanced in age, suffered a stroke from anger upon seeing the family he cherished so much utterly destroyed in his generation. He was rushed to the hospital after a blood vessel burst.

Now paralyzed and bedridden, he can’t even take care of himself. As for the others who had once participated in the deception, they didn’t fare any better. Seeing Huangfu Hongzhi not only paralyzed but also destitute, Huangfu Yu decided not to pursue them further.

After completely swallowing the Huangfu family, Huangfu Yu returned peacefully to his home, where he and Mu Jin lived a loving, peaceful life as a couple.

For the blood race, who had little concept of time, Mu Jin and Huangfu Yu spent a long honeymoon together. With Wallis still around, the Malkavian clan continued to operate smoothly.

The man entered the room and saw the little figure in a robe, lazily leaning against the floor-to-ceiling window, gazing outside. His eyes softened.

The youth’s limbs were adorned with gold chains embedded with gemstones. On anyone else, such chains might seem gaudy, but his skin was so fair, and his features gave off such an air of cold elegance, that the gold chains only added to a sense of luxurious beauty.

Mu Jin turned his head, seeing his lover staring at him with such focus, and a bright smile appeared on his face.

He crooked a finger, pulling Huangfu Yu closer, wrapping the golden chain on his wrist around Huangfu Yu’s neck, and gave him a sweet kiss.

The temperature in the room rose again, and whatever the two lovers did to bring each other happiness and satisfaction was known only to them.

With the Huangfu family completely dealt with, Huangfu Yu was finally able to relax.

Upon learning that the sacred contract allowed him and Mu Jin to share life and everything else, but that their lifespan would be shortened to only a few hundred years, Huangfu Yu was deeply troubled, even regretful.

To Huangfu Yu, it didn’t matter whether he was human or part of the blood race. All that mattered was that his time with Mu Jin was not long enough. However, Mu Jin insisted that he preferred things this way, so Huangfu Yu settled his heart and focused on cherishing each day they had together.

In Huangfu Yu’s view, with only a few hundred short years of life, he wished he could spend every day glued to Mu Jin, and Mu Jin naturally indulged his lover.

As for the relationship between Huangfu Jian and Wallis, it was much more complicated. Although Wallis was an excellent suitor, Huangfu Jian didn’t feel the need to maintain his image as a straight man.

They went through many ups and downs together, but in the end, they found happiness with each other.

Huangfu Jian was a responsible person. After accepting Wallis’s pursuit, he remained faithful to his partner. Though somewhat reserved in nature, he was willing to devote all of his feelings to one person.

Whenever Mu Jin saw Wallis and Huangfu Jian looking at each other with such focus and deep affection, he always felt a sense of peace and tranquility.

The two most powerful couples in the manor constantly showed their affection, and this caused the other vampires and servants in the manor to grow restless. In fact, many of them ended up becoming couples as well.

Throughout their lives, Mu Jin and Huangfu Yu remained incredibly happy. With the powerful Malkavian clan behind them, and Huangfu Yu’s own abilities, gathering fortune and influence for him was an easy task.

Hundreds of years later, when Mu Jin felt his life force was finally coming to an end, he and Huangfu Yu entered the meticulously prepared double coffin.

The two embraced tightly, closing their eyes together. Their appearance remained just as it had been in their youth—handsome and full of life.

What Mu Jin didn’t know was that after he and his lover left the plane, Huangfu Jian, despite inheriting the blood race’s lineage, still couldn’t maintain a long lifespan and quickly reached the end of his life.

Huangfu Jian lay in Wallis’s arms, tightly holding his lover’s hand, and contentedly closed his eyes. But as soon as his eyes shut, a red orb of light slowly emerged from his body—something no one else could see.

After the orb left Huangfu Jian’s body, it stumbled and darted toward the edge of the plane, as if in a panicked escape.

Wallis, whose eyes were full of grief and who had already prepared a silver stake to follow Huangfu Jian in death, suddenly had a flash of silver light in his eyes.

His demeanor changed abruptly, and the sorrow in his gaze vanished in an instant. The man stood up, raised an eyebrow as he watched the red orb disappear from sight.

Then, the blonde vampire’s entire appearance began to shift, slowly transforming into a man dressed in white, with a handsome face like that of an ethereal immortal.

Staring at the space where the red orb had vanished, the man in white sighed with a wounded expression and murmured softly, “That little thing really is heartless.”

After speaking, the man transformed into a pure white stream of energy and followed the red orb, leaving the plane.

When Mu Jin next awoke, he found himself sitting with his arms crossed inside a spacious SUV, seemingly resting with his eyes closed. The sky outside had already turned completely dark, and he had an eerie sense that something unknown and dangerous was lurking in the night.

The original owner seemed to have planned to sleep in this car. At this moment, Mu Jin was wearing a black combat uniform, which allowed for easy movement.

