Luca was imprisoned by Colmer.
Colmer originally wanted to extract information about the whereabouts of his parents’ corpses from Luca, but Luca refused to say a word. Luca insisted on meeting Wan Tong before he would speak.
Foxan’s eyes could enchant others, manipulating their consciousness. However, this technique had no effect on Luca.
Wan Tong was unaware that Luca wanted to see her because Colmer never mentioned Luca whenever he met her.
Moreover, Wan Tong fell ill after she went out that day.

“He can’t escape.”
Just like how Luca made him experience losing his wings and enduring pain all over his body, Luca also lost his freedom.
“That’s good,” Wan Tong said with a silly smile.
Colmer kissed her but didn’t go any further. He felt guilty for being too demanding last time, causing her bedridden.
After Wan Tong fully recovered, she learned from Uncle Damon that Luca wanted to see her. She insisted on Colmer taking her to see Luca.
Luca remained in human form, chained and unable to move. A faint smell of blood lingered in the air.
Seeing Wan Tong hiding behind Colmer, Luca’s dead eyes suddenly brightened for a moment but quickly turned ice-cold.
He didn’t know where Wan Tong’s charm came from, making it impossible for him to control his gaze and consciousness. To ensure he could see her in the future, he decided to carry her with him.
“Luca, I’m here. You should say what you need to say,” Wan Tong spoke softly.

She heard from Shishi that Luca made a sinister deal and wanted to use all his points to take her away… as a specimen.

Luca said an address expressionlessly, but his gaze remained fixated on Wan Tong throughout.
Colmer’s face turned ashen, tightly gripping Wan Tong’s hand. After he finished speaking, he led her away.
Behind them, Luca stared at her figure, suddenly tilting his head back and bursting into laughter.
Wan Tong also glanced back at him, meeting his somewhat eerie smile. She grinned at him silently, forming a word with her mouth, “Pervert.”
Luca’s laughter abruptly stopped, staring at her in disbelief.
He had always thought of her as an innocent little female, though spirited, but still had no ability.
Now, seeing her cunning expression, he couldn’t help but be surprised. Perhaps, everything before wasn’t accidental; maybe she had intentionally played the fool?
Suddenly, he felt a bit reluctant to let her become a specimen.
After being released from prison, Colmer personally took people to the location Luca mentioned.
Due to concerns about it being another trap, he was even more cautious.
As expected, there was a trap, but it didn’t stump Colmer. When he returned home, he learned that there was a traitor within the clan. They not only attempted to rescue Luca but also sought to kill Wan Tong.
Fortunately, he had kept backup plans, preventing Wan Tong from falling into danger again.
Shortly thereafter, Luca, realizing the failure of the plan, took his own life.
Wan Tong and Colmer officially became companions, walking together amidst the mournful gazes of the other shapeshifters, embracing and sharing affection, towering high above the rest.
