Real Mother of the Wealthy Familys Rebellious Son is Back

Real Mother of the Wealthy Family’s Rebellious Son is Back – Chapter 1

Chapter 1 – I woke up and found I had a big son.

The Xie family experienced a significant event in the past couple of days.

The Master brought a woman home and let her stay in the master bedroom.

For over a decade, the Master has been single and entirely focused on his career. He has never brought a woman home before, as he usually didn’t have any women around him. His behavior this time was really unusual.

The other servants in the house were curious, but only the butler knew that Xie Yizhao had attended a cruise wedding that day. Then, Xie Yizhao hurried back home early with a woman in his arms, and the family doctor quickly arrived at the Xie residence to examine the woman.

She slept for an entire day.

Other than that her last name was Lu, the butler knew nothing about her. Master had left on a business trip that morning and would be gone for a few days. Before he left, he specifically instructed the butler to take good care of her.

The butler immediately realized that this Miss Lu might be staying for a long time. She was likely Master’s girlfriend and could potentially become the Madam of the house in the future.

However, this was not his concern. His duty was to take care of Miss Lu properly.

At 9 AM, the kitchen had prepared breakfast.

He called a maid, “Go upstairs and call Miss Lu for breakfast.”

She hadn’t eaten anything all day yesterday, so she must be hungry.

The butler was a bit worried. He wondered if Young Master Xie Heng might suddenly come back. If Young Master saw her, he might cause a scene quarrel with Master again. It was quite a headache.

Unexpectedly, a bigger trouble soon arrived at the house.

A servant rushed over to inform the butler that Wang Ling had come.

The butler frowned.

Soon, Wang Ling walked into the living room calmly, sat on the sofa, and started nitpicking everything. She complained that the servants were too lazy and that the vases were placed in a way that was not good for Feng Shui. Her sharp voice annoyed the servants, who secretly rolled their eyes.

Wang Ling was almost sixty years old. Her triangular eyes, thin lips, and sharp features made her look naturally harsh. Although she was also a servant, she had taken care of the Old Madam of the house and often came over to give orders, relying on her seniority.

A kitchen servant walked by with breakfast, and Wang Ling stopped them. “Master and Young Master aren’t home. Who is this for?”

The butler replied, “Miss Lu.”

Wang Ling immediately understood and frowned, “Master brought that woman back?”

She had heard about it the day before. Xie Yizhao had attended a cruise wedding, and in the middle of the event, someone found a woman floating in the water. Once she was rescued, Xie Yizhao immediately brought her to his cabin.

No one knew the exact details, and only a few witnesses saw what happened. Xie Yizhao had instructed the staff not to spread rumors.

Wang Ling, who lived in the Xie family’s ancestral house, had overheard this from people in the villa area. At first, she didn’t believe it, thinking it was too absurd for Xie Yizhao to bring a woman he found in the water home.

But it turned out to be true?

Wang Ling’s triangular eyes narrowed as she asked in displeasure, “Where is she? Why isn’t she up at this hour?”

Just then, a cold, arrogant voice came from upstairs, “Keep your voice down, you’re too loud.”

Wang Ling turned around in surprise and saw a young woman standing on the second floor. She was holding the glass railing, looking strikingly beautiful, but had a mocking expression on her face.

Seeing that face clearly, Wang Ling almost jumped off the sofa in shock, pointing at her with a trembling hand, “You, you are… Lu Xi?”

Lu Xi pursed her lips.

This old woman had a good memory.

Lu Xi couldn’t be bothered to respond to Wang Ling. She moved to the elevator and lazily went downstairs, heading straight to the dining room. The servants were stunned, wondering how Miss Lu seemed so familiar with the house’s layout.

What happened next was even more surprising. Lu Xi directly pulled out a chair and sat down, calmly starting to eat breakfast.

“Miss Lu…”

The servant was about to remind her that it was best not to sit there when Wang Ling strode into the dining room, looking Lu Xi up and down unceremoniously. “Who exactly are you?”