Casually checking his belongings, he found that not only did he have firearms, ammunition, a dagger, and sharp weapons in his pockets, but there were also survival gear suitable for the wilderness stored in the bag on the passenger seat.

So, what exactly was the original owner experiencing now? Was he fleeing, or seeking some kind of thrill in the wild? However, Mu Jin noticed something unpleasant about himself. He sniffed his clothes and made a face of utter displeasure.

Although he wasn’t a clean freak, he was definitely unhappy with his current state. The black outfit he wore still fit him well, but it seemed like his body hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time.

The surroundings were completely dark, with no streetlights. However, Mu Jin’s excellent vision allowed him to make out that he was likely still in the city. Everything around was quiet, and the environment seemed relatively safe.

Mu Jin wasn’t planning to get out of the car and recklessly explore his surroundings just yet. He decided it was best to let 003 transfer the plot of this world into his mind first, so he could understand his current situation.

After a large chunk of the plot, along with the original owner’s memories, flooded into his mind, Mu Jin realized that this world was completely different from what he had imagined.

Once the plot was fully received, Mu Jin no longer minded his disheveled and unkempt state. After all, this was the apocalypse. For someone who roamed the wastelands, staying clean was obviously not an easy task—especially since the original owner was alone at the moment.

The storyline of this small world followed a similar path to many other post-apocalyptic survival stories. The protagonist of this world was named Jian Mingyuan. Before the apocalypse began, he was a graduate student—an exemplary young man admired by all, often referred to as the “ideal child.”

Jian Mingyuan came from a good family with substantial influence. His father, Jian Zhengqing, was a high-ranking military officer. Handsome, academically excellent, and from a well-off family, Jian Mingyuan was someone destined for a bright future.

Unfortunately, the apocalypse quietly arrived.

One day, an abnormal phenomenon appeared in the sky. After a moonlit night, instead of welcoming the day as usual, the entire world was plunged into three days of darkness. Following these three days, it seemed that a dark power awakened, causing many humans to mutate.

Once joyful families were now filled with heart-wrenching cries as hordes of zombies emerged. The virus they carried could be transmitted to ordinary people through bites or scratches, leading to infection within a short time. In less than a day, those infected would also become zombies.

This scene, which had only occurred in movies, was now happening in reality, and there was no available medication to stop the virus in the short term. Everyone’s lives underwent a drastic transformation as a result.

In this time of crisis, the protagonist, Jian Mingyuan, found his younger brother, Jian Minghui, who was also studying at the same university. Together with his close friends, they formed their own small team to navigate through the apocalypse.

A month after the apocalypse began, people gradually started to awaken their abilities. Jian Mingyuan’s ability was particularly powerful, resembling the typical abilities of protagonists in novels—a strong lightning-based power.

Jian Mingyuan had always been exceptional, and it was only natural that he became the leader of the team. He controlled his lightning abilities and fought fiercely, rescuing many victims along the way and bringing them to the safe haven of the Pingcheng Base, established by his father, Jian Zhengqing.

The main storyline of this small world revolves around how Jian Mingyuan leads his team to grow stronger in the apocalypse, helping people selflessly, and eventually saving a scientist capable of developing a cure for the apocalyptic virus.

Although zombies roamed the earth, and humanity should unite, the schemes and power struggles among the various bases continued unabated. It was precisely due to Jian Mingyuan’s overwhelming strength that he was able to conquer one base after another, uniting humanity in the process.

Once the apocalypse scientist finally developed the zombie vaccine, people no longer had to worry about being infected by the zombie virus.

Gradually, the zombies were eliminated by humanity. Although the world was left in ruins after this catastrophe, the emergence of the cure brought new hope to the people.

Jian Mingyuan became the leader of all humanity and was regarded as a hero, forever remembered in the annals of human history.

Of course, with the rise of a hero, there would also be villains. The most prominent antagonist in the entire plot was not the leaders of other bases who selfishly hindered humanity’s unity for their own gain.

Two very memorable villains appeared in the storyline, with the final boss being the Zombie King, who was against all of humanity, while the other was Jian Mingyuan’s younger brother, Jian Minghui.

Unlike Jian Mingyuan’s cold and tough demeanor, Jian Minghui was a master of scheming. He was very adept at manipulation and would go to any lengths to achieve his goals.

Jian Minghui had a high IQ, which explained why, despite being two years younger than Jian Mingyuan, he was in the same graduate program.

Wearing gold-rimmed glasses and always sporting a charming smile, Jian Minghui spoke eloquently and could easily win others’ favor.

He was always cautious in his actions and knew how to maximize his benefits. After the apocalypse, Jian Minghui awakened a mental ability that suited him perfectly, making him seem like the brain of the team.