At first, Wang Ling was startled, thinking she had seen a ghost in broad daylight. But she quickly figured it out: Lu Xi had been dead for more than ten years, and even if she were still alive, she couldn’t possibly be this young!

Where did this imposter come from?!

Wang Ling aggressively questioned Lu Xi, and the butler followed closely behind, fearing they might clash. To his surprise, Miss Lu just glanced at Wang Ling indifferently, her beautiful face full of apathy, completely ignoring Wang Ling.

He noticed where Lu Xi was sitting and felt a tightness in his throat, awkwardly scratching his face.

The rectangular dining table had two main seats. Normally, Master sat on the right, and the left was left empty. Even Young Master wouldn’t sit there because it used to be the seat for the Madam of the house.

But here Lu Xi was, sitting right there. The problem was, now that she was seated, it would be inappropriate to ask her to move!

The butler looked conflicted.

Wang Ling was a bit angry. “I asked you a question, don’t you have any manners?”

“You’re interrupting someone while they’re eating, is that polite?” Lu Xi calmly swallowed a spoonful of yogurt and remarked casually, “It’s too sweet. Buy a different brand next time.”

The butler choked on his words.

At this moment, Lu Xi was wearing a dark green silk robe, her light brown curly hair lazily tied up in a bun, and her delicate face was full of composure.

An absurd thought suddenly popped into the butler’s mind: Miss Lu’s demeanor was just like that of the Madam of the house!

It’s a pity Lu Xi couldn’t hear his thoughts, or she would have nodded and said, “Of course, I always was.”

It was quite surreal.

Lu Xi had received a formal education since childhood. Although she wasn’t a top student, she graduated from a reputable 985 university1. She wasn’t superstitious, occasionally checking her horoscope at most, and had never imagined something like time travel would happen to her.

Yes, she, Lu Xi, had just slept for a bit and found herself sixteen years into the future.

It sounded unbelievable. That day, as usual, she took a nap, planning to play cards with some ladies afterwards. Ever since marrying Xie Yizhao, she had lived a pampered life, filled with sleeping in, shopping, and playing cards.

She got married right after graduating from university. Xie Yizhao was always busy with work, rarely having time to spend with her. Her life was a bit boring, but wealthy and comfortable. Lu Xi thought it was fine and never considered changing anything.

But sometimes, fate doesn’t let you decide, and changes unpredictably.

Lu Xi had a dream: a year later, she would give birth to a son named Xie Heng, a name full of beautiful meaning2. But not long after, she fell into a river due to a car accident, and her young life ended abruptly.

The dream was terrifyingly real.

The car plunged into the river, water flooding in, and she couldn’t open the door, only to be overwhelmed by the fear as she suffocated.

At that time, she had a million curses to shout. She, Lu Xi, had always obeyed the law, never deliberately bullied others despite her slightly pampered temperament, so why did she have to die so young?

Maybe her resentment was too deep, and fate gave her another chance.

When she woke up, she had time-traveled.

Now, it was sixteen years after her ‘death,’ and she was rescued from the same river where she was supposed to have had the accident, personally saved by Xie Yizhao.

Perhaps due to the side effects of time travel and choking on water, she had been feeling unwell and drowsy all day yesterday.

Fortunately, Xie Yizhao was by her side, and she intermittently learned about the situation from him.

Last night, he attended a cruise wedding, and the staff unexpectedly found her floating in the river. They immediately sent people to rescue her.

At that time, she was wearing a burgundy evening dress. Despite being drenched and looking particularly disheveled, her exquisite and stunning face could not be concealed.

The staff thought she was a guest for the banquet and panicked, quickly notifying the ship owner, who was also the groom for the day.

All the guests attending the wedding banquet were either wealthy or noble; it would be hard to explain if anyone fell into the water and something happened! Understanding the severity of the situation, the groom immediately rushed to the lounge. At that moment, he was discussing a cooperation detail with Xie Yizhao, so Xie Yizhao went along with him.

As soon as Xie Yizhao saw Lu Xi, he recognized her. After the ship’s doctor conducted a preliminary examination and confirmed that aside from minor drowning, she was not in any other danger, Xie Yizhao directly took her to his room and instructed the groom to keep not make it public.

Actually, Lu Xi briefly woke up for a few seconds at that time. She vaguely remembered the groom’s complex expression.

It was clear that Xie Yizhao came alone with just his assistant. Now, he wanted to take away a woman of unknown origin without saying a word and asked the groom to keep it a secret. It was hard not to think wrongly…

If Lu Xi hadn’t been too tired, she might have laughed out loud.

When they got ashore, Xie Yizhao instructed his assistant to take her to the nearest hospital. At this moment, Lu Xi grabbed his sleeve, her voice was weak, but she insisted on going home.

She still remembered how Xie Yizhao looked down at her and specifically asked, “Where is your home?”

What a cautious and shrewd man! Lu Xi rolled her eyes, gave the address of the villa, and then passed out again.

She had been quite angry at the time, but now that her mind was completely clear and her stomach satisfied, she had to admit that Xie Yizhao’s approach was very correct.

Faced with a woman who looked exactly like his deceased wife, he was already calm enough.

Yesterday, when she woke up in a bad state, Xie Yizhao didn’t ask much. He simply said, “I’m going on a business trip for a few days. You rest well first. We’ll talk about everything when I get back.”

His tone was so calm, as if she hadn’t died but just went back to her parents’ home for a few days.

Yesterday, she was groggy, her vision seemed covered in a haze, and she only vaguely saw Xie Yizhao’s face. His features were still handsome with defined edges, showing no signs of age, and his tone was as indifferent as ever.

Lu Xi was too tired to take a closer look.

She also knew what they would talk about when he returned, such as her identity, her whereabouts all these years, and what they would do next.

Lu Xi had nothing to worry about. Whatever should be done would be done.

She had already crossed over; no matter how outrageous it was, she had to accept reality.

It was actually a good thing for her. At least she didn’t have to die young, and she could take it one step at a time in the future.

Compared to Old Xie, she was now more interested in Little Xie.

If she hadn’t crossed over, she would have given birth to this son a year later. Judging by the time, she would have been pregnant with him soon, given birth to him, named him Xie Heng, and then suddenly died, never seeing him grow up.

It sounded beautiful yet sad… maybe, but Lu Xi was completely confused.

To her, she had just slept for a while. How could she suddenly have a big son?

Xie Heng was now sixteen, but she was only twenty-two! Isn’t that really strange?

Although rationally, she knew she was just missing in these years, and Xie Heng was indeed her biological son, emotionally, it was hard to imagine herself pregnant and experienced the pain of childbirth. She just felt as if a sixteen-year-old big boy had appeared out of thin air.

But strangely, Lu Xi didn’t reject it. She was more curious.

Ignoring Wang Ling, she asked the butler, “Where is Xie Heng? Why hasn’t he come down for breakfast?”

Before the butler could answer, Wang Ling finally found a breakthrough and said sarcastically, “Miss, you don’t need to worry about Xiao Heng. His father will take care of him.”

Lu Xi replied, “As his mother, I also want to care. Is that any of your business?”

Wang Ling was speechless. Did she hear wrong, or had this woman gone mad?

  1. Project 985 was a higher education development and sponsorship scheme of the Chinese central government for creating world-class universities. ↩︎
  2. the surname 谢 (Xiè) is from 谢谢 (xièxiè) which means thank you. The character 珩 (Héng) refers to a jade piece or a type of jade ornament. It can also be associated with something precious and elegant. In ancient Chinese culture, jade is highly valued and often symbolizes purity, grace, and nobility. ↩︎

rokumi’s note : a new project! This one is more of a family-themed novel rather than a romance one, but I really like their interactions as family. And of course, there are still sweet dog food to eat. I will update every Tuesday for now.
